1	En route to a hospital benefit, Johnny is distracted by a strange robot. When he disappears after incinerating it, the Fantastic Four find him on trial before the Kree, an alien race, for destroying their sentries. With Reed as his lawyer and Susan and Ben as witnesses for the defense, the team attempts to get out of this latest scrape. But against a powerful and unfriendly alien race, will it be enough to save Johnny?

3	* AngerBornOfWorry: After Johnny gets reprieved, Susan hugs him. When he tells her he's fine, she answers that as soon as she's done with the hug, he's in big trouble for getting himself into this situation in the first place. Johnny gulps.
4	* AnimalMecha: The Kree call out some robot lions to execute Johnny. Later, one gets batted into the stands and attacks a Kree kid, allowing Johnny to prove himself.
5	* BigSisterInstinct: When Johnny disappears, Susan becomes so angry even Reed is nervous.
6	* FaintInShock: Susan passes out when Reed tells her that Johnny has been "transported to another galaxy." Luckily, Reed's elasticity allows him to shoot out an arm to catch her before she hits the ground.

8	* GoThroughMe: Seeing a robot lion encroaching on a crying Kree boy, Johnny damages [[PowerLimiter the collar suppressing his powers]] through sheer effort and dives between the beast and the child to give him time to escape.
9	* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: At the core of this episode, it explores that although Johnny can be immature and reckless, what truly defines him as a person is that he will do the right thing when the chips are down. Despite that Ronan had recordings of all the horrible things Johnny had ever done, what ultimately clears him of all charges is when he saves a Kree child from being mauled on simple principle.
10	* KangarooCourt: The Kree don't seem to be giving the Four much of a shot at proving Johnny's innocence. Admittedly, Johnny makes things easy by giving them multiple moments of [[LethallyStupid lethal stupidity]] to bring up.
11	* LastMinuteReprieve: Johnny and the others get pardoned by the Supremor after Johnny saves a Kree child.

13	** While Reed is trying to locate Johnny, Susan is standing over him. He tells her that the situation is complicated and it may take time, to which Susan just asks where Johnny is in PunctuatedForEmphasis mode. Reed swallows hard and starts tapping very fast on the keyboard.
14	** When Susan tells Johnny that he's in big trouble once she's done hugging him, the now-nervous Johnny gulps loudly.
15	* OffScreenCrash: when Ben jumps off the building to go stand in for the rest of the team, there is a screech of tires and loud honking, coupled with Ben yelling, "Hey, I'm landing here!"
16	* ShoutOut: by Johnny, upon awakening in the Kree courtroom.

18	* SmackOnTheBack: Ben slaps Reed on the back when he tells him that standing in for the rest of the team at the benefit will be a cakewalk next to Reed's job, "keeping Suzy from tying you in knots." Reed winces.
