BWTW Chapter 16: It was Ebony, in the Bedroom, with the Knife

Written By: Thomas
POV: Third person, centered on Ebony
Deaths: Harry (1), Ron (1)

Yet another conversation between the author and Jesus begins, with the author complaining about the hackers and hoping they go to Hell. Jesus agrees, and thanks the author for giving a warning to the heathens that "Ye shall burn in hell if ye choose to follow the path of evil by hacking into accounts. ^_^". The author denies being Idiosy or Benry, saying both are rapists and Satan worshipping demons. He concludes by saying he does not own the Bible; God does.

The chapter is one of the few in this installment that is actually titled, and is "Ebony sleeps with Harry."

Ebony goes into the main hall and finds Dumbledore sleeping there (why he isn't in his office or his room is never mentioned), talking in his sleep about wanting to kill all the Christians. Oddly enough, Ebony doesn't try to kill him at this point, even though the Prayer Warriors have essentially forgotten about their plan to get information out of him. Ebony walks through the hall, realizing that it will be the last time, and hoping that it will be (by contrast, most people tend to feel as though they'll miss not seeing a place that they've been to regularly over a long period of time again unless the place has some painful memories associated with it), so that it can be replaced with a Catholic school, not a Satanist or Anglican one. She briefly goes on a tangent about how the Church of England is a Satanic institution founded by Henry and Katherine (incidentally, Anne Boleyn was the woman he divorced his first wife so that he could marry), and that today's royal family is satanic.

Ron greets her from behind, and Ebony notices his long hair is proof of his "Scottish Viking" heritage and makes her afraid of him. Ebony insincerely offers condolences over the death of Ron's sister (granted, the Never Speak Ill of the Dead trope means that similar expressions do not have to be entirely sincere), but Ron isn't that bothered, convinced that his mom will give him a new sister, while Ebony believes that the father won't be the same as Ron's. Incidentally, Ron heard about this through "telekinetic" links between them, a gift from Satan,

Ebony asks to see Harry so she can give him a gift, with the narration reminding us of her intention to kill him. Ron, convinced that Harry will be pleased by her, albeit not as much as he is by Ron, shows her to the room. Ebony asks for some privacy because she's shy in front of other men and Ron, despite saying that his first time was easier, allows it.

Ron steps outside to read the Satanic Bible, with the narration comparing Anton LaVey to Hitler, Osama Bin Laden and John F Kennedy in terms of how evil he is. After Ebony leaves the room, Ron goes in and finds Harry's body. Just as he realizes that Harry's key has been stolen, Ebony stabs him to prevent him from telling anyone, fatally wounding Ron. This is business as usual for the Prayer Warriors; spend several chapters building up the main threats and kill them without a fight. One has to wonder why Michael didn't try anything like this the first time he was in their room.

Jesus and the author engage in another self-congratulatory exchange.

Next Installment: Ebony gets her reward and the final key.
