• The fact that Steve Rogers of all people was able to successfully convince HYDRA that he was on their side.
• A HYDRA agent slaps Bucky after he's awakened from cryofreeze. Steve immediately looms over the agent and says if he does that again, he will break every bone in his body.
• Beck attempts to use the trigger words to awaken the Winter Soldier, but just when he finishes the sequence Tony comes crashing through the wall and restrains him. Steve isn't far behind him.
  • As if the Big Damn Heroes moment wasn't enough, Beck tries giving Bucky an order...and Bucky resists. He broke the programming.
  • Another example of this features when Rumlow stages an assault on the U.N. and frames Bucky just to get access to "the Winter Soldier"... only to learn after he tried to use the trigger words that Bucky broke the programming years ago, so Rumlow went to all that effort for nothing.
