- Synopsis: It’s finally Senior Prom, and the school’s most charismatic personalities are actually graduating this time—rules for how long monsters stay in school vary by species and are ridiculously strange and convoluted. Seriously, it’s like they’ve been stuck in a time loop or something. How many times have they actually gone to prom? No one really knows.
ANYWAY—after chasing after love interests for so long, everyone’s favorite squad of Player Characters has decided that this year, they’re going to focus on themselves. They have their own problems and aspirations to deal with aside from being way too thirsty for their own good (not that anyone else seems to know or care) and since it seems like whatever they do with their prom dates is more or less forgotten about by the next cycle, they’re skipping prom this year.
Needless to say, everyone is perturbed by this break in routine. With the end of high school on the horizon, the love interests are going to have to decide if they’ve found someone they want to have a real relationship with—and with how things are looking, they’re going to have to do some of the chasing and problem-solving this time around.
- Comments: A new but ridiculously promising fic that treats the cast as a full ensemble while having the excellent sense of everyone's characterization to pull it off in its use of multiple perspectives. The writer's style also tends toward serious/thoughtful and character-study-ish, but they pay homage to pretty much every facet of the game's appeal, from the silliness and enjoyable absurdity of a lot of what happens in the setting to the self-aware elements of Deconstruction and meta-humor to just plain classic "shipping feels". Definitely worth keeping an eye on and encouraging!

- Synopsis: Question. What do Brian Yu - a Habitual Slacker and social outcast-, Vicky Schmidt - a lovesick, compulsive overachiever -, Oz - the dork to end all dorks -, and Amira Rashid - a brash hothead with a penchant for crime - have in common? Absolutely nothing. That doesn't matter though, because it is now, in their last year of high school, that their paths intersect for the first time. Can they, on the precipice of adulthood, learn to live, love, and grow as people? Or does High School not matter at all, and everyone should just crack open a textbook for once?
One thing's for sure... it should definitely be the second one, and the fact that it's the first one proves they haven't grown in the slightest.
- Comments: I know it may be a script fic but it's the best goddamn script fic I've ever read. Tenkay 10 managed to perfectly capture the feel of monster prom's humor while also pulling off some absolutely amazing interpretations of the characters that shows both their hidden depths and allows them to go through some serious character development; this fic will make you laugh out loud and cry from the situations it throws at you. This could legitimately be an actual television adaptation of monster prom for how good the fic is. Give it a shot, I promise you won't regret it.

Thoroughly interested, the monsters call for Oz to show them the acting that is being so highly praised by one of his closest friends. Relenting, Oz takes them all over to his home dimension, where his will is law…and shows his best friends’ love interests a whole new side to him that they’ll never forget.
