-->'''[=LittleKuriboh:=]''' I start things and I don't finish them! Have you ever noticed that!?
* CreatorBacklash: In spite of making the "Card Games on Motorcycles" meme so omnipresent, he came to admit in 2020 that he regretted it, as it undercuts a series that he came to really enjoy.
** On August 9, 2023, Martin revealed that his experiences with Creator/ChrisNiosi ([[RoleEndingMisdemeanor who was exposed as an abuser]]), as well as Blake Swift (the latter of whom was in fact ''orchestrating a smear campaign against Martin'' in private channels over Martin cutting ties with him previously) made his role as Nylocke on Niosi's TOME series a "traumatic experience". It was at the point where he outright refused to reprise the role for the video game adaptation, quit professional voice-acting and only agreed to voice a minor character Sir Maximore in hopes of the original cast returning in some capacity, which did not happen.
* CreatorBreakdown:
** Martin admitted that he's been suffering from depression since mid-2014, which is why his video productivity went down. He began creating weekly videos titled ''We're Still Here'' as a means to talk about things to work himself through his issues, talk about hopeful things and help people with similar problems.
** For some time, ''We're Still Here'' served as Martin's main project, but he has slowly regained his productivity. As of October 2016, he also hosts weekly ''Fanfiction Fridays'' and ''Marik Plays Bloodlines'', and it would seem that ''The Mark Remark'' is now available weekly as well, albeit in a more "lean and mean" form despite WWE's July 2016 brand split.
** On the 15th of August 2023, at the end of a public blowup involving Tara Welker publicly accusing Martin and Team Four Star of enabling [[https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uvreUfk8CuQn6jJZ3y6ustDgBqYBwSR6zIFhQBj9_IU/edit multiple abusive figures]] (which she later retracted for multiple reasons and apologized for), Martin [[https://twitter.com/yugiohtas/status/1691446144092803072 revealed that this incident was the culmination of an utterly vicious smear campaign by Blake Swift, aka ShadyVox]] for Martin cutting ties with Blake years before.[[note]]It turns out Welker had been manipulated by Blake to smear Martin and TFS by proxy, [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=14529246570A37099500&page=175#comment-4357 with the only reason TFS was roped in was because they made fun of him in Abridgimon episode 2]], which was incredibly spiteful considering they made fun of ''the entire abridging community'' with that video.[[/note]] This resulted in years of mental issues for Martin, and also is one of the primary reasons why he refused to reprise his role as Nylocke for the TOME series, amongst other things.
* FakeAmerican: LK is British, but most of the characters he voices have American accents (despite being Japanese). He does a very convincing job. Parodied in a YGOTAS episode where Yugi briefly reverts to an audibly English accent when he gets a harpoon thrown at him, later redubbed in a flashback as IAmVeryBritish.
* HeAlsoDid: Martin Billany was also an editor for the English dub script of ''Anime/Persona5TheAnimation'', [[https://web.archive.org/web/20210617065113/https://twitter.com/yugiohtas/status/1405382494698971138 sneaking in a pro-wrestling reference]] in the process.
* PromotedFanboy: Is mostly known for his fan abridged series, but has appeared alongside actual voice actors at cons, and has since appeared in several professional voice-over roles.
-->I was always the guy who sort of sat in the corner and yelled quotes from things. I was once one of those people. Now I ''make'' the quotes.
