is a fanfiction sequel to Zero Time Dilemma written by GrumpiestCat. It follows Diana, Sigma and Phi as they search for a nuclear terrorist.
Warning, unmarked spoilers below for all three installments of the game series.
This work includes the following tropes:
- Animal Motifs: While in the morphogenetic field, Diana perceives other espers as birds. She's a bluebird, and Sigma is a hawk.
- Batman Gambit: While recruiting Cassandra, Akane deliberately acts more mercenary than Phi is comfortable with so Phi will object, showing Cassandra that their organization can be trusted. Phi is not happy when she realises this.
- Cutting Off the Branches: In the fic's version of ZTD, Carlos shot Delta.
- What Is This Thing You Call "Love"?: As a result of telepathically connecting with others, Mira has started to feel emotion- though she considers it the same as mimicking them. The only difference is that now her "mimicry" is involuntary.
