''My Big, Big Friend'' (Portuguese: ''Meu Amigãozão'') is a Brazilian-Canadian animated children's series created by Canadian and Brazilian Claudia and Andres Lieban Koogan Breitman (with Kevin Gillis, creator of ''WesternAnimation/TheRaccoons'', as a producer), co-produced by Brazilian studio 2D Lab and the Canadian company [[Creator/BreakthroughEntertainment Breakthrough Animation]]. Had its first showing on August 9, 2010 on Discovery Kids Latin America and May 9, 2011 premiered on TV Brazil. It premiered in Canada on Creator/TreehouseTV on August 20, 2011. It used to be available on {{Creator/Netflix}}, but it can now be found on {{Creator/Tubi}} and {{Creator/Peacock}} as well as [=YouTube=].

The show centers around the friendships of three children, Yuri, Lili and Matt, each of whom has a "Big Big Friend" who is invisible to adults and other children but seen by all three friends.

In 2022, a movie based on the series premiered in Brazilian theaters. So far, there hasn't been any announcement of a release in other countries.

Not to be confused with the show ''WesternAnimation/MyGiantFriend''. Has nothing to do with the trope BigBadFriend.

!!Examples:
* AmazingTechnicolorWildlife: A blue elephant, a pink giraffe, and a green kangaroo. {{Justified|Trope}} since they are children's {{Imaginary Friend}}s and they created them with those colors.
* AnimalGenderBender: Despite Bongo being a male kangaroo, he has a pouch. Justified due to Matt's age, he doesn't know the difference between male and female kangaroos and believes all of them have pouches.
* BrattyHalfPint: Lili, sometimes.
* ExpressiveEars: Golias's ears act as hands.
* GenialGiraffe: Nessa.
* GentleGiant: Golias is the biggest and also has a big heart.
* HonorableElephant: Golias is a big blue elephant who is friendly to everyone.
* {{Keet}}: Bongo is a dorky and hyperactive green kangaroo.
* KidsHateVegetables: In "Hippo-licious", Matt is none too pleased when his family has spinach for dinner. Later, he and Bongo are trapped in a forest of spinach, forcing them both to eat their way through. [[IDoNotLikeGreenEggsAndHam To Matt's surprise, it's not as bad as he'd thought it would be.]]
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: Lili's Masculine Girl to Yuri's Feminine Boy.
* NotSoImaginaryFriend: An odd example. The three children can all interact and talk with their big, big friends but other children and adults can't see them.
* NeverTrustATitle: In "Holding It In" a lot of viewers assumed it had something to do with urine. Turns out the episode revolves around Yuri trying not to cry.
* PottyEmergency: Golias has one in "Diggin A Hole" whilst stuck in a pit.
* SugarBowl: The show is very lighthearted and sweet.
* TertiarySexualCharacteristics: Nessa is a pink giraffe with eyelashes and bows on her ossicones.
* UnexpectedKindness: In "Over the Rainbow", Ms. Carol gives Matt a letter to give to his parents after he accidentally wrecks a dollhouse. Lili tells him he's probably in trouble, much to his dismay. At the end of the episode, it's revealed that Ms. Carol wrote that Matt's been a "good boy" for helping her fix up the playroom, so Matt is quite relieved.
