From time to time, Creator/CartoonNetwork would run an ad during a commercial break more often than others. Just like Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network is a children's network, so they sometimes have to play certain ads multiple times in order to freshen their audiences' minds and persuade them to buy the sponsored products.

!!Examples:
* One of the local advertisements aired in the Raleigh, North Carolina area is for a local chain of frozen custard shops called Rita's. The commercial runs about fifteen seconds, entirely occupied by a jingle, and typically bookends one of the other commercials in the break.
* The Creator/ShirleyTemple [[https://youtu.be/7kMZ5kuF7Oo Little Darling DVD Collection]] was another overplayed one during the 2000s and 2010s. It ran for many years, giving off the impression that no one actually bought it. Legends say that it's still airing to this day, on other networks.
* From 2011 to 2012, the ad for the game ''Doggie Doo'' played every commercial break.
* In the weeks leading up to the theatrical release of ''Film/DiaryOfAWimpyKid: Rodrick Rules'', Cartoon Network only had one ad for it but loved showing it anyway, airing it once nearly every commercial break - there was at least one occasion they even aired it ''thrice'' in a row.
* As of November 2015, they love airing ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' ads every single break, even showing two different ones in the same break.
* In the late 90s, Cartoon Network often played the same commercials over and over late at night. It eventually got to the point where fans of ''WesternAnimation/SpaceGhostCoastToCoast'', which normally aired at 11:30 PM on Fridays, turned some of the commercials that aired into an inside joke.
* [[https://youtu.be/0822Flgj-HM This ad for Turner Broadcasting's online shop from 2003]] not only aired during commercial breaks often, but sometimes played two times in a row during the later hours of ''Creator/CartoonCartoonFridays'' blocks. Its successor from 2004, [[http://www.adforum.com/creative-work/ad/player/46601/what-s-a-bamzu/bamzu the Bamzu ad]], was given similar treatment.
* Boomerang played the same shorts and ads literally all day back when they had the toy bumpers. This went away sometime in 2014, when Boomerang became ad supported and started to air ads for toys and more. But before then, here's what you'd see in a Boomerang break: promos for shows like WesternAnimation/TheSmurfs1981 or WesternAnimation/TheFlintstones, those music videos (''Boomerang-a-Longs''), like the WesternAnimation/YogiBear one, a Cartoon Network Shortie, a [[WesternAnimation/CartoonNetworkGroovies Groovie]], ads for new Cartoon Network episodes or shows and (beginning in 2008) Cartoon Network Wedgies. What didn't help is the toy bumpers itself, some of them are just real Main/NightmareFuel. Like, the "This Is" Boomerang bumper, the bumper with the push puppets moving around by themselves, or even the "Boomeraction" bumpers, which would pretty much cause seizures. While these bumpers were creepy, nearly every person who grew up with the old Boomerang wants them back.
** From 2008 to 2011, it seemed that the Cartoon Network bumpers were nothing but for their live-action shows.
** From 2010 to 2014, if a Cartoon Network show (mainly ''WesternAnimation/AdventureTime'') was getting a [=DVD=] release, good luck trying to go one, just '''one''', commercial break without seeing an ad for it.
** As of 2015, Boomerang constantly airs [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8B64qtSkS9s this promo]] for ''WesternAnimation/TomAndJerry'' in nearly every commercial break. "What's the matter with that crazy cat?" ended up going through MemeticMutation. This has died down as of March 2020 (to the point where it's rarely shown on the network anymore, probably ''because'' of the ad over saturation).
** Since 2023, they are fond of playing an [=ABCMouse=] commercial about their collaboration with [=SunMaid=] raisins.
** Also, starting in September 2018, nearly EVERY commercial break on Boomerang, there is the same promo for Boomerang Theater and ''WesternAnimation/BeCoolScoobyDoo'' until 2020, the ads for Tom and Jerry and Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! were eventually replaced with repeating ads for ''WesternAnimation/TheTomAndJerryShow2014'' and ''WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooAndGuessWho''. As for the Boomerang Theater commercial, they even play it [[CreditsPushback during the credits of cartoons]] such as ''WesternAnimation/WackyRaces'' and ''WesternAnimation/TheFlintstones''.
** One notable ad that repeated during the pre-2014 era was [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnfWN-hyF5c the Boomerang-A-Long]] for ''Series/TheBananaSplits'', to the point where its overplay caused it to be a MemeticMutation in 2019.
*** Other Boomerang-A-Longs that played a lot were the ''WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooWhereAreYou'' theme song, and a ''WesternAnimation/JosieAndThePussycats'' music video.
** Ever since April 2023, they frequently play a ''Franchise/LooneyTunes'' ad that opens with Bugs Bunny saying "I knew I should have taken that left toin at Albakoiky."
* During the premiere of the ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse'' special "Change Your Mind", one of two commercials for ''Film/AlitaBattleAngel'' played every commercial break. Sometimes, a break ended with the other ''Alita'' commercial.
* During the summer of 2015, one could not go a single commercial break without seeing [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJ5-NSoiLvw this]] Twinkle Toes ad. There was also a certain commercial for Wendy's that played during nearly every break.
* In the fall of 2015, Cartoon Network spammed this ''Franchise/{{Bratz}}'' [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnjHhBRRsPE commercial]] during nearly every break.
* In general, CN ''loves'' playing Creator/ChuckECheese ads:
** There's a certain ad that opens with the line "At Chuck E. Cheese, kids really know how to birthdaayyyyy!" that CN '''loves''' playing during '''every''' commercial break as of June 2019. Yes, this includes commercials on the website and app too. Sometimes the ad will air two times during a single break.
** As of late June 2022, Cartoon Network can’t go without airing the Chuck E. Cheese Summer of Fun ad during almost every commercial break. They once aired it 3 times in one break.
* ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGo'' is notorious for its ads succumbing to this trope:
** In 2015, Cartoon Network repeatedly ran ads for ''Teen Titans Go!'' that proclaimed it "Your New Favorite Show". It was hard to escape; it got to the point where the ad aired on ''Creator/{{Toonami}}'' every break, it played on other channels, and one blogger reported that it had been [[https://web.archive.org/web/20150908171951/http://moviepilot.com/posts/2015/06/21/no-cartoon-network-teen-titans-go-isn-t-our-new-favorite-show-3324862?lt_source=external,manual playing on a loop on queue line monitors over at Six Flags!]] This campaign was enough to irk those who aren't fans of the new series.
** During a ''Craig of the Creek'' airing on July 13, 2023, a ''Teen Titans GO!'' commercial featuring the Doom Patrol played during the credits, then immediately played the same commercial again as part of the normal commercial break.
** This also tends to happen with any ''Teen Titans Go!'' special, with the ads for them starting over a month in advance and being spammed into nearly every commercial break.
* More commonly or not, an ad for Tyson Tater Tots would air twice in a row nearly every break from 2008 until 2010.
* On the premiere of the ''[[Anime/PokemonTheSeriesDiamondAndPearl Pokémon: DP Galactic Battles]]'' episode "Battling A Cute Drama!" on September 26, 2009, an Empire Today ad about window treatments played twice during the 90-second local slot on what was then known as Cablevision [[note]] it's now known as Altice [[/note]], sandwiched by an "Optimum Wi-Fi is Everywhere" ad.
** As of May 2019, the practice of airing two Empire Today ads during the same local slot is fairly common on Cartoon Network airings of ''WesternAnimation/TotalDramaRama''. It also happens on other shows, too, like when two of their ads played during the local slot in between airings of two ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGo'' episodes ("Butt Atoms" and "The Bergerac") during the ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGoVsTeenTitans'' marathon on February 17, 2020.
** Empire Today ads were also common during the local slot of Cartoon Network programming on other cable providers during TheNewTens.
* During the ad break before the ''ComicStrip/USAcres'' segment of ''WesternAnimation/GarfieldAndFriends'' on the 2019 Boomerang run, the same five ads for ''WesternAnimation/PAWPatrol True Metal'', ''Anime/{{Bakugan}}'', [=ABCMouse.com=], ''Franchise/{{Transformers}}'' and Lunchables would make up most of that particular break.
** On the break following the ''U.S. Acres'' segment, an ad for an ''Toys/LOLSurprise'' camper van playset will always show up.
** Before the segment "Break A Leg" in the first broadcast of the remastered 42nd episode, the same Lunchables ad mentioned earlier aired twice in the same break.
* During the November 16-17, 2019 broadcast of Toonami, a commercial for the Ham & Cheddar-flavored Hot Pockets played almost literally ''every single commercial break'', with it being aired as either the first commercial or every other commercial each time.
* The premiere of the sing-along version of ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverseTheMovie'' featured back-to-back commercials for the Nintendo Switch, plus frequent ads for the Switch game ''VideoGame/AnimalCrossingNewHorizons.''
* The premiere of ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverseFuture'''s four episode finale had commercials for Pop-Tarts Crisps (one of two), Dove Shower Foam, and Honey Nut Frosted Flakes in every break.
* As of 2020, it's nearly impossible to go through a single commercial break without seeing the Frosted Flakes "Bring Out the Tiger" ad. It's been repeated so much that it's starting to become a meme within the network's fanbase, most notoriously after a poorly-timed ad break occurred during a ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverseFuture'' premiere that lead to said ad.
* Cartoon Network sometimes likes to do this with promos for their upcoming events:
** When the ''WesternAnimation/Ben10AlienForce'' special "Ultimate Alien" was announced, Cartoon Network showed the promo for it nearly every break, starting over a month in advance.
** During the "Every [[WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse Steven]] Ever" marathon that aired on Labor Day Weekend 2019, a ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverseTheMovie'' promo aired during every break, in fact, it aired so much that it even aired on Adult Swim!
** When the ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGo'' special "The Night Begins To Shine 2: You're the One" was going to premiere, the network aired the ad for it nearly every commercial break starting at the end of May 2020. The special didn't even air until ''July 10th''.
* Around the Christmas holidays in 2015 on both Cartoon Network and its sister network {{Creator/Boomerang}}, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4B7zyMIMxcY this commercial for]] ''Elf Pets'' would be a common sight. Became HilariousInHindsight in 2018 when the former network broadcast the ''Elf Pets: Santa's Saint Bernard Save Christmas'' special for the first time.
* On a repeat of the ''Teen Titans Go!'' episode "Where Exactly on the Globe Is Carl Sanpedro?" on August 14, 2020, the ad for Snap Ships played twice in one commercial break.
* During the ''Teen Titans Go!'' crossover with ''WesternAnimation/DCSuperheroGirls'' on May 31, 2021, an ad for Got Milk? repeated at least 3 times during commercial breaks.
* During an airing of Film/StarWarsThePhantomMenace on September 9, 2021, they aired a LEGO Luigi ad twice in one commercial break.
* Just like on its competitor, Barbie ads play every hour or half hour. Sometimes, a single ad may air twice, or two different Barbie ads may be shown in one break. There have been multiple instances of three Barbie ads airing in one break.
* During a ''WesternAnimation/CraigOfTheCreek'' marathon to hype up the "Heart of the Forest" event, the top of every commercial break started with an ad for said event followed by the same commercial for ''WesternAnimation/LooneyTunesCartoons''. A Froot Loops commercial with a dancing Toucan Sam also played every break, as did a UsefulNotes/McDonalds commercial advertising ''WesternAnimation/Elemental2023'' toys.
