- Comments: This story is set the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic universe but clearly has a firm inspiration by McCarthy's The Road throughout with the vivid descriptions of a dead-world after a mysterious cataclysm and the same core story about hope and survival which follows a parent and child as they travel through a bleak post-apocalyptic world, but it also manages to go in a more hopeful direction, highly recommended as a fan of both The Road and Friendship is Magic.
