"Eddie's Teddy" by Swingin' Utters

AND WE'RE BACK! Hello, boys, did you miss me?

Fresh off rewatching the movie with a very disturbed friend, I feel I'm mentally in the right place to pick this back up. Sorry for the delay.

Let's get into it.

The first verse is pretty much indistinguishable from the real thing if you sub out a thick German accent for a more generic, gruff-sounding voice and up the volume on the music. It works fine, but it's nothing interesting so far.

By the second verse it becomes evident that this guy isn't really going to try singing, and the music carries most of it. (Noticing a pattern?) The gruffness is turned up to 11, and enunciation is tossed out the window. Not that this is bad, it's still pretty catchy.

The third verse gets off to a rousing start, and then...eh...voices. They try to do different voices for the "What a guy" "Makes you cry" "Unt I did" bit, but the voices are so cartoonishly awful it pulls you out of the song.

Columbia's bit is shouted. All of it. While the music slows down. It's a bizarre clash.

The bottom end proceeds much like the first, but louder and angrier. This is another one of those songs that starts out well and slowly self-sabotages.

Onwards.*
