Beatrice is Doomed

- Synopsis: A look at Beatrice Frega's life, before and after the game. How she became blind, how and why she abandoned her home, why she signed a Blood Contract, and how she met the Eyetaker's gang, among other things that shaped who she is. There's also some scenes from case 4 narrated from her perspective, and other characters'. The other part of the story deals with her fate one year after her conviction.
- Comments: Deviates from canon in that Marrunath can cast spells of his own and Aria's first trial was against someone other than Tyrion. It's a long fic with over 100K words as of March 2024. It has plenty of character introspection on Beatrice, explores her relationship with Marrunath, and is generally intriguing and interesting to read. The author introduces new characters like Coraline Sibyl's sister and two of the Eyetaker's minions, who befriend Beatrice.
