Yes yet ANOTHER liveblog of Fallout: Equestria. Though this one is slightly different, since well i've already read it once. And also I loved it. So why make this you might ask. "Oh yay mindless gushing about this from a fanboy" you might think. Well, no. Yes there are already two liveblogs of this story, one that's been pretty much abandoned, and another that is now a mash up of various MLP fics. And while I do like both the people doing them, they have a very negative view on the fic, more so then the vast majority who have read this. And I'm sure that anyone whose read Pannic's blog of it recognizes me and knows how much a disagree with his views on the story. I simply want to give another opinion on it.

Also it's been about a year or so since I read the fic, I want to go through, re-read it and see how time/Season2&3/seeing the various criticism, discussions, debates about the fic have change the way I see it.

And there is yet ANOTHER purpose to this, to work myself up to a fic I have been dreading reading, that I have been both interested, and repelled by from everything I've heard. And finally worked out a way to read it, via making it about the liveblog not me reading it myself (and yes it makes sense in my head, that's what matters.) So this is both a test run of working out how to do a liveblog, and directly related to the next fic since that one is Fallout: Equestria - Project Horizons.

Hope that you all enjoy, feel free to comment once I start (will be soon, though going will be slow for the first month I work retail so this is a VERY busy time for me.) but I'll get it going as soon as I can and, well hope someone reads and enjoys this.

I agree that Velvet deciding to stay with the slavers wasn't her best idea, but I can't fault her for what she's trying to do.

I've actually been thinking that maybe the reason that Littlepip only knows telekinesis may be because of the fact that we and her only earnt an important detail about her very late in the story. Once she did, she'd technically be able to learn other spells.

I'll get more into spells and what not later, and yes that's one of the controversies around Velvet I'll be giving my take on.

Love struck Lil'pip=adorable. Angry, murderous Lil'pip=still pretty adorable.

But all jokes aside, I agree with you on Velvet Remedy. Not every pony is cut out for fighting. She's trying the best she can and she DID give the slaves SOME relief.

There are a number of adjectives I could use to describe Littlepip. Adorable is not one of them. Then again, a lot of people seem to ascribe adjectives to her that I find unfitting.

And most people completely disagree with all the adjectives you do use, so we're even.

And yes she is adorable, but most adorable Lil'pip is slightly tipsy lil'pip from chapter 5...or 4, one of those. And embaressed Lil'pip from later.

Then again, she's a pony, they can't NOT be adorable at some point

As much I don't think pacifism is good aproach in those situations I still think Velvet wasn't that wrong with helping slavers. Yes she aided slavers but she also helped slaves. All other alternatives were worse from her point of view: she would be slave/dead and slaves would get less medical help. I would complain if she was really agaist Lilpip plan.

And Alicorn thing, before that I wouldn't be exited about idea of FOE vesrion of Super Mutants being much different but Alicorn idea is that AWESOME. For some time it was my favorite part of fic.
