1	* AllStarCast: The Anime is full of well known Japanese voice actors.
2	* BackedByThePentagon: The JSDF capitalized on the anime adaptation of ''Gate'' by incorporating it into their [[http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2015/06/27/summer-tv-anime-gate-featured-on-jsdf-recruitment-posters recruitment posters]]. Furthermore, the JSDF also provided technical assistance to anime so they could get information on the equipment they use. It helps that Takumi Yanai, the author of the original novels, is a former member of the JSDF himself.
