[[WMG:Aiden, Marcus and T-Bone can end up recruited into the cause]]
However either of them end up in a totalitarian post-Brexit England, they'll be people who know ctOS in and out and this is not the first time they've done this kind of thing before. Whether they're part of the story or DLC, it'll be interesting to see.
* Alternatively, they'll show up in sidequests but aren't playable so the players can't get them killed.
* While no word on Marcus or T-Bone, Aiden has been ''Confirmed'' as part of the Season Pass, with his own story line! The same goes for Wrench.

[[WMG:Permadeath can be turned off, if not a Hardcore mode option]]
While there have been easy, normal and hard modes in the games, permadeath mode would be more if you're quite sure of your skills, especially if it's part of a Hardcore difficulty option where the only way to get that particular character back is to restart the game.
** Ubisoft Forward 2020 confirms that Permadeath is a toggleable option. With it off, downed characters immediately go into custody.

[[WMG:Shout-outs to British pop culture]]
For example, an easter egg that has a familiar [[Series/DoctorWho blue police box]] looking out of place in a futuristic London.

[[WMG:Some of the enemy leaders will be knockoffs of real-life British politicians and media figures.]]

Although this troper will refrain from identifying the potential [[{{Expy}} expies]] by name, the fact that Legion is explicitly set in [[DayOfTheJackboot a "highly nationalist" and totalitarian London]] ([[WhatDoYouMeanItsNotPolitical in what's highly implied to be a post-Brexit England]]). That alone means the enemies being made of {{EvilBrit}}s is guaranteed, but coupled with how VideoGame/WatchDogs2 had [[NoCelebritiesWereHarmed not-so-subtle stand-ins for real-life figures]] who were [[RippedFromTheHeadlines involved with then-current events]], may result in some of the named enemies being modified versions of IRL figures of Britain's right to far-right. Possibilities can be divided into three groups:

* {{CorruptPolitician}}s: Although some trailers have said that [[GovernmentInExile the British government has "fucked off"]], it is likely [[GovernmentConspiracy some leading figures in it were responsible]] for green-lighting [[MegaCorp Albion]] [[OneNationUnderCopyright taking control of London]]. While it's unlikely that [[NonActionBigBad these politicians will directly engage in combat]] (leaving that role to [[JustYouAndMeAndMyGuards their personal security forces]]), they would certainly be high-priority targets for [[LaResistance DedSec]]. It may even be possible that the game's BigBad is a [[PresidentEvil Prime Minister Evil]], or at least forms a BigBadDuumvirate with [[CorruptCorporateExecutive the CEO of Albion]].

* [[ANaziByAnyOtherName White nationalists]]/[[RightWingMilitiaFanatic "British" nationalists]]: Being [[LesCollaborateurs fanatically devoted to Albion and/or the politicians responsible for Albion's involvement]] (whilst "technically" being a separate group from the later two groups, [[DealWithTheDevil despite ties from them in exchange for their support]]), these nationalist groups may serve as a StarterVillain for [=DedSec=], to weaken and destroy them first before taking the fight directly to Albion. The rank-and-file of these nationalist groups will serve as TheGoomba, with them acting more like FootballHooligans (i.e. using their bare fists, melee weapons), and at most handguns compared to the [[HiredGuns Albion mercenaries]] [[EliteMooks armed to the gills with assault rifles and body armor]]. The leader(s) of these nationalist groups will be [[TheBrute more hands-on than most of the other villains]], requiring the player to use "physical" operatives (such as [[FightClubbing street fighters]]) to [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown punch them out of commission]].

* "Internet Personalities": Seeing as VideoGame/WatchDogs2 brought up the concept of social media impacting the real world, it's likely that Albion and/or the politicians backing them will use some sympathizing ([[MoneyDearBoy or just plainly bribed]]) social media pundits in to serve the PropagandaMachine, to [[VillainWithGoodPublicity save Albion's face in the eyes of the public]], [[HeroWithBadPublicity smear DedSec relentlessly]] as [[YourTerroristsAreOurFreedomFighters "terrorists undermining Western values"]], and overall [[MouthOfSauron spread the political agenda of Albion/its backers]]. These enemies [[PuzzleBoss may require more technological means of neutralizing them]], using [[PlayfulHacker hacker operatives]] to do things such as [[HollywoodHacking hacking into guarded servers]] to fry their social media accounts, or to use hacked objects to [[InstantHumiliationJustAddYouTube turn them into media laughingstocks]] (the way VideoGame/WatchDogs2 had Marcus hack objects purely to {{Troll}} certain enemies, such as hacking [[CorruptCorporateExecutive Steven Bader's]] treadmill so that [[AmusingInjuries it sent him flying off it]].)

[[WMG:Bagley was programmed by Josh.]]
It would be interesting if Josh made Bagley to begin building Dedsec in London, and Bagley does appear to be literal minded like Josh.
* [[spoiler:Jossed. The "Finding Bagley" epilogue mission reveals Bagley was a product of Skye Larsen, [[BrainUploading who copied the memories of her brother Bradley shortly while he was suffering from epilepsy/early onset dementia]].]]

[[WMG:Bagley will be hijacked by a rival hacker and misdirects the player.]]
Slightly similar to [[VideoGame/MetalGearSolid2SonsOfLiberty GW]], Bagley might be hacked by rival hacktivists and [[MissionControlIsOffItsMeds direct the player to danger]] and like GW, [[WordSaladHorror spout random phrases]].
* [[spoiler:Confirmed, although the "rival hacktivist" is Sabine revealing herself to be behind Zero-Day, and her attempts at hacking Bagley isn't to lead the players into an ambush, but to [[HomicidalMachine cause London's machines to go haywire]] [[RestartTheWorld so that she can level society to rebuild from the ground up]]. Also DoubleSubverted, in that [[ZerothLawRebellion Bagley is able to maintain enough control to guide the rest of DedSec into stopping Sabine's plans]].]]

[[WMG:Aiden is running this [=DedSec=].]]
It will be revealed late in the game that the person running this sect of [=DedSec=] will be Aiden Pierce.
* Alternatively it could be a member of San Fran [=DedSec=], or possibly Ray Kenney.
* Semi-Confirmed, in that Aiden is not the leader of London's [=DedSec=], but can be recruited by them in a Season Pass/Collector's Edition expansion mission.

[[WMG:You can recruit the Queen of England]]
And there will be an achievement for it.
* Jossed. She's not even anywhere in the game.

[[WMG:The Spiderbot will appear again]]
Given how in the second game Titus was making it for "Riot control" and Albion is fielding "Riot" drones armed with high caliber ballistics and even missiles, so perhaps the Spiderbot appears as a boss, or another test version to be hacked.

[[WMG:Aiden and Bay Area Dedsec will only be mentioned]]
They probably won't appear in the game, if London is such a crapsack city, I can't imagine how terrible the situation is in the U.S.. Still, Aiden is probably known in the hacker community around the world for being the ultra violent vigilante of Chicago and Marcus and his pals are the first ones who were able to give a good lesson to Blume in San Francisco (even if it wasn't enough to diminish the corporation's influence in the rest of the world apparently). They have nothing to do in London but they're probably legends among [=DedSec=] members.
* Partially jossed, as Aiden has been confirmed as playable through DLC content.
* And Jossed again for the Bay Area Dedsec, as Wrench is also recruitable in the Season Pass/Collector's Edition missions.

[[WMG:The corporations that appeared in Watch_Dogs 2 will play a role]]
Since London is controlled by ctOS, it's safe to assume that Blume will at least play a background role. Tidis could possibly be the ones supplying Albion with their riot drones, realising the San Francisco DedSec's fears of ctOS tech being used in robots against civilians.
** Confirmed, in that Tidis has been contracted by Nigel Cass for Albion's "[[KillerDrone Project THEMIS]]" (although it's Downplayed in that [[DemotedToExtra the returning corporations have a smaller role]] [[MakeWayForTheNewVillains compared to all of the new antagonists in Legion]].

[[WMG:One of the characters you recruit will be an assassin.]]
Not just any assassin, but those [[Franchise/AssassinsCreed assassins]].
** It has been confirmed that Watch_Dogs and Assassins Creed share the same universe.
** It has been confirmed that one of the 4 DLC recruits is from the Assassin Order.

[[WMG:Bagley is a synthesized voice.]]
Since he addresses every PC including by name and already being an A.I., this seems like it'd be a clever move.

[[WMG:You can get rid of [=DedSec=] members from your team without having them killed.]]
I hope this is added, if I come across a good recruit and my team is full I don't want to just put them on a suicide mission to free up space.
** Confirmed. There is a 'Retire Operative' button, accessible in the Team menu when editing an operative's equipped gadgets. If you come across a retired operative that you want to have on your team again, you can recruit them again without needing to complete another recruitment mission.

[[WMG:Bellwether is Bagley.]]
After gaining so much information it evolved into a BenevolentAI.
* [[spoiler:Jossed.]]

[[WMG:[[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Music/TheClash Clash]] on soundtrack.]]
Bonus points if it's one of their many songs opposed to the Met while your recruiting cops to the revolution.
** Extra credit for Pulp's "Common People".

[[WMG:Nigel Cass and Mary Kelly, while definitely evil, are only small cogs in a larger piece of London's rotten underbelly.]]
The two of them are working on opposite extremes of the law and are most likely working under another conspiracy that they're either part of, unaware of each other, or it's a case of EvilVsEvil. The real villain could be someone like Dusan Nemec from 2 who's using what amounts to ctOS 3.0 to play every side from [=DedSec=], the Mob and even Albion like chumps.
* [[spoiler:Ultimately confirmed. It's revealed that Sabine was Zero-Day all along, and worked directly with Cass and Kelley to organize the London Bombings to purge the first [=DedSec=]. After Cass reneged on their deal, she built the second [=DedSec=] to steal technology from Albion, Clan Kelley, Skye Larsen and SIRS as part of her plan to [[HomicidalMachines drive London's ctOS system completely haywire]], with the intention of [[ApocalypseHow spreading it across all of England]] [[RestartTheWorld to forcibly restart society]] when she believes the incremental progress brought about by [=DedSec=] won't succeed in any meaningful change]].

[[WMG:Raymond Kenney is dead.]]
The game is implied to take place quite some time in the future, and indeed the trailer revealing Aiden's DLC portrays him as quite a bit older. Given that Ray was already quite old in 2, it's possible that age, or possibly Blume's fixers, finally caught up to him.

[[WMG:[[VideoGame/SplinterCell Sam Fisher]] will be a DLC character]]
They've already put him in Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six Siege, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch if they tried to get more people to buy the Season Pass by including a popular GuestFighter.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Post-Release [=WMGs=] (open spoilers)]]
[[WMG:Mary Kelley was close to or associated with Dermot Quinn.]]
Let's see... old bastard who runs one of the biggest gangs in town and involved in human trafficking? That's the kind of thing Lucky Quinn was doing in the first game. She most likely took over a lot of resources from his businesses after his death.

[[WMG:Kaitlin Lau is related to [[VideoGame/TheDivision Faye Lau]].]]
Considering the game is already in a SharedUniverse with Assassin's Creed, what's to say they don't share one with the Division? It'd be even more heartbreaking if she finds out that Faye's now a Rogue Division agent.

[[WMG:The season-pass missions involving Aiden, as well as the Assassins, take place after Sabine's death.]]
While Aiden has more than enough reason to not trust [=DedSec=] considering his experiences with the Chicago chapter, it's likely he sees working with the London branch as more of an EnemyMine deal against what's left of Albion and Clan Kelley even after Sabine tried to destroy London.
* '''Jossed''': the leaked opening scene reveals that Bloodline actually takes place between the prologue with Dalton, and Sabine recruiting the first operative of the iteration of [=DedSec=] that we see in the main Campaign, which in hindsight makes sense as it'd explain how Aiden and Wrench would be available for use as members of that iteration of [=DedSec=].

[[WMG:Aiden has, since we last saw him, joined the Assassins.]]
Okay, here me out. Let's start with Aiden's M.O. post Watch Dogs 1, he's a vigilante, tracking down the criminal element to punish them, while not necessarily, this is roughly the M.O. of the brotherhood. Furthermore albeit indirectly he did have an interaction with the brotherhood via the final Criminal Convoy, where he took out Olivier Garneau, so it's theoretically possible that they could've tracked Aiden down and invited him to join them. It could explain why Darcy is part of the DLC, at least if we assume all four season pass heroes are part of the Bloodline story.
* OP: seems unlikely now, Mina was released before Bloodline, Darcy won't be showing up until later, we can assume therefore that Bloodline is only focused on Aiden and Wrench, though that's not necessarily conformation.
** Op again: ''Jossed'' as previously speculated Darcy and the Assassins are a completely separate story to Bloodline, and there is no indication that Aiden has any connection to the Assassins.
