Awesome Music / LISA: The Pointless - Scholar of the Wilbur Sin

Go To

Scholar of the Wilbur Sin adds even more awesome songs to the soundtrack from Pointless.

  • "Rangers", Flynt Woodpecker's battle theme. A hard rock remix of "Salvation!" from Painful with some killer riffage.
  • There are four different versions of "Jeffery" in the game (one for fighting Gunther Scourge, one for fighting the Fishman Elder, one for fighting Jacob Mertz, and one for fighting Billiard Esquire, but no matter what speed or pitch it's being played at, those synth riffs are catchy as hell.
  • "Channel 88", a dance track which plays while fighting Milo and his yoga students.
  • "Kids Klan", fittingly enough, plays while fighting the playground kids. It mixes a riff made up of vocal samples that sounds almost like the kids taunting you with awesome bass and synth melodies, and tops it off with a stomping drum beat.
  • "Sun Bleached" plays while fighting Scrawny Davy. Thundering drums and stuttering synths let you know that this is not a man to underestimate... if his opening flamethrower attack didn't tip you off.
  • "Arrow to the Head" from Joyful was already an awesome techno track, but the sped up version that plays while fighting Wily Knight and his gang somehow manages to be even better.
  • "Memories" plays while fighting Francis Gizmo Jr. and his boys. A gloomy track full of distorted, dissonant synths, it fits perfectly with one of the more tragic fights in the game.
  • The game also has a handful of original compositions for several of the major bosses:
    • "Skid Granite", Floyd Burnside's theme. One of the few tracks in the LISA series to be almost pure shredding, and those ominous riffs hammer home just how dangerous Floyd is.
    • "Red Lick", Will Killjoy's theme. A garage rock-influenced track with some great guitar licks.
    • "Our Hammer", the theme of Borislav Ragnarok, the final, secret boss. A mysterious, minimalist electronic track that sounds almost like humming machinery at times.
    • "Death from Above", a new track that will most likely be the new battle theme for the Giant Olathean Condor. A menacing track built around pounding drums, a powerful bass riff, and a synth lick in the background that sounds almost like a siren going off.
    • "Heel Turn" was added to the game with the 1.5 update as Chriss Bellucci's new theme. It's a frenetic, hard-hitting track that suits the pro wrestling theme of his fight just as well as "Bracket" did.
