So you want to know about me, eh? Very well.

Since this place has links to just about every kind of fiction known to man, I can just link you to stuff I like and you should be able to build a profile of me from there.

These days I'm not into anime as much as I used to be but I used to consider it pretty hype. I used to be into Shonen anime but over time SliceOfLife shows (particularly with an all-female or mostly female cast) became my interest.
* Manga/ACertainScientificRailgun
* Manga/KOn
* Franchise/Naruto (at one time)
* Manga/DragonBallZ (again, at one time)
* Manga/LuckyStar
* Manga/Working

I'm not a huge movie buff but I do have an affinity for some flicks. Action movies, superhero movies, and stupid humor are usually my go-to genres.
* Film/TheFastAndTheFurious
* Franchise/StarWars
** Probably like Film/ReturnOfTheJedi the most
* Film/NationalTreasure
* Film/SherlockHolmes
** Film/SherlockHolmesAGameOfShadows
* Film/AnchormanTheLegendOfRonBurgundy
** Film/Anchorman2TheLegendContinues
* Disney/BigHero6
* The Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse
** Film/CaptainAmericaTheWinterSoldier in particular, which I consider the best superhero movie I've watched to date.
* Film/DudeWheresMyCar
* Film/HotRod
* Film/SpiderMan and Film/SpiderMan2 but definitely not Film/SpiderMan3 (3 is probably the single worst superhero movie I've ever seen).

For TV I'm more into animated series but there have been some live action TV shows that I've gotten into over the years.
* Series/TheDrewCareyShow
* Series/TwentyFour (definitely one of the best shows on TV when it was airing, in my opinion)
* Series/Mythbusters (excellent show but I quit watching when they dropped the Build Team; I love practical science)
* Series/MalcolmInTheMiddle
* Series/That70sShow
* Series/TheGeorgeLopezShow
* Series/Sherlock (got into it via Netflix)
* Series/Castle
* Series/EverybodyHatesChris
* I also have a number of shows I've been meaning to watch like Series/AgentsOfSHIELD, Series/AgentCarter, Series/Daredevil (all three due to my interest in the MCU).

I'm in and out of ProfessionalWrestling as the mood strikes me. Some of my favorite wrestlers throughout history have been:
* Wrestling/ScottHall (shame what happened to him in the later years)
* Wrestling/LexLuger (admittedly I think I bought into the hype but I can't deny he was cool when I was a kid)
* Wrestling/DiamondDallasPage
* Wrestling/Sting
* Wrestling/Goldberg
* Wrestling/KurtAngle
* Wrestling/ShawnMichaels
* Wrestling/ChrisJericho
* Wrestling/BrockLesnar
* Wrestling/AJStyles
* Wrestling/BryanDanielson
* Wrestling/CMPunk

By and large, my most noteworthy hobby is my interest in video games. I spread far and wide when it comes to gaming and it is definitely the most indulged form of fiction I partake in.
* I'm originally a pretty big Creator/Sega fan:
** Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog, which is where the "[=SonicTH=]" part of my username is drawn from; been into that since I was a kid, even though it hasn't all been rosy and probably my longest-followed franchise. VideoGame/Sonic3AndKnuckles is an all-time favorite, as are VideoGame/SonicAdventure and VideoGame/SonicAdventure2.
** VideoGame/Shenmue is probably my second-favorite series of Sega games. Absolutely breathtaking for the time.
** VideoGame/DaytonaUSA
* Various Creator/Capcom franchises.
** Franchise/AceAttorney is probably my favorite non-fighting game franchise from Capcom and one of my favorite franchises in gaming. The universe and characters are timeless.
** Franchise/DevilMayCry, although I am not a big fan of 2. VideoGame/DmCDevilMayCry isn't as bad as some say, conversely.
*** Being cut from the same cloth, the VideoGame/Bayonetta series has also struck a chord with me.
** I really enjoyed the VideoGame/MegaManBattleNetwork series on UsefulNotes/GameBoyAdvance but the rest of the Franchise/MegaMan franchise hasn't been a landmark series for me.
* I'm into Rhythm Games like VideoGame/GuitarHero and VideoGame/RockBand, although I'm not a huge music aficionado otherwise.
* Open-world games such as VideoGame/GrandTheftAuto (starting with the 3D era and GTA3) and VideoGame/SleepingDogs give me plenty of distraction.
* Fighting Games are probably my second favorite genre (behind action games) and I'm a frequently in the competitive scene. I like all levels of a fighting game, moreso than the average "hardcore" player, so I delve into the lore that's there as well. I play games from all over the genre because I like to experience as much of it as I can.
** Franchise/StreetFighter is my favorite series (both in the genre and from Capcom), due to its traditional design and simple-but-iconic characters. VideoGame/StreetFighterAlpha 3 and VideoGame/StreetFighterIII: Third Strike are my top two favorite fighting games.
** VideoGame/TheKingOfFighters, with XI being my favorite Creator/SNK game to date. Other SNK titles I like are Garou: Mark of the Wolves and VideoGame/NeoGeoBattleColiseum.
** VideoGame/Tekken is probably where I play my best game when it comes to fighters (though I prefer 2D fighting games, by and large). My favorite games from this series have thus far been 3 and Tag Tournament 2.
** The VideoGame/SoulSeries is probably my favorite 3D fighting game series due to its true 3D gameplay and fighting mechanics such as the Guard Impact, the first Soul Calibur being my choice for best overall 3D fighting game (having both a robust single player experience and a satisfying combat system).
** The VideoGame/SNKVsCapcom series, particularly VideoGame/CapcomVsSNK2MarkOfTheMillennium, which I consider my third favorite fighting game (behind the aforementioned Alpha 3 and Third Strike). On the subject of other CapcomVsWhatever games, I like to watch them but I've never been able to hold my own in them.
** VideoGame/VirtuaFighter, particularly 5: Final Showdown, which has some amazingly hot 3D fighting gameplay. 3: Team Battle isn't bad either.
** VideoGame/DeadOrAlive in recent years.
** I wasn't that fond of Franchise/MortalKombat as a fighting game series until VideoGame/MortalKombat9, where I felt like the gameplay had become considerably more thoughtful and deep. Otherwise I liked MK for its story, mostly.
** VideoGame/KillerInstinct due to the 2013 UsefulNotes/XboxOne game (I had been an outsider-looking-in until then).
* Racing Games are probably my third favorite genre (behind Action and Fighting) with games such as VideoGame/SanFranciscoRush (the UsefulNotes/Nintendo64-exclusive Rush 2: Extreme Racing USA at one time being my favorite racing game of all time), Franchise/NeedForSpeed (particularly the Underground series, 2005's Most Wanted, and Criterion's games), and VideoGame/Burnout (notably 3: Takedown and Paradise) being my genre favorites. Sim racing games such as the VideoGame/GranTurismo or VideoGame/ForzaMotorsport series aren't as much fun as action racing games but I've still given them a chance.
* The VideoGame/Uncharted series has been excellent.
* I like the occasional shooting game. Some fun ones I've played are VideoGame/Vanquish and VideoGame/MaxPayne 3.
* The Franchise/MetalGear series for its deep tapestry of plot, although it can be confusing (it's the origin of the "Solid" part of my username). I got hung up on finishing VideoGame/MetalGearSolid4GunsOfThePatriots and never went any further in the plot, unfortunately. Someday...
* Creator/Nintendo, while not as substantial as Sega, have also had some gems over the years.
** I like the "Big Three" Nintendo franchises (and, really, what longtime video game player can say they haven't at least played these): Franchise/SuperMario (not as much as Sonic but I can't deny it's had some great platforming games; probably handled the PolygonCeiling better than Sonic too), Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda (primarily the 3D entries, probably overall my favorite Nintendo franchise), and VideoGame/Metroid (especially the VideoGame/MetroidPrimeTrilogy).
** At one time I was into Franchise/Pokemon pretty intensely but it's ebbed off as I grew up (probably due to my lack of interest in the RolePlayingGame genre as a whole).
** VideoGame/Splatoon is a lot of fun and devilishly cute.
** Creator/Rare's most famous works, such as VideoGame/DonkeyKongCountry, VideoGame/PerfectDark, and VideoGame/BanjoKazooie are awesome.
