!!Tropes found in this episode include:

''Overall'':
* AnimationBump: The retake animation by Creator/JonMcclenahan, most of which was seen in later syndicated and FOX reruns, but never made it to cable or DVD (the original inferior Encore animation is used, for the most part.) [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RX9QJHtB7M0 See the difference]].
* CreditsGag: '''The Show is Over''': Go Do Your Homework!
* MusicalEpisode: Buster and Babs sing throughout all the wraparounds. (Though the shorts otherwise aren't this.)
* MythologyGag: In the first wraparound, Bugs is shown teaching the "[[AmbiguousSyntax He doesn't have to shoot you now]]" gag from ''WesternAnimation/RabbitSeasoning''.
* ThreeShorts

''The Learning Principal'':
* ActuallyPrettyFunny: Montana Max can be seen laughing with the students near the end when Buster continues to pull tricks on Yosemite Sam.
* ArsonMurderAndJaywalking: The punishments the Great and Powerful Principal considers using on Buster include boiling him in oil, stretching him out on a rack, and [[RunningGag confiscating his stereo]].
* ClassClown: Buster, which leads to him getting sent to the Principal's office. [[spoiler:Near the end, it is revealed that the class was '''Class Clowning 101''', and the real reason why Buster was sent there because his pranks weren't funny enough for him to pass.]]
* {{Foreshadowing}}: "You won't get anywhere in this class pulling these baby tricks!" [[spoiler: Until TheReveal, you might assume that Yosemite Sam was just talking about the fact that Buster was pulling these pranks in general.]]
* FlyingFace: The apparent appearance of the principal.
* HairTriggerTemper: Yosemite Sam is in this episode. 'Nuff said.
* IfYouDieICallYourStuff: The running gag of people asking Buster if they can have his stereo if he doesn't survive his encounter with the principal.
* TheReveal: This episode is two-for-two in this regard: [[spoiler: The principal is actually none other than Bugs Bunny, and the reason Yosemite Sam sent Buster to the principal's office in the first place was because ''he wasn't pranking Yosemite Sam hard enough''. See, Yosemite Sam teaches the ''Class Clown'' class at ACME Loo.]]
* RunningGag: People asking Buster if they can have his stereo as he walks to his apparent doom.
-->'''Buster''': [[LampshadeHanging Geez! Am I the only around here with a CD player??]]
* ShoutOut: The appearance (and reveal) of the principal is a fairly obvious reference to ''Film/TheWizardOfOz''.

''Eating Between The Lines'':
* AffectionateParody: Hits on some of the beats of ''WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes''' "characters-in-book-store-come-to-life-when-no-one's-around" shorts like ''WesternAnimation/BookRevue''.
* LibraryEpisode: This episode's events takes place in the ACME Looniversity library.
* OnionTears: Sweetie and Bookworm visit a book called ''The Onion Field'' with predictable results.
* PortalBook: Bookworm and Sweetie travel into and out of books throughout the short.

''What's Up, Nurse?'':
* AssShove: The short's title card seems to be depicting Elmyra about to use a rectal thermometer on Plucky.
* CruelTwistEnding: By the time Plucky fesses up and wants to do the test again in order to get away from Elmyra, he's legitimately injured. Because of this, he must have a tutor for his school studies while he's out. Guess who it is.
* NurseWithGoodIntentions: Elmyra. One example would be her trying to use a defibrillator on Plucky's head.
* PlayingSick: How Plucky attempts to get out of the test. He pays for it dearly.
