DMM Games and Level-5 have announced Soukou Musume (Armored Girls), a new simulation RPG based on Level-5’s ''VideoGame/LBXLittleBattlersExperience'' license planned for release across PC browser this winter in Japan, followed by iOS and Android in spring 2018.

The game features “countless beautiful girls” wearing the parts of Little Battler eXperience (LBX) robots. While mainly centered around five girls, a total of 60 characters are planned to appear. Additionally, there is an armor destruction system in which girls’ LBX parts will be destroyed when attacked, exposing their skin. http://gematsu.com/2017/09/dmm-games-level-5-announce-little-battlers-experience-based-armored-girls-pc-browser-ios-android#yzJ6QMU5gdX1P0dL.99

Sōkō Musume itself is planned as a multimedia franchise, with planned plastic models from Kotobukiya, a manga in Shogakukan's ''[[Magazine/CoroCoroComic CoroCoro Aniki]]'' magazine, and an anime from DMM Pictures. The staff at the press conference didn't specify the format of the anime, but gaming news website Inside Games reported the "broadcast schedule" of the anime isn't yet determined. It would eventually be revealed as a standalone 12-episode series by Studio A-Cat (''Tamayomi'', ''Frame Arms Girl'', ''Anime/TransformersEnergon'') simply known as ''LBX Girls'', released in the Winter season of 2021. The plot involving five temporally displaced girls fighting off the threat Mimesis while trying to find their way back.

The armors[=/=]and main characters confirmed thus far are: Achilles, The Emperor, Joker, Kunoichi, and Hunter. There's a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGeCZXrKJ7k trailer]] too.

!!This series contains examples of:
%%* AdaptationalSexuality: While it is difficult to say whether or not the LBX in the original series had a specific gender even if certain models such as Amazoness and Kunoichi are catered to girls, this time, all of the main characters who use the armor confirmed thus far are all considered female with the exception of the Vector opponents.
%%* BadassAdorable: All of the girls, especially Joker for her childish moe, and can still cut down her opponents with her scythe.
%%* ChannelHop: A rare video game example. Instead of being a handheld game, this time, its a mobile game app.
%%* ClothingDamage: There is an armor destruction system in which girls’ LBX parts will be destroyed when attacked, exposing their skin.
* DualWielding: Trailers show that Kunoichi has two kodachi that she uses in combat.
* KnightInShiningArmor: As usual, Achilles's armor in the trailers is an exact version of the White Knight frame of Achilles.
* SheIsTheKing: All the promotional materials show that The Emperor is a woman.
%%* SpinOff: Armored Girls is essentially a spinoff off-spring of ''VideoGame/LBXLittleBattlersExperience''. The Little Battlers Experience (aka) LBX are now the armor where the female characters will be clad in parts from the LBX robots.
%%* YouCantGoHomeAgain: Enforced in the anime as the only way back is to defeat the Mimesis threat plaguing the version of Japan the girls are trapped in. When the Mimesis are defeated, the only one shown going back is Riko, with [[WhatHappenedToTheMouse no word on what happened to the other four]].
