When Draco doesn't come back that night, Michael decides not to worry about it, a surprisingly lax attitude considering that non-believers suffer punishments ranging from whippings to being stoned to death in front of their schoolmates to being blown up in the bathroom, and it's possible that this might be the last time he sees Draco alive. Michael prays for God to protect Ebony, and makes her the first female Prayer Warrior, forgetting about Clarisse, Rachel, Mary, Ruth and all the other Prayer warriors, to say nothing of Ebony herself being one already.

There's another Latin prayer, one vaguely relevant to Ebony's mission. Here it is with spaces added
