Prologue: Welcomes and information

Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!

The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

Continue forth onto the next page, and hopefully enjoy your time reading!

You know, I don't think I ever alerted the guards in this chapter. Then again, that's because I always relied on the same guide, too chicken to try and guess my way through a stealth section. One of these days, perhaps if there's ever a draft run of this game on the forums, I should purposely alert the guards just to spice up the playthrough.

Seriously? Wow, so you've never gotten Brom or Kieran? The stealth section itself isn't really guessing. Anyone with 6 or more movement will be able to slip their way out of the guards sight range, and so long as you check to see exactly how far a guards sight range extends, you should be fine. The only reason I got caught was because I forgot Mordecai on a space just at the edge of a guards sight.

Oh, I've gotten Brom and Kieran before. I've opened their door, had (I think) Oscar initiate brief conversation with Kieran, and then left the two huddled in a corner and out of sight while the other guys slip past the guards and make their escape. As long as the door's open, it doesn't matter if you order them to head towards the exit or not.

Oh, okay. I wasn't aware that it was possible to open that door without alerting a guard. I thought they were alerted simply upon seeing an open door. I can make use of this next time...

It took me something like 35 turns but I managed to get everyone out without being detected—that includes Sephiran (despite not being necessary for anything) and Kieran (used the Direct command)—, all the treasure, and the boss dead on my replay.
