A Brief Word From Our Blogger

Before I click play, I must express my disappointment that if there are special features, they're all on the Blu-Ray disc. I LIKE SPECIAL FEATURES DAMMIT.

I don't even get a commentary track. Just English audio and subtitles in English, French, or Spanish (or no subtitles at all). THAT'S IT.

I must not let this color my view of the moWHY THE FUCK WON'T YOU GIVE ME SPECIAL FEATURES ASSHOLES! YOUR MOVIE SUCKS AND YOU SUCK FOR MAKING IT!*tranquilizer dart*

I like the pretty rainbows. *THUD*

Subtitles on because I've lost a lot of hearing due to thirty-plus years of ear infections, and awaaaay we go!

CRAP THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY DVD EVERYTHING'S BLACK AND WHITE ARGH WHAT THE HELL!

We begin on a rocky shore. Leonardo Di Caprio is facedown in the water, just becoming conscious. He is not dead because...?

Upon seeing the pagoda, I note that someone is richer than Croesus. I also note that this scene mirrors what I've heard about the ending of the movie, my prediction was false. God damn internet spoilery rumors anyway.

The sales pitch: "I'm the best dream-raping con-man in the world! I can teach you to protect your secrets if you give me access to all of them!"

...Wat.

Oh. Oh, he just wanted to make the guy think about them in order to reveal where they're hidden. That actually makes sense, as it's an old con artist's trick having to do with kinesthesiology.

Wait... is...

Is this a heist movie as well as a psychological thriller?

FUCKING JACKPOT!

I'm gonna duck out for a minute and end the first session at the beginning of the flashback/heist scene.

Oh, by the way, spoiler alert.

Next: Fucking Jackpot?

By the way, if you haven't seen Dreamscape, I recommend it.
