** In "Superior Smash Siblings", excessive focus was put on Bowser as if his inclusion was new and exciting.
*** When ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBros for Wii U / 3DS'' was actually released, Bowser was one of the most commonly used characters at first, widely believed to be top-tier. Though he was later found to be counterable, his reputation still lingers.
*** When ''VideoGame/SuperSmashFlash2'' added Bowser to the roster in the penultimate release, he was given a hand-sprited ''Wii U / 3DS''-style [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEbPM_Jv8lY newcomer trailer]], even though [[ForegoneConclusion his castle was already there as a stage for several versions by that time, and that's not even considering his mainstay status]].
** The first line of "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMwYo0w42r4 John Goodman Breaks]]", a ''Series/{{Roseanne}}'' poop, is "Quiet, you'll attract niggers." Years later, a successful revival of the show was quickly cancelled after Roseanne Barr posted some damningly racist tweets against Valerie Jarrett.
** "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lu9iSYcFHyQ Emperor of the Plateau]]", a ''WesternAnimation/KingOfTheHill'' YTP, has the line "I can't say the word 'sus' without someone giggling." At the time, mirroring a word to turn it into a nonsense palindrome like "sus" was a common thing to do in YTP, but as many comments on the video point out, this line took on a completely different meaning after ''VideoGame/AmongUs'' became a major source of memes, with the word "sus" (short for "suspicious") in particular integrating itself into the internet's lexicon. A further evolution of the meme had people overreact to anything that vaguely reminds them of ''Among Us'', which means that, in some circles, you could indeed make someone giggle simply by saying the word "sus".
