1* CreatorsFavoriteEpisode: Friz Freleng cited this short (along with ''WesternAnimation/RhapsodyRabbit'') as his favorite out of the ones he directed.
2* RecycledScript: A classic Friz Freleng trait; both the trained pigeons gag and Daffy's chemical drinking routine are borrowed from the 1949 cartoon "Curtain Razor" (and both have had the chemical drinking edited to remove gasoline drinking when both shorts aired on Cartoon Network and Boomerang), also directed by Freleng. The famous XylophoneGag has also been used several times before, starting with the ''WesternAnimation/PrivateSnafu'' short "Booby Traps" and continuing with "WesternAnimation/BallotBoxBunny". However, the other examples used a piano (or, in the case of the latter, a "PIE-ano").
3* WhatCouldHaveBeen: The commentary track on the second ''Golden Collection'' revealed different musical arrangements for "Tea For Two" and "Jeepers Creepers", and one song, "The Daughter of Rosie O' Grady" (which was supposed to play during the trained pigeons scene), was cut from the cartoon entirely (in its place was a [[SuspiciouslySimilarSong sound-alike]] to "Three Jolly Brothers").
