Funtastic Studios, (also known as Funtastic), is an independent American production studio that was founded in December 2022 to create original works. Its first release was Okies, which premiered the same day as the foundation of the studio.
Works associated with Funtastic:
- Okies (December 21st, 2022): Set in a beautiful urban metropolis, the story of a miniature lop rabbit gardener who aspires to be a beloved artist in an otherwise mundane world. She spends her days learning and growing up as an artist, while growing a desire to eventually purchase her dream easel. We also get the perspective of her friends and family thrown in, who have a host of aspirations to aim for as well, ranging from a peppy rabbit film lover to a timid cat musician and a red panda engineer who works at a video rental store. The question is if they’ll make it to the sunniest of horizons, truly beloved?
- Mahou Shoujo Alleys Inferno (September 1st, 2023): A series set in the Magical Girl genre, which follows a clumsy but kindhearted middle school barista who longs for the world to be a better place, but struggles to see it when almost everyone she knows shows the opposite of compassion. When a black cat offers her to make one wish during a rainy day, she turns to it to become a magical girl, but little does she know that balancing her newfound identity with her everyday duties may result in her life becoming a bigger deal of all sorts of problems, where her problems are monsters she has to fight, especially when not everything is what it seems to be...
