Awesome / Mimi and the Mountain Dragon

Go To

  • Mimi's view of her village when she's halfway up the mountain.
  • Just the very idea of a young girl climbing the highest mountain in (what is implied to be) the Swiss Alps alone in the dead of night just to return a lost child (the baby dragon) to its mother (the mountain dragon) underlines how brave and determined Mimi really is.
  • Mimi pretending to play her wooden flute when the Mountain Dragon is in the act of chasing her away and is seemingly about to attack her. She's practiced so much, she knows the song off by heart enough to hum it while imitating herself actually playing the flute even though it's not in her possession at that point because she dropped it.
    • It gets even better when she actually sings the song to prevent a final confrontation between the villagers and the mountain dragon.
  • The reformed Mountain Dragon flying around the village and melting all the snow with her fire breath after seeing Mimi distraught in the aftermath of the final avalanche.
