The Earth is Unbreakable

When we last left off our sociopathic hero, he flipped Sora off when he healed him only to show off his own healing powers. Why? Do you even care?

Book IV: Earth

We Time Skip three years and I roll my eyes as Kekanu comes up again. He proceeds to make Vash’s life a living hell by murdering everyone he holds dear after the latter tells him that he’ll get revenge for what happened to his brother. Kekanu knows shonen anime logic and proceeds to give Vash even more of a reason to kill him.

Kekanu also disguised himself as Vash, so now he has a reason to be on the run other than “because he killed random people or punched the Emperor of Japan in the face.” So basically it’s Sonic Adventure 2, but with wolves?

Then, when he finally finds Kekanu, Kikyo out of freaking nowhere arrows him. WHY? So what? He’s now Inuvasha? Yeah, this entire sequence of events is basically Inuyasha. But now it’s with Inuvasha. Well, at least until Vash and Kagome break into a museum to retrieve all the crap that Vash had. And of course, he couldn’t get away without pissing off the cops.

But that’s okay. He was able to get away from the cops by using that Ghost vehicle from the Halo series. How did he manage to come across that? That is a very interesting question. Well…

So Kagome is pissed at Inuvasha for the stunt she pulled, but remember, she’s a school girl, so more pressing matters take place. Namely she is due for a report. On wolves. And hey, remember what Vash was originally before all the Toa spirit journey crap happened? Yep. A wolf. So Kagome presents him to the class, and classic Vash that he is, bites off a dude’s hand because he was touching him.

This would most definitely lead to the wolf being apprehended and being put to sleep, but because this is Vash, the worst he got is the fact that he got touched. Also, Vash then torments the student by offering the hand, only to scare him by staring at him.

Suddenly Vash meets wolves and he’s all like “OMG! I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE!” Erm… Vash? Didn’t you already meet wolves who can be humans like you? Whatever… Hopefully this wolf pack doesn’t die off horribly…

Oh wait, these are the dudes from Wolf’s Rain. Never mind. Enjoy them while you can, Vash. So we went from Inuyasha to Wolf’s Rain. Speaking of, Vash tells Kagome that he’s gonna go on the tragically doomed search for Paradise and while she’s upset at this, she apparently understands and lets Vash go. It’s actually kind of nice when you remember that, for the good chunk of Vash’s life, he had no home to go to and Kagome is perhaps one of the only people who managed to give him one. Even if the relationship is more “master and slave” than “owner and pet”.

And both Vash and Cheza, a girl who hangs around with the wolf pack who is really some moon flower in human form, get captured and sent to a lab. Vash reveals his telepathy and manages to let Kiba (the leader) know where he and Cheza are. He also used a satellite to amplify his telepathy… Not sure how the fuck that works, but fuck it, I’ve seen worse.

But yeah, Vash knows where he is and he sees the scientists who tortured him and his family all the way back in Phantom Blood and so Vash murders the fuck out of them. He then destroys the lab and nearly dies in the blast, but then some guy saves him (I’m not sure what the hell happened but apparently Vash and Blade are two separate people?) and Vash is informed that Cheza was worried about him.

Do I detect a ship? Anyways, after patching up, Vash then proceeds to take his newfound wolf buddies over to… The future? Where Zero is? So Inuyasha to Wolf’s Rain to Megaman Zero? Anyways, Zero informs Vash that another X has been created. Now, in other stories, this would be a good thing, but because this is Megaman Zero, another Copy of X is a bad thing. Like, really bad.

Oh, and let’s add the cast from Final Fantasy X to the party as well. Why not? And Vash has a Dressphere that has him dress up as Jason Voorhees. By this point, I stopped caring and learned to just enjoy whatever comes my way. He then encounters Kekanu… or rather his brother.

The two have some bad blood of the Taylor Swift variety, and so they proceed to fight each other. Long story short, Vash powers up and kicks Kekanu’s brother’s ass. Then he proceeded to kill Copy X4, then fights a bunch of demons. Sora makes a surprising reappearance and the idea of Sora fighting demons is always a bonus. Oh, and Vash fuses with both Sora and Zero. Again, I stopped caring a long time ago.

Speaking of fusing, Sin and Vegnagun are back and are working together. The team works to stop these guys by going to… Iraq?! Oh God, I think I might be wrong when I said I stopped caring…

Oh wait, never mind. Vash goes to the arctic and gains so many power ups that Conner McKnight is blushing, but one of those power ups is making him a Time Master via a Toa mask which means that the Prince of Persia has to get involved. But we end our chapter with Vash fighting Vegnasin until a portal was created. Okay, you have me intrigued with a cliffhanger. See you all next time!
