Prologue: Welcomes and information

Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!

The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

Continue forth onto the next page, and hopefully enjoy your time reading!

Well, if it's my first time playing through, I usually avoid those guys like the plague. I've spent a lot of time getting to know these characters, and it can be risky to send even your best units against certain opponents. However, if I'm playing through again out of pure enjoyment of the game rather than watching the characters develop, then I'm all for giving myself an extra challenge to make things interesting.

Honestly, even as super tough foes go, Naesala is a doozy to fight. I probably won't fight him in every file (hell, I only decided to fight him now because I knew Soren could hurt him enough that I could reliably kill him with other units help). I only fought him since I wasn't planning on using the Knight Ring he usually gives, so there wasn't much use in sending him off using the other birds when I could get a good fight out of it.

I'd imagine the Oscar/Boyd/Rolf triangle attack can devastate Naesala, since it's an effective damage critical with 100% accuracy. I might try it out if the brothers' stats are up to it, only a chapter away.

I'm fairly sure you're right, and on a run I use the brothers, I might fight Naesala to see how effective it is. Of course, I'm likely going to use diplomacy more often than not, since the Knight Ring is a pretty cool item.
