39: The Expansion Pack

The year is half over, so it's time for the autumn crops to come out. Maggey has done a good job of clearing the field of refuse, so there's plenty of room to plant new stuff. There are also mushrooms growing on the field. While Raguna doesn't know too many mushroom recipes, he can still sell them for a tiny profit. (And yes, if you're wondering, Rags is still wearing his silly-looking pumpkin mask. Why? It gives him the most plusses out of anything he's worn so far.) To Raguna's chagrin, none of the trees are bearing fruit this season. (Shouldn't there normally be apples this time of year?)

Raguna visits the library to deliver some hot rice balls to Selphy, where he learns that the monster he encountered in the Green Ruins is called a Clucky. He doesn't feel much remorse about having to beat it down, but at least he knows his opponent.

Traveling around Trampoli, he notices that the church has been given a rather large add-on, with two new rooms to take care of sick patients (or maybe bedrooms for Lara and Stella?) There's also a new house between Erik and Kross' houses, which is owned by some guy named Brodik. However, judging by the sign on his door, he isn't planning on seeing any visitors any time soon. "If you have no business, go away. If you have business, go away." Swell guy. Raguna tries knocking on the door several times over the course of the day, but Brodik never answers.

Across the street, Bianca's villa is still open, even though she said she would only be hanging around for the summer.

At the bathhouse, Cinnamon tells Raguna that a Broom constellation will be available for viewing this fall, but he has to stay up past midnight in order to see it.
