Future proofing the Fire Emblem Heroes cast index by moving everyone into a respective page: All of the major realms get their own page, while the minor realms (Ymir and Ginnungagap) share a page due to not being relevant enough to justify a page of their own. While Yggdrasill is a major realm, the known cast is too small to get its own page for now, so I'll add those characters to the "Other Realms" page for now, and give its own page later when that category gets closer to 40k characters.

!!Yggdrasill, the Realm of the World-Tree
[[folder:In General]]
[[quoteright:302:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yggdrasilsymbol.png]]
[[caption-width-right:302:The Tree of Yggdrasill]]
* DeadlyDoctor: While the Healing Hands are supposed to be healing those who need it, they were tasked into being assassins by their father. That doesn't stop them from looking like medical professionals, though.
* DressedToHeal: The Healing Hands are all designed with a medical motif, as they are tasked with healing those who need it all over the Nine Realms. In particuliar, Ratatoskr's outfit resembles that of a nurse, Hræsvelgr seems to resemble a surgeon, and Níðhöggr has the outfit of a doctor.
* {{Irony}}: Their main job was healing those in need across the Nine Realms, but now they're all tasked into assassinating healthy people.
* TheLostWoods: The realm is a lush landscape with many dense forests, including forests growing on the the World-Tree Yggdrasill itself.
* TheOmniscient: All members of the Healing Hands know just about everything about the people they treat as a way to diagnose their injuries and illnesses. This proves an effective method for when they're switched to assassins.
* WorldTree: True to its inspiration, Yggdrasill is an enormous tree that hosts the gateway to all worlds. It is also the home of the god of openness, Askr.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Læraðr]]
The leader of the Healing Hands, tasking his children to assassinate Alfonse and Veronica.
----
* AbusiveParents: Suddenly telling all his daughters to kill themselves after assassinating their targets comes across as this. The fact that Ratatoskr finds this odd suggests that he wasn't like this before.
* LetsYouAndHimFight: It is implied that he is trying to prevent the Kingdom of Askr and the Emblian Empire from finalizing their peace by getting the two nations to resume their war with each other.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: Ratatoskr finds it very odd that her loving father suddenly ordered all his daughters to kill innocent people ''and'' kill themselves once those tasks are completed.
* ThemeNaming: Ratatoskr says that Læraðr is essentially the tree Yggdrasill's other half. In Norse Mythology, Læraðr is a tree that is said to stand at the top of Valhalla, often considered to be another name for the World-Tree Yggdrasill. The stag Eikþyrnir and the goat Heiðrún are said to graze its foliage.

->''"My sisters and I have healed many people of their illnesses and injuries. Those we helped were always so grateful...it made me glad we were there for them. It felt like we were helping people protect their joy... That's what it felt like to me, at least."''

The youngest member of the Healing Hands, and younger sister to Hræsvelgr and Níðhöggr. After failing to follow orders from her father Læraðr to assassinate Alfonse, she requests the Order of Heroes to stop her sisters from assassinating and killing themselves once their tasks are done. She is a Mythic Hero of Astra.

'''Artist:''' Kozaki Yusuke\\
'''Class:''' Blue Beast Cavalier
----
* ArcHeroine: She's introduced as the central heroine of Book VIII.
* CuteClumsyGirl: Ratatoskr is shown to be quite a klutz in the Book VIII Movie, tripping on one of the many branches of Yggdrasill and falling from a great distance, as well as tumbling into the Askr castle via breaking a window.
* DoubleAgent: Alfonse enlists her help by being this so she goes back to her father to gather intel on his movements, even though Ratatoskr may end up betraying them if it benefits her (which she won't). And in case they see an opportunity to use her to get information from the Order, Anna mentions she'll be a ''triple'' agent.
* GreenThumb: Ratatoskr is able to use create [Divine Vein (Green)] spaces, which are vines that prevent the foe from teleporting to or from the space.
* InLoveWithTheMark: There's hints that she's crushing on Alfonse despite being ordered to kill him.
* LightningBruiser: She has outstanding Spd at 46, fantastic Atk at 45, above average Def at 34 and average HP at 40, but low Res at 21.
* LuminescentBlush: Other than her NervousWreck expressions, it's easy to tell when she blushes out of love around Alfonse.
* MilesToGoBeforeISleep: She and her sisters were ordered by Læraðr to take their own lives once their tasks were completed. Though her older sisters are more than ready to do it, Ratatoskr abhors the idea, prompting her to ask the Order of Heroes for assistance to save her sisters instead of going through assassinating Alfonse.
* TheMole: As the Order's DoubleAgent, she pretends to be this to her side to keep tabs on their moves, which is rather complicated for her because her sisters refuse to tell her enough that may be advantageous to the Order. Her pretending to be still allied to her sisters is cemented when [[spoiler:Alfonse has her "divulge" his secret plan of sneaking all alone in the night to meet up with Veronica, even if he could've been killed by Hræsvelgr, because he truly couldn't lose the chance to keep Ratatoskr as a double agent against the Healing Hands.]]
* NervousWreck: She's rather quick to panic when she didn't have it in her to assassinate Alfonse even though she had expertly done a good job blindsiding him, and she only keeps panicking when faced with other dangerous prospects.
* NiceGirl: She could have killed Alfonse without difficulty (never mind the fact she's got a color advantage), but she holds herself back to a stuttering point because she knows Alfonse is a genuinely good person.
* RunningOnAllFours: While Ratatoskr can walk around on her two legs, she is seen running on all fours like an animal, which is shown as she's running down the World-Tree in the Book VIII Movie.
* SecurityBlanket: Whenever she panics, she desperately embraces her glowing tail, which is actually shown in her mugshots.
* StatusBuff:
** Her World-Tree Tail gives her +5 Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat and additional +3 Atk/Spd during combat for each ally that has is at 40% HP or above, up to +9 Atk/Spd during combat, if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat. She also has Atk/Spd Clash 4, where it gives her +6 Atk/Spd during combat if he or his foe initiated combat and moved from a different space, and additional +1 Atk/Spd during combat for each space moved, up to +4 additional Atk/Spd during combat, and Mending Hand, which gives her +4 Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat if she either initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally.
** As a Mythic Hero of Astra, if an ally has an Astra Blessing during Astra Season in Aether Raids, she gives them +5 HP and +4 Spd if they're on the battlefield, which can be stacked with other Mythic Heroes of Astra, including copies of herself.
* TerrainSculpting: Her Mending Heart allows her to setup [Divine Vein (Green)] on all spaces within 2 spaces of her, including the one she is on, after she acts and after moving with Canto, where [Divine Vein (Green)] prevents the foe from warping from or into the affected space, as well as inflicts -1 special buildup per attack if they're on it during combat.
* ThemeNaming: Ratatoskr is the squirrel that delivers messages between an unnamed giant Eagle (one that holds the smaller bird Veðrfölnir between its eyes) at top of Yggdrasill and Níðhöggr at the roots of Yggdrasill in Norse Mythology.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: She transforms into a giant squirrel to attack her foes during combat, and thus is counted as a Beast unit during gameplay.
* ZeroEffortBoss: She is fought at the end of Book VIII, Chapter 1...which would normally be a challenge, if not for the fact that Ratatoskr is fought ''all by herself'', without any reinforcements to back her up.

* AdaptationalSpeciesChange: Instead of an eagle in Norse Mythology, in ''Heroes'' Hræsvelgr's beast form is a harpy instead.
* ArmorPiercingAttack: Her Quieting Claw allows her to ignore 50% of the foe's non-Special DamageReduction skills per attack if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff: Her Quieting Claw allows her to inflict -7 Spd/Def, [Exposure] and [Anti-Miracle] to the nearest foe and foes within 2 spaces of her at the start of her turn if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, and she inflicts -4 Atk/Spd/Def/Res on the foe during combat and an additional -3 Atk/Spd/Def/Res for each foe within 2 spaces of her foe with a [Bonus] or [Penalty] effect, excluding field stat buffs and debuffs, up to -6 Atk/Spd/Def/Res, totalling up to -10 Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
* DamageReduction: Her Quieting Claw allows her to reduce damage taken from the foe's attacks by 40% if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
* FeatheredFiend: Hræsvelgr is bird Divine Beast who attempts to assassinate the Order of Heroes under the orders of her father.
* HarpingOnAboutHarpies: Despite being based on an eagle in Norse Mythology, Hræsvelgr's beast form resembles a harpy than an eagle.
* HistoricalGenderFlip: Hræsvelgr in Norse Mythology is male, while in ''Heroes'' Hræsvelgr is a woman instead.
* MilesToGoBeforeISleep: Instructed to kill herself once she fulfills her own assassination job.
* LightningBruiser: She has very high Atk and Spd alongside decent HP and Def, with her only flaw being a lower Res stat.
* TheStoic: Fitting for her design to be a surgeon, Hræsvelgr displays little to no emotions.
* ThemeNaming: Hræsvelgr is a jötun that takes form of a giant bird whose wing beats are often the origins of wind in Norse Mythology.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: She transforms into an eagle/human hybrid resembling a harpy to attack her foes during combat, and thus is counted as a Beast unit during gameplay.
* WingedHumanoid: True to her inspiration, she has a pair of inverted wings connected to her waist, only properly aligning when gliding forward in the Book VIII intro.
* WolverineClaws: Hræsvelgr wears a pair of gloves with long knives on each finger. However, she doesn't use these when attacking, instead using the talons on her feet when she transforms.

----
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange: While in Norse Mythology, Níðhöggr is a serpent or dragon, in ''Heroes'', her beast form is a lamia instead.
* TheAlcoholic: Níðhöggr is shown to be constantly drunk from eating apples, with a noticeable flushed expression and occasionally hiccuping.
* AnimalMotifs: Snakes. She has a two-headed snake, often sticks her tongue out, is seen poisoning Veronica and attacks her while she's down with a pointed hand thrust in the Book VIII intro.
* BiblicalMotifs: Her affinity with both snakes and apples may bring to mind the story of Adam and Eve, where the titular duo were tempted by a snake who was an agent of if not the Devil himself into disobeying God and falling into sin by picking and eating a fruit (often depicted as an apple) from a forbidden tree.
* BreakingOldTrends: Níðhöggr is the first Armored Beast unit to not be Colorless. Additionally, she is also the first ''Heroes'' character to be an Armored Beast as opposed to a Cavalry, Infantry, or Flying Beast.
* KickTheDog: She criticizes Veronica on her wish to repent for her past actions as an enemy of Askr so she's conditioned to accept her death through being poisoned, but Veronica shoots back that she wants to change to make life better for Embla all the same.
* MightyGlacier: She has very high HP, Atk, and Def, good Res, but poor Spd, and is classified as an Armored unit.
* MilesToGoBeforeISleep: Instructed to kill herself once she assassinates Veronica.
* PoisonousPerson: Her main method of killing people is using poison, which she uses to attempt to kill Veronica.
* SnakesAreSinister: Níðhöggr has a two-headed snake, and is shown attempting to kill Veronica in the Book VIII Opening Movie.
* SnakePeople: Despite being based on a dragon in Norse Mythology, Níðhöggr's beast form resembles a lamia than a dragon or snake. The way her hair is formed resembles that of a cobra.
* StealthPun: She is wearing what looks to be a lab coat, her serpent is shaped like a stethoscope, and she's constantly shown eating apples. All of this creates a unique twist on the phrase "An apple a day keeps the doctor away".
* TailSlap: Her attack animation involves slamming her beast form's tail, while her killing blow animation has her drill her tail into the ground and stabbing the enemy from below.
* ThemeNaming: Níðhöggr is the dragon (specifically a lindworm) that eats away the roots of Yggdrasill, sometimes murderers, adulterers and oathbreakers in Náströnd as well, often has a rivalry between the giant unnamed eagle at the top of Yggdrasill, needing the squirrel Ratatoskr to deliver messages between them both, and is prophesied to survive the events of Ragnarök.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: She transforms into an snake/human hybrid resembling a lamia to attack her foes during combat, and thus is counted as a Beast unit during gameplay.

!!Jötunheimr, the Realm of Jötnar
[[folder:In General]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jotunheimr_crest.png]]
[[caption-width-right:300:The Eagle of Jötunheimr]]
* AnimalMotif: Eagles. The royal family each have a large NobleBirdOfPrey accompanying them, their emblem is a combination of a sword and an eagle, and some of the architecture include statues of giant birds.
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: The Queen of Jötunheimr must not only be from the royal bloodline, but also be strong, lest they be skipped over for the throne to another when the queen steps down. This is the major reason why Dagr challenges the Order of Heroes in Book V Chapter 4.
* GoodOldWays: Compared to the technologically advanced dvergar, the jötnar tend to be more traditionalist in outlook.
* MartialPacifist: Despite being full of great warriors, the jötnar openly dislike fighting, only doing so when it is necessary. Dagr, however, seems to be the exception.
* {{Matriarchy}}: Jötunheimr's sovereign is always a queen.
* OurGiantsAreBigger: Zig-Zagged. They are described as large folk, but the princesses of Jötunheimr are no taller than any of the tall human characters in ''Heroes'', while their mother and Queen of Jötunheimr is described as being several times larger than themselves, according to Dagr. This is a case of ShownTheirWork, as "jötun" is usually translated to "giants", but it is more accurate to translate that as "[[OurTitansAreDifferent titans]]" like those in Myth/ClassicalMythology. In other words, another class of "gods" aligned to chaos and other primordial forces.[[note]]On that note, the Titans in Classical Mythology are considered to be more accurately be around the same size as the Gods, and not at all gigantic, unlike the Giants from the same mythology, who ''are'' actually gigantic[[/note]] There are also giant jötun alongside human-sized ones in Norse Mythology, such as the really gigantic Ymir alongside the human-size Loki, but that is because the jötnar as a whole are naturally [[VoluntaryShapeshifting shapeshifters]].
* TempleOfDoom: The realm of Jötunheimr is home to ancient temples within its sprawling cities, such as the Night Temple, which is briefly visited in Book V.

A female jötun warrior and princess from Jötunheimr, and twin sister of Nótt. Cheerful and bright, but loves a good fight. In Book V she challenges the Order of Heroes in order to prove her strength to her mother, the Queen of Jötunheimr. In March 2021, she was released as a Mythic Hero of Light.

'''Class:''' Axe Fighter (regular), Green Bow Flier (Like Clockwork), Sword Cavalier (Winds Offered)
----
* ActionInitiative: Her Sun-Twin Wing(+) and Twin-Sky Wing, in addition to inflicting -5 Spd/Def (Atk/Spd/Def with Sun-Twin Wing+) on the foe during combat, allows her to ignore any skills that deny any of the user's follow-up attacks and guarantee the foe's follow-up attacks, if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul: Dagr in original Norse Mythology is sometimes mentioned to be the son of Nótt, while other times be unrelated to her at all. In ''Heroes'' the both of them are twin sisters instead.
* AmazonianBeauty: Her outfit shows off her abs and muscles, and she is not any less beautiful than her twin sister Nótt.
* AngstySurvivingTwin: [[spoiler:In Book V Chapter 12 She is in tears after seeing her sister Nótt sacrifices herself to take a hit intended for her and begs Nótt not to die.]]
* AntiDebuff: Her regular variant's Skinfaxi turns stat debuffs inflicted on her into buffs, in addition to granting her +5 Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat, if she has 25% or more HP at start of combat.
* ArmorPiercingAttack:
** Regular Dagr's Sun-Twin Wing+ allows her to ignore 50% of the foe's non-Special DamageReduction skills if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
** New Year Duo Dagr & Nótt have access to Luna, which allows them to ignore 50% of the foe's defenses when it triggers.
* ArtShift: In her and Nótt's appearance in the Book V opening, they're rendered in 2D with sharp cel shading, and have lower framerates in their animation in comparison to the rest of the opening, which is rendered in 3D.
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: It turns out that for all their bickering, the sisters really do love each other. [[spoiler:Dagr is devastated when Nott is mortally wounded after her TakingTheBullet moment, and Nótt dies reassuring Dagr that she will one day become a great queen.]]
* BloodKnight: Her description reveals that she loves a good fight when the time comes. Said time, however, includes the Order of Heroes' arrival to Jötunheimr.
* BoisterousBruiser: Dagr is overly positive and is eager to prove herself in battle, despite her nation taking a pacifist ideology.
* BoyishShortHair: To go along with being the tomboy with Nótt, she has short hair.
* CoolBigSis: She's quite affectionate toward Reginn, and even outright states that she sees her as a little sister.
* CooldownManipulation: Her Wind variant's Fujin Uchiwa grants her -1 maximum special cooldown, as well as grant her +1 special buildup per attack if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
* CynicismCatalyst: As the [[https://youtu.be/VLiY59C35PU "The Future Queen" video]] revealed, Dagr's rivalry against her sister Nótt and BloodKnight tendencies stems from jötnar tradition that one can only become queen by being proven stronger than their competition and not just through inheritance when their mother declares it their one of their time to ascend the throne of Jötunheimr and Nótt accepting this without hesitation three years before the events of Book V, where Dagr was initially on board on Nótt ascending the throne and hated going against her sister that she even plead to their mother to let Nótt do so without having them go against each other, but ultimately is not Dagr or even the Queen's decision to make as it has been the way of Jötunheimr for generation, which upsetted Dagr for a while, to the point of even avoid confronting Nótt, eventually leading Dagr declaring that she will try to become Queen of Jötunheimr as well, even if she has to go against her sister.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff:
** Her Sun-Twin Wing(+) and Twin-Sky Wing inflicts -5 Spd/Def (Atk/Spd/Def with Sun-Twin Wing+) on the foe during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
** The unique refine for regular Dagr's Skinfaxi allows her to inflict -4 Atk/Spd/Def on the foe during combat and additional debuffs on the foe's Atk/Spd/Def during combat equal to double the foe's field stat buffs during combat, where for example if the foe has 4 Atk and 6 Spd, she inflicts -8 Atk and -12 Spd on the foe during combat, effectively reversing the foe's stat buffs during combat, if she either initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally.
** New Year Duo Dagr & Nótt's Jötnar Bow, if they either initiate combat or are within 2 spaces of an ally, allows them to inflict -5 Atk/Spd/Def on the foe during combat as well as inflict Atk/Spd/Def on the foe during combat equal to the amount of field stat buffs that foe has active on each of those stats during combat, where for example if they have +4 Atk and +6 Spd/Def, they inflict -4 Atk and -6 Spd/Def on the foe during combat, for a total of -9 Atk and -11 Spd/Def. They also have Atk/Def Rein, where it allows them to inflict -4 Atk/Def foes within 2 spaces of them during combat.
** Wind Dagr's Fujin Uchiwa allows her to debuff the foe's Atk/Spd/Def/Res equal to their field stat buffs on each of those stats during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, effectively canceling out their field stat buffs during combat.
* DamageReduction: Her Wind variant's Fujin Uchiwa allows her to reduce damage taken from the foe's first attack by 40% if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
* DisappearedDad: Implied by one of Dagr's castle quotes.
-->'''Dagr:''' "I have a fool sister and a terrifying mom back in Jötunheimr. Huh? A dad? Uhh... I might have one. I forget, honestly. Not that important!"
* DontCallMeSir: In Nyna's Forging Bonds events, Dagr insists that Nyna simply call her by name, without the "Princess" title.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Pun aside, she appears in the Book V movie, a few months before her official appearance in Book V.
* {{Foil}}: While the both of their regular variants are {{Lightning Bruiser}}s with the special Dragon Fang and weapons that give them +3 Spd, [Pathfinder] and +5 Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat and B skills that inflict -5 Spd and one other stat on the foe during combat as well as another effect usually only exclusive to Infantry units if they're at 25% HP or more at the start of combat, both Dagr and Nótt play in different ways, which is reflected with their default skills, with Dagr focusing on offense:
** Dagr wields Axes, usually used by strong male units in ''Fire Emblem'' and invoking BrutishCharacterBrutishWeapon, while Nótt wields Lances, where NaginataAreFeminine.
** Dagr is a Mythic Hero of Light and gives +5 HP/Res to all allies with the Light Blessing on Light seasons, and therefore is a Offense unit in Aether Raids, while Nótt is a Mythic Hero of Dark and gives +5 HP/Def to all allies with the Dark Blessing on Dark seasons, and therefore is a Defense unit in Aether Raids.
** Dagr's Skinfaxi allows her to get stronger if she is inflicted with penalties on her stats during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, making her reliant on enemies trying to debuff her, while Nótt's Hrímfaxi allows her to get stronger with more bonuses to her stats.
** Dagr has Atk/Spd Push 4 as her A skill, which gives her +7 Atk/Spd during combat at the cost of 5 HP if she attack and she was at 25% HP at the start of combat, making her great on the player phase, while Nótt has Distant Counter to make her work in the enemy phase.
** Dagr's Sun-Twin Wing as her B skill, which allows her to inflict -5 Spd/Def on the foe during combat as well as negate any skills that deny any of her follow-up attacks and skills that guarantee the foe's follow-up attack if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, allowing her to deal with troublesome foes that rely on guaranteed follow-up attack and denying their foe's follow-up attacks while also allowing her to hit harder, while Nótt Moon-Twin Wing allows her to inflict -5 Atk/Spd and give her DamageReduction if she is faster than her foe.
** Dagr has Even Tempest as her C skill, which gives her +1 movement at the start of even turns, allowing her to move far and attack foes from a large range in the player phase while also out-ranging most melee Infantry and Flying units, while Nótt has Atk/Spd Menace to allow herself to gain +6 Atk/Spd and inflict -6 Atk/Spd to the nearest foe if there is a foe within 4 spaces of her.
* FinalBoss: Her New Year Duo variant is this in the "Togetherness" Tempest Trials+.
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: Subverted. She initially comes off as the Foolish to Nótt's Responsible when she attacks the Askr party to prove that she is stronger than Nótt and earn her place as Queen of Jötunheimr while Nótt is peaceful and cooperative towards you. [[spoiler:Then she reveals she's been seduced by Ótr into handing your heads over on pikes, so Nótt's just as big of a moron.]]
* GenkiGirl: Dagr's a pretty cheerful and excitable lady.
* GlassCannon: New Year Duo Dagr & Nótt has fantastic Spd at 42 and Atk at 41, and average HP at 40, but have below average Def at 27 and low Res at 22.
* TheGloriousWarOfSisterlyRivalry: Dagr sees her sister Nótt as a rival to the throne of Jötunheimr, and tries to prove herself to her mother that she can beat her to the throne by being stronger than her. This is the main reason why she fights Reginn and the Order of Heroes in Book V Chapter 4. [[spoiler:She does get the upper hand and eventually defeats Nótt at the end of Book V Chapter 5, but only because Dagr took advantage over Nótt being love-struck for Ótr.]]
* HistoricalGenderFlip: Dagr in Norse Mythology is a male. In ''Heroes'', Dagr is a female warrior.
* LightIsGood: Dagr is a Mythic Hero of Light, and sides with the Order of Heroes after they defeat her in Book V.
* LightningBruiser:
** Her regular variant packs high Atk at 39 and Spd at 41, as well as Skinfaxi to give herself significant spectrum buffs that only get higher if she's debuffed, Dagr hits very fast and very hard. On the flip side, her defenses and HP are middling but still serviceable at 41 HP, 30 Def and 25 Res, and she can mitigate them with Skinfaxi's aforementioned in-combat buffs.
** Her Wind variant has outstanding Spd at 46 and Atk at 45, and average HP at 41 and Def at 30, but low Res at 22.
* ManOfKryptonite: Woman in this case, but her regular version's Skinfaxi, with the unique refine, allows her to effectively reverse her field stat debuffs and foe's field stat buffs on their Atk/Spd/Def during combat, meaning that she is the perfect counter against Menace skills and similar effects if the debuffs hit her. Considering that regular Nótt, her twin sister, has Atk/Spd Menace by default...
* MsFanservice: Her New Year's kimono has shades of this. While you could argue her normal outfit shows more skin, it mainly focuses on her very muscular stomach arms, and legs. With the kimono she has her shoulder out while wearing a sarashi that shows off a lot of cleavage due to how big her chest is.
* MySpeciesDothProtestTooMuch: Unlike other jötnar, who dislike fighting for pleasure, Dagr is a full-on BloodKnight.
* NobleBirdOfPrey: She is accompanied by a giant one, who is also covered in full armor.
* NoSell:
** Her Sun-Twin Wing and Twin-Sky Wing allows her to ignore skills that deny her follow-up attacks and guarantee the foe's follow-up attacks, if she is at 25% HP or above at start of combat, on top of inflicting -5 Spd/Def on the foe during combat.
** Her Wind variant's Atk/Spd Clash 4, in addition to granting her Atk/Spd during combat, also has her ignore any field stat debuffs on her Atk/Spd during combat if the initiator moved at least 2 spaces before combat.
* ParentalTitleCharacterization: Since most ''Franchise/FireEmblem'' nobles and royals address their parents as "Mother" and "Father," the fact that Dagr uses "Mom" on her mother shows how laid-back and informal she is.
* PreMortemOneLiner:
-->''"Smash and bash!"''\\

''"Way too easy."''\\
''"Expect the best!"''\\
''"Happy New Year!"'' (''Like Clockwork'', with Nótt)\\

''"Storm's rollin' in..."'' (''Winds Offered'')\\
''"Hold onto something!"'' (''Winds Offered'')\\
''"Ssshhhooom!"'' (''Winds Offered'')
* PromotedToPlayable: She was made playable with the release of the "Book V Mid: Nótt and More" banner in early June 2021.
* ProudBeauty: One of her quotes as a New Year's Duo with her sister Nótt implies this. She gushes that Nótt looks great in her kimono, which Nótt says is Dagr probably just complimenting herself since they're fraternal twin sisters. Since Dagr noticeably shows off her shoulder and large chest via her cleavage, this implies Dagr is proud of showing off her looks.
* SecretArt:
** Her regular version and New Year Duo Dagr & Nótt has Sun-Twin Wing exclusive to them, where if they are at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, they inflict -5 Spd/Def on their foe during combat, and allows them to ignore any skills that deny any of the user's follow-up attacks and guarantee the foe's follow-up attacks. Her regular version also learns Sun-Twin Wing+, where if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, she inflict -5 Atk/Spd/Def on their foe during combat, allows her to ignore any skills that deny any of the user's follow-up attacks and guarantee the foe's follow-up attacks, boosts damage deal by 20% of her Spd during combat, and ignore 50% of the foe's non-Special DamageReduction skills.
** Wind Dagr has Twin-Sky Wing, where it grant her [Pathfinder][[note]]allows any allies passing though the user's space to more 1 more space, but the space the user is occupying must be able to be moved on by that ally's movement type[[/note]], grants the [Pathfinder] status effect to her support partner at the start of her turn, but does not grant it if there is more than 1 copy of that support partner, and allows her to inflict -5 Spd/Def on the foe during combat and ignore skills that guarantees the foe's follow-up attacks and deny any of her follow-up attacks if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
* SiblingTeam: Dagr is paired up with her twin sister Nótt as a Duo unit with their New Year variant.
* SituationalDamageAttack: Her regular version's Sun-Twin Wing+ allows her to deal damage equal to 20% of her Spd during combat if she is at 25% HP ot above at the start of combat, so the more Spd she has the more damage she will deal. The unique refine for her Skinfaxi also boosts her damage equal to 10% of her Atk during combat if she either initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, so the more Atk she has the more damage she will deal.
* SoreLoser: She acts like this briefly after her defeat at the hands of Reginn and the Order of Heroes in Book V Chapter 4.
-->''"Huh... Guess I lose! You guys really are super strong. No fair! Boooo!"''
* SpellBlade: Her regular version has Atk/Spd Hexblade, which gives her [Hexblade] at the start of her turn if she is within 2 spaces of a Tome-wielding ally, where [Hexblade] allows the user to target the lower of the foe's defenses.
* SpannerInTheWorks: [[spoiler:She unintentionally becomes this to Nótt in Book V Chapter 5, where her SpottingTheThread about not seeing a single soldier on the way and find all of them where Nótt is gives plenty of warning to the Order of Heroes that Nótt does not intend to give them Gramr at all, and instead tries to invoke SlainInTheirSleep. However, it still isn't enough in the end as Ótr, whom Nótt is cooperating with, manages to get away with both Gramr and the Summoner.]]
* SpottingTheThread: In Book V Chapter 5, Dagr notices that [[spoiler:on her way to Nótt, she hasn't seen a single Jötunheimr soldier in the forts leading up to the castle. Dagr then figures out that Nótt never intends to give Gramr to the Order of Heroes, instead setting up an ambush for them instead.]]
* StatusBuff:
** Her regular variant's Skinfaxi gives her +5 Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat as well as bonuses equal to double her field stat debuffs she has at the start of combat, where for example if she has -7 Atk and -5 Def, she gains an additional +14 Atk and +10 Def during combat, effectively gaining an additional +5 Atk and +7 Def during combat. Skinfaxi also has [Pathfinder], where it allows her allies to move one more extra space if they go through the tile she occupies, but does not work if the tile she is standing on cannot be traversed by other movement types, such as forest tiles for Cavalry units, where the refined version gives this status effect to her support partner at the start of her turn, but only if 1 is deployed with her. She also has has Atk/Spd Push 4, which allows her to gain +7 Atk/Spd during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, but deals 5 damage to her after combat if she attacked, Atk/Spd Hexblade, which gives her the [Hexblade] status effect at the start of her turn if she is within 2 spaces of a Tome-wielding ally and +7 Atk/Spd during combat if she has a [Bonus] effect active on her, and Even Tempest 3, where at the start of even turns, she gains +1 movement for one turn.
** As a Mythic Hero of Light, if an ally has an Light Blessing during Light season in Aether Raids, she gives them +5 HP/Res if they're on the battlefield, which can be stacked with other Mythic Heroes of Light, including copies of herself.
** New Year Duo Dagr & Nótt's Duo Skill allows them to grant +6 Atk/Spd/Def/Res and the [Pathfinder] status effect to themselves and any allies within 5 rows and 5 columns centered on them when it triggers, where [Pathfinder] allows the any allies passing through the space of the user to move one more space, with the restriction being that the terrain the user is on is passable by that ally's movement type, such as woods are passable by Infantry, Armored, and Flying allies, but not Cavalry units. They also have Atk/Spd Push 4, which allows them to gain +7 Atk/Spd during combat if they are at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, but deals 5 damage to them after combat if they attacked.
** Her Wind variant's Fujin Uchiwa grants her +5 Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat and additional Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat equal to the highest of either her or her foe's field stat buffs on each stat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat. She also has Atk/Spd Clash 4, where it gives him +6 Atk/Spd during combat if she or her foe initiated combat and moved from a different space, and additional +1 Atk/Spd during combat for each space moved, up to +4 additional Atk/Spd during combat, and Atk/Spd Alarm, where she gains +6 Atk/Spd and [Canto (1)] if she is adjacent to 2 or less allies at the start of her turn and +3 Atk/Spd during combat if there is at most 1 ally adjacent to her.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: Her regular version's attire shows off her navel as well as showing off her bare toned shoulders and inner thighs, while at the same time wearing skin-tight sleeves and leggings to show off her muscles underneath.
* ThemeNaming:
** Dagr is a jötun who is the personification of day in Norse Mythology. Fittingly, she is also a Mythic Hero of Light.
** Skinfaxi[[note]]"shining mane" in Old Norse[[/note]] is the horse that Dagr uses to pull his chariot and is known to light the sky and earth with his mane in Norse Mythology.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The Tomboy compared to her twin Nótt.
* {{Valkyries}}: While not actually being a valkyrie herself, her design is inspired by the many adaptation of Valkyries in eastern fiction, being lightly armored, having a FeatherMotif, exposing some skin, and being badass warriors.
* TheUnfavorite: Compared to Nótt. Their mother seems to focus on Nótt more than Dagr, which drives a rift between them and later turns into a rivalry, especially when the inheritance of the throne seems to be in Nótt's favor, driving Dagr into trying to prove herself to her mother that she's the worthier heir, eventually giving her the idea that defeating the Order of Heroes and Reginn is the best way to prove to their mother that she is stronger than Nótt in Book V Chapter 4.
* VocalDissonance: Despite her tall and muscular figure, she has a voice more fitting of an energetic teenage girl.

----
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul: Nótt in original Norse Mythology is sometimes mentioned to be the mother of Dagr, while other times not be related to him at all. In ''Heroes'' the both of them are twin sisters instead.
* AmazonianBeauty: Not as obvious as Dagr, but she still shows off some muscle on her biceps and thighs.
* ArtShift: In her and Dagr's appearance in the Book V opening, they're rendered in 2D with sharp cel shading, and have lower framerates in their animation in comparison to the rest of the opening, which is rendered in 3D.
* CleavageWindow: Her dress reveals her cleavage.
* CoolBigSis: PlayedForLaughs in Chapter 9, where after Dagr says she'll be a big sister to Reginn, Nótt snarks that Reginn can go to ''her'' instead for a big sister.
* CounterAttack: Her playable version has Distant Counter, where she can counterattack foes, regardless of range.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff: Her Moon-Twin Wing allows her to inflict -5 Atk/Spd on the foe during combat if she was at 25% HP or above at the start of combat. She also has Atk/Spd Menace where, in addition to giving her +6 Atk/Spd at the start of her turn, inflicts -6 Atk/Spd on the nearest foe if there is a foe within 4 spaces of her at the start of her turn.
* DamageReduction: Her Moon-Twin Wing, in addition to inflicting -5 Atk/Spd on the foe during combat, reduces damage taken from the foe's attacks and non-Røkkr AOE specials by 4% for every point of Spd she has over her foe, up to 40% damage reduced, if she was at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Nótt is a Mythic Hero of Dark, but she genuinely means well, siding with the Order of Heroes after defeating her in combat.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Pun aside, she alongside Dagr appear in the Book V movie, long before her official appearance in the game.
* EasilyForgiven: [[spoiler:At the end of Book V Chapter 5, after her defeat at Dagr's hands, despite cooperating with Ótr to give him both Gramr and the Summoner and turning her blade against her sister Dagr and the Order of Heroes while knowing that she was being manipulated but still love-struck with him, Dagr brushes over that and instead asks her to aid the Order of Heroes instead to compensate, with the Order of Heroes apparently being fine with that in the chapter ending.]]
* {{Expy}}: Design-wise, of [[VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses Seiros]]. Both have long braided light green hair, wield a curvy sword, wear metal headwear, white dress, shinguards and sandals, and are high ranking members of their society in their home games.
* FatalFlaw: As Dagr points out in Book V Chapter 5, she has a bad habit of falling for any good looking man she sees. This causes major problems as she falls in love with [[spoiler:''Ótr, the freaking prince of Niðavellir,'' who manages to easily manipulate her into giving him Gramr and the Summoner by ''promising to marry her.'']]
* {{Foil}}: While the both of them are {{Lightning Bruiser}}s with the special Dragon Fang and weapons that give them +3 Spd, [Pathfinder] and +5 Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat and B skills that inflict -5 Spd and one other stat on the foe during combat as well as another effect usually only exclusive to Infantry units if they're at 25% HP or more at the start of combat, both Nótt and Dagr play in different ways, which is reflected with their default skills, with Nótt focusing on defense:
** Nótt wields Lances, where NaginataAreFeminine, while Dagr wields Axes, usually used by strong male units in ''Fire Emblem'' and invoking BrutishCharacterBrutishWeapon.
** Nótt is a Mythic Hero of Dark and gives +5 HP/Def to all allies with the Dark Blessing on Dark seasons, and therefore is a Defense unit in Aether Raids, while Dagr is a Mythic Hero of Light and gives +5 HP/Res to all allies with the Light Blessing on Light seasons, and therefore is a Offense unit in Aether Raids.
** Nótt's Hrímfaxi allows her to get stronger with more bonuses to her stats during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, making her reliant on buffs, while Dagr's Skinfaxi allows her to get stronger if she is inflicted with penalties on her stats.
** Nótt has Distant Counter as her A skill, which allows her to counterattack her foe regardless of their range, making her great on the enemy phase, while Dagr has Atk/Spd Push 4 as her A skill to give her stronger offenses at the cost of 5 HP.
** Nótt Moon-Twin Wing as her B skill, which allows her to inflict -5 Atk/Spd and allows her to reduce damage taken from her foe's attacks and non-Røkkr AOE specials by 4% for every point of Spd she has over her foe, up to 40% if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, allowing her take less damage from her foes, while Dagr's Sun-Twin Wing allows her to inflict -5 Spd/Def on the foe during combat as well as have Null Follow-Up if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat to take down foes with ease.
** Nótt has Atk/Spd Menace as her C skill, which allows herself to gain +6 Atk/Spd and inflict -6 Atk/Spd to the nearest foe at the start of her turn if there is a foe within 4 spaces of her, allowing her to buff herself and debuff foes in a large range and allowing another ally with large range to take the debuff foe down, while Dagr has Even Tempest to give her +1 movement at the start of even turns to give her larger attack range.
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: Subverted. She initially comes off as the Responsible to Dagr's Foolish when Dagr attacks the Askr party to prove that she is stronger than Nótt and earn her place as Queen of Jötunheimr while Nótt is peaceful and cooperative towards you. [[spoiler:Then she's easily manipulated by Ótr into giving him Gramr and the Summoner after the beginning of Book V Chapter 5.]]
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:She takes a hit from Dragon Fáfnir's attack intended for her sister Dagr, eventually dying to her wounds in Book V Chapter 12.]]
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler:In Book V Chapter 12 she dies protecting her sister Dagr from Dragon Fáfnir's attack.]]
* LightningBruiser: She has by default fantastic Atk at 41 and Spd at 40, and average HP at 40, but below average Def at 28 and Res at 27. The latter however is bolstered by her Hrímfaxi giving her stats during combat if she is healthy enough. Her Moon-Twin Wing also inflicts -5 Atk/Spd on her opponent and gives her Spd based DamageReduction up to 40%, if she's above 25% HP, both of which add to her bulk, making her harder to take down.
* LoveMakesYouDumb: Book V Chapter 5 reveals that she has a huge crush on [[spoiler:''Ótr, the prince of Niðavellir'', to the point that she would abandon the throne for his hand in marriage. Ótr exploits this to get what he wants, that being Gramr and the Summoner, and as a direct result hinders the efforts of the Order of Heroes into defeating Fáfnir.]]
* NaginatasAreFeminine: To contrast her sister Dagr, who is more of a tomboy and wields axes, Nótt wields lances.
* NobleBirdOfPrey: She is accompanied by a giant one, who is also covered in full armor.
* TheOjou: Her personality is more gentle and demure, in contrast to her tomboyish sister Dagr.
* PassiveAggressiveKombat: She tends to act dismissive and condescending to Dagr, whereas Dagr is more openly insulting.

''"You offend me."''
* PromotedToPlayable: She was released as a Mythic Hero in early-June 2021, which was midway through Book V.
* SerialRomeo: Dagr claims that Nótt has a habit of falling in love with any half-decent looking man if they even as much as glance at her. This becomes a problem when her most recent target is [[spoiler:''the prince of Niðavellir Ótr''...]]
* SecretArt: She has Twin-Moon Wing exclusive to her, where if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, she inflict -5 Atk/Spd on the foe during combat and reduces damage taken from the foe's attacks and non-Røkkr AOE specials by 4% for every point of Spd she has over her foe, up to 40% damage reduced.
* SorryThatImDying: [[spoiler:Apologizes to Dagr as Dagr begs her to pull through]].
* StatusBuff:
** Her Hrímfaxi gives her +5 Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat as well as bonuses equal to her field stat buffs she has at the start of combat, where for example if she has +6 Atk and +4 Def, she gains an additional +6 Atk and +4 Def during combat. Hrímfaxi also has [Pathfinder], where it allows her allies to move one more extra space if they go through the tile she occupies, but does not work if the tile she is standing on cannot be traversed by other movement types, such as forest tiles for Cavalry units.
** She has Atk/Spd Menace where, in addition to inflicting -6 Atk/Spd to the nearest foe, allows her to gain +6 Atk/Spd at the start of her turn if there is a foe within 4 spaces of her.
** As a Mythic Hero of Dark, if an ally has a Dark Blessing during Dark season in Aether Raids, she gives them +5 HP/Def if they're on the battlefield, which can be stacked with other Mythic Heroes of Dark, including copies of herself.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: Her dress shows off her cleavage as well as showing off her bare toned biceps and thighs.
* TakingTheBullet: [[spoiler:In Book V Chapter 12, while Dagr is defending Reginn from Dragon Fáfnir's attack, Nótt instead takes the hit for Dagr and eventually dies because of it, but not before telling Dagr that she will become a great queen for Jötunheimr.]]

* HiddenAgendaVillain: So far, virtually nothing is known about their motives or goals aside from some vague hints that they're "monitoring fate". It's not even clear if the aesir are actually truly villainous, or are simply testing Askr for some yet unknown purpose.
* PurpleIsPowerful: Another main color scheme in Thórr and Loki's outfits, especially Loki's, to show off their divinity. Both of their special arts also have purple as the color scheme of their magic. Because of this, it's also implied that they are behind 2022's Young Tellius banner "Unlikely Friends", as each unit there wields some weapon that has a purple gem embedded into it.

* GreaterScopeVillain: He is implied to be the overarching villain of the game, since he's the one who antagonists Thórr and Loki are taking orders from. However, it's unclear what his agenda is at present and if it opposes that of the Order of Heroes.
* HeroKiller: [[spoiler:Subverted. Freyja claims that she killed Alfonse after the events of Book III but it quickly turns out she is lying to mess with the Summoner.]]
* TheMaker: Is stated by Loki to be the creator of everything in their world. Freyja also refers to him as the Creator.
* NotSoOmniscientAfterAll: The Twilit Runes he wrote are claimed to be absolute and the events they foretell ''will'' happen, and ''cannot'' be averted. [[spoiler:The finale of Ice & Flame calls this into question when Fjorm and Laegjarn explicitly defy the Runes by defeating Muspell.]]
* OneSteveLimit: Because "Odin" [[Characters/FireEmblemFatesNohrRetainersAndOthers was already taken]], he is instead called "Alfaðör", one of the many names of Odin in Norse Mythology.

* AFormYouAreComfortableWith: After shifting between multiple appearances to demonstrate her power, she ultimately settles on appearing as Anna before appearing in her true form in Book II.
* AffablyEvil: She remains rather casual in her manner of speaking throughout the story, be it when explaining her motives for creating the Tempest, or [[spoiler:happily dragging Veronica off to be sacrificed for the Rite of Flames.]]
* AlternateSelf: The Loki you summon is a different one from the one you face in the story, as the alternate Loki states at the end of Paralogue 26 and in her castle quotes.
-->'''Loki:''' If the Loki of this world is your enemy, then I will be your ally. [[ItAmusedMe That should keep things interesting!]]
* AmbiguousGender: Loki's namesake from Myth/NorseMythology is male, though he shapeshifted and changed sexes seemingly without a care. No pronouns were used for Loki for a good while. [[https://twitter.com/FEHeroes_News/status/930657839650971648 The new artwork included in the Book II update]] finally removes the ambiguity: ''she'' is a girl, and a very busty one at that.
* AmbiguouslyHuman: For a long while, it was all but implicitly spelled out that she's a deity:
** In Paralogue 26, Aversa states that Loki gives off an eerie vibe that is comparable to '''Grima''', potentially hinting that Loki may not be actually human at all, and potentially much more sinister than she seems at first glance.
** In her level 40 confession, she says that Breidablik has too much power to be put in the hands "of a human".
** In the closing of the "A Promise of Joy" Tempest Trial, she offhandedly says "you mortals" in a conversation with Helbindi.
** In the Paralogue "Heavenly Witness", Loki's equal Thórr is outright referred to as "war god" by Líf.
** Finally any ambiguity was put to rest when her summer duo version with Thórr was released, with the characters saying that they're both gods.
* BalanceBuff: Her regular variant's Thökk received a refinement in update 6.0.0 in December 2021, where Thökk, initially inflicting [Gravity] to all ranged foes with 3 or more less HP than her within cardinal directions of her at the start of her turn, now lowers that requirement to just having more HP than those foes with the addition of inflicting -7 Res, as well as inflicting the [Stall] status and -7 Atk to melee units who have less HP than her within the same range, and the unique refine allows her to inflict the [Guard] status to the foe with the lowest Spd and any foes adjacent to that target, and gives her +4 Atk/Spd during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: She seemed to care somewhat for Veronica, [[spoiler:but Book II Chapter 8 shows she's unfazed by Surtr torturing her, and happily drags her along to be sacrificed for the Rite of Flames, although she might have been worried about her because she was going to be killed too quickly before being properly sacrificed. However, in Book II Chapter 12, she hopes for the Askr army to save her, as she feels that having Veronica go to waste would disappoint her]]. This extends to her allies as well, as she acts somewhat aloof but caring, but absolutely doesn't hesitate to throw them aside for her own power.
* BookEnds: A rather enigmatic battle of her comes out of absolutely nowhere at the start of Book IV. The very last map of Book IV? [[spoiler:A rather enigmatic battle of her that comes out of absolutely nowhere, with no explanation due to the fact she got away after she's defeated]].
* BreakingTheFourthWall: One of Loki's quotes in her normal version is "Looking forward to what I'll say next?", which is something that many players would do upon collecting a new Hero: Trying to hear all of their voice lines.
* CombatMedic: She's a healer who can also fight back at full power thanks to her personal staff and high offenses.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff: Her regular variant's refined Thökk allows her to inflict -7 Res to all ranged foes with less HP than her within cardinal directions at the start of her turn.
* DemotedToExtra: After Book II in which she played a significant role, Loki only appeared in brief moments in future Books, usually as an instigator, before leaving without giving much explanation. She doesn't make a single appearance in Books VI and VII, to drive the point home.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Loki's "Spring Trickster" version with her in a bunny leotard has her sticking a long, carrot-tipped arrow between her lips making a sucking expression. One of her English quotes also has her note that rabbits are famous for something other than eating carrots, while leaving the answer up to imagination. (Subverted in the Japanese version, where she specifically gushes over how many children they have).
* TheDragon: She serves an unknown "king", later revealed to be Surtr, and offers his support to Veronica in exchange for [[spoiler:the tome of [[VideoGame/FireEmblemTheSacredStones Naglfar]]]]. [[spoiler:In the intro of the Røkkr Sieges, she actually serves Alfaðör.]]
* DragonWithAnAgenda: As the ''Loki's Flames'' Tempest Trials reveals, she is not really loyal to the Múspell king Surtr, only assisting him to serve her own purposes. She only fights for him because they both want to destroy Askr, and even then, Loki is willing to go behind Surtr's back if it suits her better. [[spoiler:Which she does at the end of Chapter 12 Book II, by helping the Order of Heroes find Veronica and Surtr, being more interested in the final battle than serving him at all.]]
* EvenEvilHasStandards:
** Downplayed; Loki seems quite upset when Surtr discloses that [[spoiler:he plans to conquer Embla and kill Veronica once he's burnt Askr to the ground. Then it's subverted in Book II Chapter 8 when she doesn't actually care that Veronica gets tortured by him, only to be DoubleSubverted when she'll be disappointed with Surtr killing off Veronica, thinking that it would be a waste to just let her die.]]
** Seemingly played straight in Book V, Chapter 10, [[spoiler:where she destroys Eitri's false Breidablik in Embla, stating that Eitri's hubris has gone too far, and that she defies the will of Alfaðör.]]
* TheGadfly: True to her epithet, Loki loves screwing with people and messing with their heads, whether they be enemy or ally alike, apparently for no reason other than her own amusement.
* GravityMaster: Her personal staff inflicts the Gravity effect on ranged enemies in cardinal directions of her so long as her HP is at least 3 points higher at the start of her turn. Notably, it's the only weapon that can inflict the Gravity status without needing the user to directly engage in combat.
* HartmanHips: Implied but largely obscured by her normal attire, which features a long and flowing slitted skirt. Her Spring Festival bunny leotard lacks this coverage and leaves her upper legs totally bare, revealing that she in fact has huge thighs and extremely wide hips.
* TheHeavy: The one manipulating nearly every Story Arc.
* HistoricalGenderFlip: Loki is male in Norse Mythology. However, in ''Heroes'', Loki is a busty, pink-haired lady.
* HolidayMode: Her Spring variant wears a PlayboyBunny outfit and wields a bow that fire carrot-tipped arrows.
* {{Immortality}}: The intro of the Pawns of Loki mode heavily implies [[spoiler:that she and Thórr are both immortal and cannot die by normal means.]]
* InterfaceSpoiler:
** A quick hint that something is wrong is that when she first appears in Xenologue 2 impersonating Bruno, her name is marked as "???" even though the Mysterious Man has been going by his true name for some time.
** In the Catalog of Heroes, [[spoiler:she is listed ''after'' the Múspell characters, rather than among them, hinting that she is not actually from Múspell. She is also listed ''after'' the characters from Hel, implying that she's not native to Hel either.]]
* ItAmusedMe: Her main M.O. When Masked Marth confronts her about creating the Tempest, she explains that the reason why she did it was because she's bored, and chaos is more interesting than peace. Hell, she would even go against ''herself'' to make things more interesting.
* KickTheDog: At the end of the ''Loki's Flame'' Tempest Trials, she tells a spying Laevatein that she's actually her mother, then proceeds to mock her for thinking it was true. Her reason? Just to be cruel to an obviously [[IJustWantToBeLoved hurt]] Laevatein.
* {{Leitmotif}}: Although she shares a battle theme with the Múspell bosses, she has [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCP2CwPY7eY her own]] unique theme that plays during some of her encounters.
* LadyOfBlackMagic: An aloof and sultry female staff unit with excellent offensive stats. In-story, she can cast powerful illusions.
* LukeIAmYourFather: She tells Laevatein that she's her mother, [[SubvertedTrope only to immediately admit that she's just messing with her]].
* MagicStaff: Her exclusive staff Thökk, which has the Wrathful Staff effect built in[[note]]deals full damage instead of half damage like the other staves[[/note]]. Additionally, if her HP (minus 3) is greater than or equal to that of enemies with bows, daggers, tomes, or staves in cardinal directions of her at the start of her turn, they can only move 1 space. Her refined Thökk allows her to inflict [Gravity] and -7 Res to all ranged foes within cardinal directions of her if they have less HP than her, as well as inflicting the [Stall] status and -7 Atk to melee units who have less HP than her within the same range, and the unique refine allows her to inflict the [Guard] status to the foe with the lowest Spd and any foes adjacent to that target, and gives her +4 Atk/Spd during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
* MasterOfIllusion: She can appear as practically anyone without a problem, and comments on how Veronica "saw through her illusions so quickly." This would have become Masked Marth's downfall in the ''Shrouded by the Storm'' Tempest Trials if the real Fjorm hadn't shown up in time. [[spoiler:It's also how she nearly fools everyone on the Askr side by disguising herself as Fjorm's younger sister Ylgr until she is discovered in Book II Chapter 12.]]
* MeaningfulName: Loki's weapon is named Thökk. In Myth/NorseMythology, Thökk was the Jötun and the one being in all creation who refused to cry for Baldr, preventing him from being resurrected by Hel. It is believed that Thökk was Loki in disguise.
* TheMole: [[spoiler:In the guise of Ylgr, she infiltrates the Order of Heroes and feeds information to Múspell.]]
* MsFanservice: Her true form is that of a sultry woman who can give the likes of Camilla and Aversa a run for their money, complete with a {{stripperiffic}} outfit and ''quite'' a bust via a NavelDeepNeckline and some of her back via SexyBacklessOutfit.
* NavelDeepNeckline: Her outfit has a plunging neckline that ends on her stomach.
* MurderTheHypotenuse: {{Downplayed|trope}}, but in the "Dueling Desires" Forging Bonds, the playable Loki would go against Aversa if it means being the only one to gain the Summoner's attention, claiming to be more powerful than her. It wasn't until the Summoner was kidnapped that they both work together and her grudge towards Aversa is dropped.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: She's named after Loki, the trickster god from Myth/NorseMythology who is generally portrayed as evil.
* PostFinalBoss: [[spoiler:For Book IV; you fight her in the final part of Chapter 13, after defeating [[ArcVillain Freyja]] in the previous level. Interestingly, she and all her goons that appear in Book IV Chapter 13-5 are a lower level than all the other parts of Book IV Chapter 13 on all difficulties.]]
* PreMortemOneLiner:
-->''"So lovely."'' (regular)\\
''"I'll show you paradise!"'' (regular)\\
''"Come with me, to your grave!"'' (regular)\\
''"Don't enjoy this too much."'' (regular)\\
''"Spring is here!"'' (''Regal Rabbits'')\\
''"Welcome to spring!"'' (''Regal Rabbits'')\\
''"All warm and fuzzy."'' (''Regal Rabbits'')\\
''"Let's have some fun."'' (''Regal Rabbits'')
* PromotedToPlayable: She became summonable with the Brave Redux banner, released after the end of Book II.
* PutOnABus: Besides of a very minor appearance at the beginnings of Books 3 and 4 ([[spoiler:along with its ending]]), Loki stopped appearing altogether in the main story - although Røkkr Sieges does dive into her true allegiance. She still makes occasional appearances in Paralogue chapters though.
* RedemptionDemotion: Well, "redemption" is questionable, but the playable Loki has slightly lower base Defense and Resistance than the one fought in the story maps.
* TheReveal:
** In the ''Loki's Flames'' Tempest Trials, her comment about [[spoiler:not being able to stand the heat implies that she's not actually from Múspell]], and Laegjarn observes that Loki has a hidden purpose in assisting Surtr.
** In the intro of Røkkr Sieges, [[spoiler:it's revealed she is actually in league with Thórr, but more importantly who she is serving: Alfaðör.]]
* ScrewDestiny: [[spoiler:Loki is the one who told Múspell about the Twilit Runes and how he is prophetized to win in the war between him and Nifl. When Thórr asks why she would even do that, Loki says that she finds the idea of fate playing out exactly as planned to be a bit dull, so he told him about the text to see if fate would play out differently with him having prior knowledge.]]
* SquishyWizard: Loki sports excellent offensive stats along with decent HP and Resistance stats, but middling Defense. This means strong physical attackers pose the biggest threat to her.
* StalkerWithACrush: The Loki you summon is ''very'' interested in the Summoner, stating that she would like to be all yours for all eternity.
* StatusBuff:
** The unique refine for her regular variant's Thökk grants her +4 Atk/Spd during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat. She also has Odd Atk Wave, which gives her and any adjacent allies +6 Atk at the start of odd-numbered turns, and Earthwater Balm+, which gives all her allies +6 Def/Res after she uses her healing assist skill until the start of their next turn.
** Her Spring variant's Beguiling Bow+ grants her +2 Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat if the foe is at full HP at the start of combat. She also has Goad Fliers, which gives +4 Atk/Spd to all flying allies within 2 spaces of her during combat.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: Her ordinary outfit already leaves one of her legs almost completely uncovered, and has a very low neckline, all of which gets more emphasized in her damaged art where her back is shown totally exposed as well. Taken to the extreme with her Spring outfit - Loki is the only female character whose Spring costume does not totally cover her legs, instead leaving her thighs and upper legs fully exposed to make her leotard more pronounced. The outfit also features extremely deep cleavage, exposed shoulders, and is so tight her navel shows through.
* TheTease: She often teases others, speaking in double entendres. She even goes as far as to joke with Laevatein that she might be her mother. Loki's Spring art also features her seductively biting on an arrow with her bow held behind her back. Taken to the extreme with one of her quotes in her Bunny Leotard, where she teases the player about rabbits being famous for something "besides eating carrots" (namely, [[ExplosiveBreeder their intense and frequent reproduction]]). The Japanese line has her flat-out mention without context that rabbits have lots of children, teasing the player about what her intentions might be.
* TeamMom: Seems to greatly desire being this, and often treats others like they are children as a result. While pretending to work under Surtr, she serves as his tactician - basically giving her an advisory role like a parent might have. When speaking to Laevatein, she jokingly claims that she is Laevatein's mother, at the expense of the latter's feelings. Her Book II, Tempest Trial, and Paralogue actions all involve her manipulating other characters' situations or knowledge to see what they'll do as a result, treating the heroes like children that she enjoys watching play. Finally, when she appears in her bunny leotard as part of the Regal Rabbits banner, she gushes about how many children rabbits have in one of her Japanese quotes. In spite of all this, she has still sided with villains in the past for unknown reasons - greatly undermining whatever maternal qualities she might have (or want to have).
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The Girly Girl to Thórr's Tomboy.
* VillainExitStageLeft: [[spoiler:After she is defeated for the final time in Book II Chapter 12, she gives the heroes a map to Surtr's location and leaves, content to watch the outcome from the sidelines.]]
* WakeUpCallBoss: If you think Clerics are not threatening, Loki's introduction in Book II will probably change your opinion. In addition to her high stats, her staff Thökk has the Wrathful effect and Gravity Ploy built in to let her deal heavy damage and restrict movement, on top of being able to heal tons of damage with assists such as Physic+, Recover+, and Restore+, and let's not get to when she has Dazzling Staff equipped.
* WhoWantsToLiveForever: [[spoiler:It's heavily implied that her immortality is the reason behind her actions and desire for chaos, as she becomes incredibly ''bored'' otherwise.]]

->''"Don't toy with me, Loki. There is work to be done, yet you play, knowing full well your duties are far too important to ignore."''

An aesir warrior who is regarded by the mortals as the god of war. She works with Loki, both of whom serve the creator of everything. In late-November 2021, she was released as a Mythic Hero of Astra.

->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/RinaSato (Japanese), Creator/LailaBerzins (English)\\
'''Artist:''' Shigeki Maeshima\\
'''Class:''' Axe Flier (regular), Blue Flier (Taken by the Tide)
----
* AchillesHeel: For a WarGod, you wouldn't expect Thórr to be weak against ''arrows'', but because she is classified as a Flying unit due to PowerFloats, she takes extra damage against Bows (and certain Tomes) in ''Heroes''.
* ActionInitiative:
** Her regular version's War-God Mjölnir allows her to have a guaranteed follow-up attack if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
** Her playable regular version has Flow Guard, where, in addition to inflicting -1 special buildup on the foe per attack, allows her to ignore skills that deny any of her follow-up attacks if she initiates combat.
* AdaptationDyeJob: Instead of being a redhead in the original mythology and blond in modern fiction, Thórr here has dark green hair.
* AmazonianBeauty: While she's much more covered up than Loki, her dress clings to her body and shows that her stomach is well-built and toned. Her attacking art shows her legs to be similarly stout and firm, and her chest still appears to be every bit as big as Loki's. Unsurprisingly, she wields a massive axe with her well-honed body.
* AntiArmor: Her regular version's War-God Mjölnir allows her to deal effective damage against Armored units. Considering that Mjölnir is a hammer in Norse Mythology, this makes sense.
* BaritoneOfStrength: Fitting for a war goddess, her Japanese and English voice actors play her with low, husky tones.
%%zce* CoDragons: She and Loki are this to Alfaðör.
* CooldownManipulation:
** Her regular version War-God Mjölnir grants her -1 maximum special cooldown.
** Her playable regular version inflicts the Inverted variant with Flow Guard, which, in addition to allowing her to ignore skills that deny any of her follow-up attacks, allows her to inflict -1 special buildup on the foe per attack if she initiates combat.
** Her playable regular and Summer Duo variant has Worldbreaker, which allows her to give +1 special buildup per attack to herself and any allies within 2 spaces of her during combat.
** Summer Duo Thórr & Loki's Divine Whimsy gives them -1 special cooldown at the start of their turn if they're within 2 spaces of an ally.
* DamageIncreasingDebuff: Summer Duo Thórr & Loki inflicts the [Exposure] status effect on the slowest foe and foes within 2 spaces of that unit at the start of their turn, where those inflicted by it receive 10 extra damage per attack during combat. They also have A/R Far Trace, which inflicts -3 Atk/Res on the foe during combat.
* TheDragon: Alfaðör's most loyal general.
* TheDividual: Summer Duo Thórr & Loki has the both of them operate as one unit.
* FinalBoss: Of the "Ice & Flame 5" Tempest Trials+ event for Regular Thórr, and the "Life & Death 1" Tempest Trials+ event for Summer Duo Thórr & Loki.
* FinishingMove: Her finishing attack has her throw her axe high and flip in front of her, then she moves forward and telepathically catches it above her head and spins in before catching it with both her hands and slamming her axe down on her foe.
* GoingCommando: Unlike Loki, who clearly wears pantyhose that are visible due to her dress barely covering her, Thórr doesn't seem to wear any underwear at all, as her attacking and especially her damaged art show off so much leg and hip that it should be visible by that point. Specifically, her damaged art tears her dress and reveals her legs up past where her crotch is with not a shred of fabric under her dress in sight. [[SubvertedTrope However]], her concept art shows that she's wearing a LeotardOfPower underneath her dress.
* HerdHittingAttack: Her Summer Duo version comes with Blazing Thunder, an AOE Special that deals damage based on her Atk x 1.5 minus the foe's Res in a vertical line before actually entering combat. Combined with her CooldownManipulation abilities and her Exposure affliction, she can consistently bring down the thunder every turn.
* HiddenBuxom: Zigzagged. She dresses quite conservatively with barely any cleavage on display, and compared to Loki might as well look like she's dressed like a nun by comparison. But her attacking art, which has her raise her arms above her head and puff her chest out as a result, and her damaged art, which very slightly tears the top of her dress, shows that her breasts actually spill out of her dress in certain poses and are just barely contained by it. Her damaged art implies her boobs are even bigger than Loki's with her showing off much deeper cleavage even just from a side view, but their Summer Duo variants shows that they both share the same cup size.
* HistoricalGenderFlip: Thórr in Norse mythology is known as a male with long red hair with a full beard. In ''Heroes'', she's a green haired busty lady.
* HistoricalInJoke: Thórr here being female is pretty hilarious, considering in one of the stories of Norse Mythology, Thor, with the help of Loki, had to be DisguisedInDrag while pretending to be Freyja in order to get Mjölnir back, due to the Jötun stealing it and demanding that Freyja marries their leader if Thor wants Mjölnir returned.
* HitAndRunTactics: Summer Duo Thórr & Loki have A/R Far Trace, which, in addition to inflicting -3 Atk/Res on the foe during combat, gives them [Canto (Rem.)], which allows them to move spaces equal to the remainder of the spaces they did not use yet after taking an action once per turn.
* IGaveMyWord: The summonable Thórr makes it clear that she is here because she made a bet with Loki which she lost, and now has to do something for her. While this is a temporary arrangement and warns you that she might turn against you if Alfaðör wills it, she at least wants to honor her promise.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Summer Duo Thórr & Loki has Thórr wield a folding fan as a tome. Said fan gives her -1 maximum special cooldown, inflicts [Exposure] and [Stall] on the slowest foe and foes within 2 spaces of that foe at the start of her turn, gives her -1 special cooldown at the start of her turn if she is within 2 spaces of an ally, and if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat she gain +6 Atk and inflicts -6 Atk on the foe during combat.
* InnocentFanserviceGirl: Unlike Loki who is aware of her looks and acts as a tease, their duo summer alt makes it clear Thórr doesn't understand she's attractive to mortals, believing that she's scaring them instead.
* IntriguedByHumanity: Unlike Loki who sees mortals as inferior Thórr seems to think highly of them. In the first Røkkr Siege intro she doesn't approve of Loki speaking ill of those who fall in battle as they gave their all for their ideals. Most of her exchanges with Loki have been about their differing opinions on humanity, with Thórr often telling Loki not to belittle them.
* IWorkAlone: Regular Thórr's War-God Mjölnir neutralizes any field stat buffs active on her foe during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat and is not adjacent to any ally.
* LetsFightLikeGentlemen: When Thórr invades Askr with tens of millions of soldiers in the Mjölnir's Strike game mode, she tells Alfonse and the others about the Midgard's Shield which will allow them to potentially withstand the attack. This trope might also be the in-game justification for the 'Brace' phase.
* LeotardOfPower: Concept art shows that Thórr wears a leotard underneath her dress.
* MightyGlacier: Her regular version has outstanding Atk at 44, fantastic Def at 41, good Res at 34, and average HP at 40, but low Spd at 19.
* MsFanservice: She's every bit as attractive as her sister, Loki, boasting large breasts, a very stunning and toned figure, and a dress that nicely showcases her legs, and her Summer variant shows it all off.
* NoNonsenseNemesis: Unlike her sister Loki, Thórr doesn't screw around when it comes to carrying out her plans, as shown in the Mjölnir's Strike mode.
* OneSteveLimit: Her weapon shares the same name as the tome wielded by Ishtar. To differentiate the two, her hammer is called the War-God Mjölnir.
* PowerAtAPrice:
** Her playable regular version has Atk/Def Push 4, where it grants her +7 Atk/Def during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, but deals 5 damage to her if she did received those boosts and performed an attack.
** Summer Duo Thórr & Loki has Still Water 4, where they gain +7 Atk/Res, but are inflicted with -5 Def.
* PowerFloats: Her regular version is seen floating in her animations, and as such she is classified as a Flying unit.
* PreMortemOneLiner:
-->''"Great Mjölnir!"''\\
''"Stay resolute, I'm ready."''\\
''"A warrior is owed respect."''\\
''"Show me your strength."''
* PromotedToPlayable: After over two years of her debut in the game, and later after the end of the ''Ice & Flame 5'' Tempest Trials event, Thórr was finally released as playable in late November 2021.
* SecretArt: She has Worldbreaker as her C skill, which allows her to give +1 special buildup per attack to herself and any allies within 2 spaces of her during combat.
* ShockAndAwe: In the Mjölnir's Strike game mode, like her inspiration, she is shown to have control over lightning.
* SquishyWizard: Her Summer Duo version has oustanding Atk at 43, great Res at 37, and average HP at 40 and Def at 30, but poor Spd at 16. However, what makes them go into this status instead of a MightyGlacier is with their default Still Water 4, which gives them +7 Atk/Res but inflicts -5 Def.
* StatusBuff:
** Her regular version War-God Mjölnir gives her +6 Atk during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat.
** Her playable regular version has Atk/Def Push 4, which allows her to gain +7 Atk/Def during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, but deals 5 damage to her after combat if she attacked.
** As a Mythic Hero of Astra, if an ally has an Astra Blessing during Astra Season in Aether Raids, she gives them +5 HP/Def if they're on the battlefield, which can be stacked with other Mythic Heroes of Astra, including copies of herself.
* StatusBuffDispel: Summer Duo Thórr & Loki's Duo Skill allows them to remove any [Bonus] the foe has active on them within 5 rows or 5 columns when it activates.
* StatusEffects: Summer Duo Thórr & Loki's Divine Whimsy allows them to inflict [Exposure] and [Stall] to the slowest foe and foes within 2 spaces of that unit at the start of their turn, where [Exposure] has the one inflicted with it take 10 extra damage per attack, and [Stall] has the one be inflicted with it move only 1 space if they have a status effect that gives them +1 movement active. Their Duo Skill also inflicts [Gravity] on foes within cardinal directions of them when it activates, where [Gravity] reduces the foe's movement to 1.
* StraightMan: She is this to Loki. In the intro of Røkkr Sieges, while Loki is messing around with the spirits of the dead to create the Røkkr, Thórr detects her schemes and is bound to duty to report about it to their superior, ending with Thórr stating to Loki to focus on their mission.
* SuperEmpowering: She's the reason why the Young variants of Heroes[[labelnote:*]]So far including characters from Archanea (Marth, Caeda, Merric, the Whitewing sisters, and Minerva) Magvel (Eirika, Ephraim, Lyon, L'Arachel, Tana, and Innes), Tellius (Ike, Mist, Soren, Ilyana, Mia, and Boyd), and Elibe (Eliwood, Hector, Lyn, Mark, Rebecca, and Lucius)[[/labelnote]] are powered up.
* ThemeNaming: Thor is the son of Odin and the god of thunder and lightning in Norse Mythology, known to wield the hammer Mjölnir.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The Tomboy to Loki's Girly Girl.
* WarGod: She is proclaimed as a war god by both Líf and herself. Her epithet alone drops this exact trope name.
* WorthyOpponent: She makes it a point to seek out mortals that show "true strength" to her. Notably, in the "Keepers of Faith" Forging Bonds, she's incredibly impressed with the Gatekeeper's [[TheDeterminator sheer determination and refusal to back down]] despite being outmatched and on the brink of collapsing, and outwardly compliments him before she decides that he's worthy enough that she can [[IAmNotLeftHanded stop holding back]].

** Dagr's Skinfaxi allows her to get stronger if she is inflicted with penalties on her stats during combat if she is at 25% HP or above at the start of combat, making her reliant on enemies trying to debuff her, while Nótt Hrímfaxi allows her to get stronger with more bonuses to her stats.

Skinfaxi also has [Pathfinder], where it allows her allies to move one more extra space if they go through the tile she occupies, but does not work if the tile she is standing on cannot be traversed by other movement types, such as forest tiles for Cavalry units.

* DropTheHammer: Like her inspiration, her regular variant wields the hammer War-God Mjölnir with an axe head. Said hammer part is the main reason why she deals effective damage against Armored units.
