->''ok''
-->'''Bamba'''

''Padak'' is a webcomic made in MSPFA by [=SniperInteleon=]. Four myrmidons play a game and risk their life doing so. There are also some other characters such as the sprites and Lil' Bal. There are also [[WordOfGod more classes and aspects, according to the creator]]. Did we mention the tengus? The webcomic is only in Act 2 Section 1. Additions are still currently being made.

Not to be confused with {{Animation/Padak}} the animated movie, which has a much different premise. It's also a lot darker, but Padak the Webcomic can get dark as well. [=SniperInteleon=] obviously knows the difference, since she apparently [[WordOfGod named it after the animated movie]].

!!hey, bamba? sorry to tell you this, but there are more tropes on your porch!
* AdaptationNameChange: The game the myrmidons are playing isn't called Sburb, but Scurb. It also has a blue color palette.
* AndNowForSomeoneCompletelyDifferent: Like Homestuck, this webcomic likes to introduce new characters when something is about to happen.
* CuteLittleFangs: Every myrmidon (sans Ascle) has these fangs.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Every myrmidon gets its own description on it's personality, like in Homestuck.
* FloralThemeNaming: All the myrmidons are named after some kind of plant. Beito is named after beets, Bamba is named after bamboo, Tarra is named after the tarragon herb, Quara's name is based off of Kurara, the Japanese name for the sophora shrub (which is highly toxic, which gives her a meaning to being a Venomfang), and Ascle is named after the asclepias plant, or milkweed.
* GuysSmashGirlsShoot: Inverted with Beito and Bamba. Beito wields a [[CombatHandFan fan]] and uses RazorWind with it, and Bamba wields nunchakus and hits imps with them.
* GuideDangIt: In-Universe. See HowDoIShotWeb below.
* HowDoIShotWeb: Beito has no idea how to use the Scurb Hud when he first uses it, because many things are confusing. He gets better at using it, though.
* ObligatorySwearing: Being a Sburb fan adventure, it was bound to have this.
** Beito averts this trope, as he never swears, and replaces every swear with the word [[GoshDangItToHeck heck]].
* OurCryptidsAreMoreMysterious: There are mythical creatures in this webcomic. This is justified because this is a world where hybrids and other odd creatures can appear, and look like these creatures.
* SadlyMythtaken:
** First off, there are the myrmidons. They are based off of the Myrmidons of Greek myth, which are ants turned into warriors. The Myrmidons of Padak are [[InsectoidAliens insects who evolved into a more humanoid form]]. There are also [[HarpingOnAboutHarpies harpies]], which in Padak are tropical birds, and [[OurNymphsAreDifferent dryads]], which are bark marsupials.
** Then, there are the tengus. They are obviously based off the {{Main/Tengu}} from Japanese lore, but the closer they are to the Notional side of the aspect spectrum, the stronger their wind power is.
* ShoutOut:
** Beito's obsession with Puyo is an obvious reference to VideoGame/PuyoPuyo. This includes the figurines that appear around his house, the poster, and his desktop.
*** There is also Lil' Bal, which is literally Baldanders. Pretty blatant, that.
** Along with that, Bamba really likes {{VideoGame/Splatoon}} to an extent. She's not as obsessed with it as Beito is Puyo.
* WhamLine: Here's one.
--> Lil' Bal gives you a sympathetic look, as he knows that he is safe, '''and that you are not.''' Lil' Bal knows the circumstances revolving around that game. It ends the world. You either play or die. Even if you play, you have a chance of dying. '''He is aware of this.'''
