3	The kids of the Cul-de-sac are enjoying the day to themselves, but when realizing the Eds haven't popped up as usual, they start to suspect it's too good to be true and go investigating.

This ends up being worse for Kevin, as him not knowing where the Eds are drives him into increasing paranoia.

29	** Jonny swings on a rope that eventually snaps, leaving him dangling for dear life. Rolf tries to rescue him by swinging on another rope, but crashes into a tree, opens the banana box by accident, and buries himself in the fruits.
30	** Nazz tries to ride down a spiral slide, but it crashes down and severs the bridge that Jimmy and Sarah were playing on.
31	* DoesNotLikeSpam: Rolf dislikes raisins, which is unfortunate for him since they seem to be Jimmy's favorite cookie and there were only raisin cookies at his celebration party. Rolf confuses the raisins in the cookies with rabbit droppings, and when Kevin corrects him on what they are, he insists they're the same thing.
32	* DoubleMeaningTitle: "See No Ed" references "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil", the famous proverb embodied by the three wise monkeys. It also refers to the Eds' sudden disappearance, which kickstarts the plot.
33	* DramaticIrony: When we finally see that the Eds are looking for a missing mask for Ed's chimp costume, Edd worries that their Chimp World will be AllForNothing if they don't find it soon. Too bad for them, it's already too late, as the other kids have already discovered, played with, and broke Chimp World with them not around, meaning the whole scam was a bust.
34	* FlatWhat: Kevin when Rolf asks him if he can "rub Kevin's belly with the oils of fermented figs".
35	* {{Foreshadowing}}: The ''single'' area none of the kids checked? The alleyway. Turns out that the Eds were there the whole time.
36	* GenreSavvy: Just before Jimmy takes his turn with the skateboard, Kevin warns him by lampshading the Eds will be around soon to wreck their fun. Although Kevin was wrong in this episode, he was right to assume the Eds will spoil their day like in previous episodes.
37	* GoofyPrintUnderwear: Nazz is shown to wear green boxers with pink hearts when she loses her pants.
38	* HandOrObjectUnderwear: In the ending iris-in, Edd is obviously covering his privates with his hands.
39	* HelpImStuck: Nazz yells this when her head gets stuck in a tire.
40	* HeWhoFightsMonsters: This episode makes it apparent how much being scammed and harassed by the Eds has worn down on the other kids, especially Kevin. Just ''one day'' without the Eds' scams or antics leads him to go ''insane from paranoia''.
41	* IWarnedYou: Edd: "I'd be the last to say I told you so, but if ''I'' had been in charge of..."
42	* IWishedYouWereDead: The kids celebrate the Eds' absence at first, but after a while become unsettled, and even a bit remorseful. Jimmy even admits he used every birthday wish wanting them to go away forever, and isn't so sure of it now.
43	* JerkassHasAPoint: [[OnlySaneMan Kevin]] is portrayed as this when it comes to the Eds, twice:
44	** He claims that the Eds' absence is all part of their next scam. Sure enough, the kids run into a clearly makeshift, unsafe theme park called "Chimp World", built by the Eds.
45	** Considering the ensuing chaos, he was right to warn the kids not to go in Chimp World.
46	* JerkassRealization: The other kids are elated by the Eds being gone. After a while however, their absence becomes unsettling and some of them start to show concern that something genuinely bad has happened to them. By their own admission, they wanted to be rid of them, but not ''that'' badly.
47	* LowerDeckEpisode: This episode is mostly just to show what the Cul-de-sac does without the Eds and then how they would react to the Eds' absence.
48	* NakedPeopleAreFunny: The episode ends with Eddy stripping himself and his friends down to their underwear to find Ed's monkey mask. He takes it a step further by removing Double D's pants ''and'' underwear, leaving him completely nude.
49	* ParanoiaGambit: How do the Eds invoke this in Kevin? By simply not showing up at all. A rare accidental case.
50	* PoorCommunicationKills: Even though Kevin advised them not to do so, the kids went and played on the Chimp World slides anyways.
51	* TheReveal: So where ''have'' the Eds been this entire time? The alleyway, where they've been searching for Ed's missing monkey mask - the same one that Jonny found in the drink cooler.
52	* RunningGag: Each place that Jonny recounts having been features him having his head stuck on something.
53	* SanitySlippage: Kevin has been left so worn down by the Eds' antics that just a day of them being suspiciously absent leaves him increasingly paranoid that they're up to something.
54	* ShouldersUpNudity: When Edd is stripped, he's only seen nude from the shoulders up. This is because Eddy swiped his underwear by accident.

57	** Nazz mimics Tarzan while playing on the Chimp World ropes.

59	* SympatheticPOV: One of the episodes most focused on the other kids and thus humanizing their vendetta with the Eds and how putting up with them for most of their lives has worn down on their nerves.
60	* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Kevin's fate is left unknown, other than the fact that the Eds and the viewer hears him scream for some reason.
61	* WhatTheHellHero: While not exactly a hero, Kevin gets called out by the kids for abandoning them when they all cry for his help.
