''Nintendo Minute'' is an official Creator/{{Nintendo}} themed web series that ran from 2013 to 2021, hosted by Krysta Yang and Kit Ellis. The exact nature of the show varies by episode, but overall showcases current Nintendo content, including that of third-parties. Kit and Krysta play games, interview people involved in the industry, debate different topics, and unbox items like games or Toys/{{amiibo}} figures.

The series can be viewed on the Nintendo Website/YouTube channel [[https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2JiZAV5BmDUhscQQ5oXsXaJhI-aT25r8 here]]. Similar to WebVideo/NintendoDirect, episodes were also distributed on the Nintendo eShop.

The series ended following both Krysta and Kit's departure from Nintendo of America, with the duo continuing on with their own podcast, ''[[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl0XiEgng4LZFpYVDd8oR8A Kit & Krysta]]'', where they continue to talk video games while sharing stories about their time at the company.

!!Tropes present in the videos:
* ArtShift: The "Draw Our Gaming Memories" episode is done in a pencil-sketched style rather than the typical live-action footage.
* AuthorAvatar: In certain areas, everyone is represented by their UsefulNotes/{{Mii}}s, which are digital avatars unique to Nintendo.
%%* ButtMonkey: The two frequently treat each other like this.
%%* TheCameo: Various game developers have appeared on the show.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: It took a bit of time for [[CatchPhrase "Nintendo Minute is never a minute"]] to be a thing.
* {{Foreshadowing}}:
** A meta example. For a short while, Krysta had a habit of posting [[https://twitter.com/breath0air/status/982811894741254144 photos of cherry blossoms]] from Kyoto Japan on her Website/{{Twitter}} account. It was later revealed that for episode 250, she and Kit were travelling to Nintendo's headquarters in Kyoto for filming.
** On the show itself, an episode focused on travelling tips for the Platform/NintendoSwitch, and they were apparently doing this in the spirit of the trip to Japan.
* FunnyBackgroundEvent: A plush Goomba randomly falling in one episode. The editing points it out, but it's otherwise not acknowledged.
* GamerChick: Krysta is a pretty obvious example. Producer Stephy falls under this category as well, but not made completely clear by the show itself.
* TheGhost: Producer Stephenie only appears on the show as her Mii, and the voice heard in a few episodes may not actually be her; it could be another female producer. Averted as of July 27, 2023, where she appears [[https://www.patreon.com/posts/send-us-your-for-86756516 in a Patreon comment asking for questions for her to answer]] in her appearance on ''Kit and Krysta'' later that week, [[UnseenNoMore where she finally appears as a guest star]].
* MenDontCry: Kit claims to have never cried while playing a video game. This streak was broken by the New Donk City festival in ''VideoGame/SuperMarioOdyssey''.
* NonIndicativeTitle: Despite having the word "minute" right in the title, episode are typically around ten or sometimes twenty minutes long. Lampshaded by their SigningOffCatchphrase.
* NoteFromEd: In the "Spin the Wheel" ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosUltimate'' video, at one point the titular wheel lands on a section requiring Kit and Krysta to play as characters who debuted on the [[Platform/NintendoEntertainmentSystem NES]]. Krysta says Mario, and a note instantly slides onto the screen:
-->''Editor's note:Mario debuted on NES? Really Krysta? :P''
* PerverseSexualLust:
** Krysta has a bizarre crush on [[Franchise/FireEmblem Chrom]].
** While its not as much of a RunningGag, an episode of Gaming Confessions reveals that Kit had a crush on Rydia from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyIV'' when he was a kid.
** In the "Spin the Wheel" ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosUltimate'' video, the wheel eventually lands on a section where Kit and Krysta have to play as their crushes. Krysta naturally picks Chrom, and Kit picks Zero Suit Samus. When asked what he would do on a date with Samus, Kit says that they would use her spaceship to go stargazing.
* ShapedLikeItself: Krysta explains "Two Truths and a Lie" by just repeating the game's title. Kit calls her out on this.
* {{Slogan}}: "Nintendo Minute is never a minute."
* SugarBowl: The show's environment is definitely rather light-hearted, and guests on the show always look like they have a fun time.
%%* SurrealHumor: [[https://twitter.com/kitosan/status/959916961252585472 The thumbnail for the "Nintendo Switch Swap Challenge" video.]]
