* Enemies: Almost none; few would survive truly angering him. That being said, he's on bad terms with [[Pantheon/{{Toxicity}} the Lich]], [[Pantheon/{{Harbingers}} Fenrir]] and [[Pantheon/{{Villainy}} Melkor]]
* Respects: Anyone who has sworn off a "noninterference" clause to help or meet those below them, such as Tyrael
* Disrespects: The Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfDestruction, [[Pantheon/{{Humanoids}} Father Homunculus]], abusive siblings.
* Conflicting Opinion: [[Pantheon/DivineBehavior Beerus]]
* In the universe's infancy, the basic aspects and patterns of the universe would manifest into [[CosmicEntity sentient beings]]. They would be known as the Endless, and the fourth of their number would be Destruction. For billions of years he would serve as an agent of change, but eventually wished to retire from his role, seeking to explore the flip side of the Endless; for him, the subject of creation. Easily the most beloved of the Endless; even [[{{Jerkass}} Desire]] respected him. Most gods are generally on good terms with him, and it's considered really poor [[BewareTheNiceOnes to piss him off]].
* The pantheon was fascinated by the fact an Endless could leave their role, leading some thoughts as to whether other Endless could have their power taken away. All Grand Alliances are considering this covertly, even the GUAG [[GodzillaThreshold in case they have no other options]]. It hasn't gotten anywhere though.
* Is on good terms with Wreck-It Ralph, due to their mutual [[CommonalityConnection poor skills at creating things]]. Friends with Satan Jacob, due to having adopted a simple life from a formerly godly title.
* Conflicted on Beerus. While he represents destruction and understands he has to do his duty, he is disturbed by the God of Destruction's tendency to destroy planets. Beerus respects him, however, regarding Destruction as [[TheMentor a mentor]] of sorts like [[Pantheon/TimeManipulation Whis]].
* It's believed that when Destruction of the Endless left his role, Fenrir would try to fill the hole. Destruction isn't pleased by Fenrir's desire [[OmnicidalManiac to destroy everything forever]] and has warned the wolf not to try and break creation [[ComicBook/{{Lucifer}} again]]. Fenrir has listened to him for the moment. Also does not like the GUAD. Destruction is ultimately a force of change, and it as much about creation as destruction. They're a perversion of the act in his eyes, and he doesn't want anything to do with them.
* One of the main reasons why Destruction left his role was due to the coming of the Age of Reason, eventually leading to the invention of the atomic bomb. Destruction didn't want any part in it. Naturally, he's pretty disturbed about the Lich, [[NuclearMutant being the worst nuclear weapons have to offer]].
* Due to representing both Destruction and Creation, the Alliances have all made it a top priority to either get him on their side or at least keep him away from the other sides, since he has abandoned the usual duties of the Endless, which prevent them from directly involving themselves, most of the time.
* Not usually found in the Pantheon, due to the other members of the Endless often being present, instead, going on the road to view the world(s). He has so far not expressed any interest in joining any of the Grand Alliances or a specific group but is often willing to aid anyone who stops by his residence.
* Has decided to explore the other side of his abilities in the form of creation, leading him to WalkingTheEarth. Problem is, he's really bad at it. [[CreativeSterility Part of his nature makes him bad at creativity]]. He still tries, of course. He and Nero became friends as they're both GiftedlyBad. It's rather ironic that despite being bad at crafts, he's by far the strongest god in the House of Crafts. As he has a role with creation along with destruction, [[Pantheon/UndeadAndPhasmata Nekron]] has placed him as one of the possible suspects for where [[Pantheon/LifeAndCreation the Life Entity]]. He finds it more likely that his sister Death is the source, but is in enough trouble as it is with her and has less to worry about if he bothers Destruction.
* Melkor could be considered somewhat of a {{Foil}} to Destruction of the Endless. Both suffer from CreativeSterility, but they have completely different personalities about it. While Destruction is a NiceGuy, Melkor let his contempt for lacking [[Pantheon/DivineRoles Eru's]] creative spark poison his soul, becoming the GreaterScopeVillain for all Arda. The Dark Lord once challenged him in order to invade and destroy his house, which resulted in [[CurbStompBattle Melkor being thrown around the Pantheon like a rag doll]]. Destruction has warned him never to enter the House of Craft again
* Resembles BRIAN BLESSED a lot. It's currently unknown whether Destruction based his appearance on him or BRIAN BLESSED on Destruction. [[TimeyWimeyBall Hell, it could be both]]. Also had a talking dog called Barnabus. He's since given him to [[Pantheon/MadnessAndInsanity Delirium]] to look after her.

* Respects: [[Pantheon/{{Sinners}} Kratos]]
* Respected by: Most from Myth/ClassicalMythology
* One of the most powerful entities in the Pantheon/{{Nintendo}} multiverse, Dyntos is the God of the Forge, [[RealityWarper a title understating his true power]]. While Dyntos can essentially recreate anything he could, [[SpontaneousWeaponCreation he just sticks to creating weapons of his own image]]. [[EleventhHourSuperpower He even gave Pit the weapon that defeated Hades]]. Managed to ascend due to his power, waving high to the angel and goddess he helped out.
* [[InsistentTerminology Prefers to be called Lord Dyntos]]. He has to remind that to everyone, especially to the Greek gods. Despite not being actually part of their pantheon, Dyntos is held with the utmost respect even by the most {{Jerkass}} of them. Likely done so out of fear.
** Speaking of which, Vulcan begged Dyntos to take him on as an apprentice. After seeing Dyntos’ creations, [[AlwaysSomeoneBetter the god felt pretty underwhelmed by his skill in comparison]]. Dyntos is pretty sure that Vulcan has achieved mastery over weapon-making not to the insane degree Dyntos has but is willing to teach him a trick or two to him.
* Hades was utterly pissed that Dyntos was here, considering the guy made the weapon that killed him. Tried calling Dyntos out for trying to interfere but Dyntos shot back since Hades [[CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot caused the war to happen in the first place]]. Hades wanted to just straight-up attack him but knew [[CurbStompBattle he’d lose instantly]], so he backed off.
* Rodin and Dyntos are drinking buddies apparently. [[ImpossiblyCoolWeapon Their weapon style is much closer to one another also help]]. They tend to talk about them and try coming up with new ideas. Dyntos has the power to return Rodin to his original glory but the bartender declined, being happy with his job.
* Destruction of the Endless approached Dyntos and asked for help with creating things since Destruction [[PersonOfMassDestruction seems to repeatedly break everything he tries making]]. Dyntos agreed to help out. Progress has been going slow as in really, ''really'' slow. Dyntos isn't even sure if it is possible to help Destruction with his issue.
** Speaking of destruction, Beerus and Dyntos struck a friendship despite coming from entirely different sides. Dyntos creates foes for Beerus to fight with, just so the God of Destruction [[DeadlyTrainingArea keeps up with his training]]. Dyntos even created a Pseudo-Beerus just to make fun of him and an unamused Beerus [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill promptly blew it up]]. In hindsight, Dyntos should have seen this coming.
* Doesn’t think too highly of Sauron or his superior Melkor. Sauron was technically a FallenAngel, being a blacksmith for the Maia [[TheCorrupter until he was convinced by Melkor with the promises of power]]. Dyntos just sighed, saying it was so much potential wasted.
* Somehow respects Kratos, the man who felled Olympus shockingly enough. Dyntos understands why every god there hates Kratos since [[RageAgainstTheHeavens he kinda blew up all of Greece in the process of his rampage]]. He admires the Spartan’s determination and how skilled he is using a weapon. Dyntos even considered making a weapon for him [[MassOhCrap but knew how much panic that would cause]].
* Is highly respected by Vulcan of the Imperium of Man, who was raised by a race of forgers. Wonders if Dyntos had some influence on his planet’s culture. Even if Dyntos did for some reason, he would most likely not remember such a thing.
* [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu Was one of those turned to Spirits by Galeem]]. [[DidntSeeThatComing Dyntos was caught by surprise as he was busy at the moment]] and was thoroughly pissed after learning this AngelicAbomination had the gall to blast him. Also despises Dharkon, seeing as it is just a DarkerAndEdgier Galeem. Wants both of them to get offed from existence itself.
* Extremely ''hated'' by Barbatos. Dyntos reminds Barbatos of his former master, [[spoiler:Alpheus the World Forger]] to such a degree that he thought Dyntos was him for a moment. Barbatos wants to take Dyntos' powers for himself and destroy everything the God of the Forge creates [[EvilIsPetty out of spite]].
* Absolutely wary of The Nothing, as it encompasses [[ImaginationDestroyer the cessation of existence itself]]. Nekron and Zamasu too, the former for his [[OmnicidalManiac wishes to destroy all life]] and the latter for [[HatesEveryoneEqually having an extreme prejudice against not just mortals but everyone who is even slightly opposed to him]].
** Particularly wary of the Anti-Monitor as well, as Dyntos does not believe he has the power to even stop whatever the Anti-Monitor is. He and the Monitor have allied together to help stop the Anti-Monitor if he goes rampant.
* The Divine Powers once offered the God of the Forge a place in their ranks. Dyntos, who is not power-hungry despite his insistence over his authority rejected the proposal, citing that gods like the Divine Powers only invite their own destruction. He's said so many times to the likes of Zanza and Chakvaritan [[IgnoredExpert when nobody ever listens]].
* Is not fond of the gods of Paradiso and Inferno [[HeavenVersusHell for their constant bickering between each other]]. Doesn't have that high of an opinion of Aesir, or at least his evil side, Loptr. Became friends with Loki, Aesir's goodness incarnated despite all of this and would want the kid to be his own person.

* Drawcia is a sorceress born from a mysterious painting and sought to turn the whole world around her into a painting. After Dream Land turned into a world of paint, Kirby clashed with Drawcia, but ended up getting turned into a ball in the process and had to traverse through many different worlds before catching up to her and undoing all the damage she caused. One of her tools at her disposal is the Magical Paintbrush, which ended up helping Kirby in his quest and while she does appear as a witch at first glance, she’ll transform into a nightmarish blob of paint in an effort to destroy anyone that opposes her.
* A strange painting appeared in the Pantheon one day, with no one having any idea where it originated from. Someone thought it was a good idea to make a profit out of it and decided to have it be an item at an auction. The event was going smoothly until the painting itself was ready to be auctioned off. As the number of bids increased, the painting was starting to act strangely and just as the patrons were about to notice what was wrong, a sorceress emerged from the art and proceeded to turn her surroundings into a painting. News of the auction gone awry spread and Kirby, realizing what was going on and who was responsible, headed to where the chaos was at and fought Drawcia once more. After defeating her again, the painting that Drawcia originated in was taken to a far off place where she can’t unleash her attacks. Even if everything was fixed for the time being, it didn’t change the fact that Drawcia was going to be plotting revenge and making sure that any major threats to her, especially Kirby, are eliminated in the process.
* Leonardo da Vinci and Vincent van Gogh were horrified to learn of a vengeful painting that wanted to reshape the world to her own image and have done everything they can to distance themselves from her. A trio hailing from The Painting learned about Drawcia from their meeting with Kirby and they really weren’t happy with how destructive she is. It was one thing for that trio to go outside a painting with the intent to finish the work they’re from while dealing with internal prejudice, but they really don’t want to do anything that Drawcia is trying to pull off. Ramo, Lola, and Quill are also worried that what Drawcia is attempting could end up having a negative impact within The Painting, particularly if she ends up creating some minions to attack that setting so that she can take The Painting for herself.
* The Magical Paintbrush served as her primary tool, though it later helped Kirby put an end to Drawcia’s plans, with Drawcia using other attacks to thwart the puffball. After hearing of a Celestial Brush, Drawcia sought to get her hands on it in the hopes that it can be an effective tool to help in her conquest. Amaterasu, a wolf who owned the Celestial Brush and was being targeted, wasn’t pleased to learn that there was someone with skill over art that wanted to take over the world and found herself in a battle against Drawcia with their surroundings being corrupted by Drawcia’s influence. In addition to easily defeating Drawcia, Amaterasu was able to return the surrounding area back to normal after driving the witch out of the area, making it clear that the Celestial Brush is not meant to be used for evil.
* Bowser Jr.’s initial attempt at antagonizing Mario involved using a Magic Paintbrush (not the same one that Drawcia originally had) that can cover entire landscapes in gunk and he took advantage of it to put Mario in a bad position. While Bowser Jr. has since moved on from using paintbrushes and opted to use a Koopa Clown Car for his subsequent attempts at attacking Mario, Drawcia was curious about Bowser Jr.’s former tool and has tried looking for it. This resulted in her terrorizing E. Gadd, the creator of the Magic Paintbrush, who told her that he has no intention of giving his inventions to villains like her. It was only the efforts of Kirby and Luigi that drove Drawcia out of E. Gadd’s lab. As for Bowser Jr., while he’s still in ownership of that Magic Paintbrush, he’s fine with letting Drawcia use it whenever she wants something to do.
* The Inklings have proven to be a frequent source of irritation for Drawcia. Their constant competitions involving covering large areas and each other in ink has annoyed the witch, especially after some Inklings decided to head to one of Drawcia’s areas to have a Splat contest there. What happened afterwards was the area being covered in brightly covered ink and being a major eyesore for Drawcia. The fact that the ink ended up causing some damage as Drawcia was trying to repair her world left a really bad mark for her and Drawcia has sought to do whatever was necessary to get those troublemakers out of her sight. From what the Inklings saw of Drawcia’s domain, they found it to be rather unsettling for it to be a frequent place for their contests and really don’t like whatever it is that she’s planning.
* Of those who despise Drawcia’s actions, Friede and Ariandel harbor an intense hatred of the witch. While in theory Drawcia’s ability to turn the world around her into a painting could help The Painted World, it can potentially cause significant changes to the point that The Painted World could end up unrecognizable from what Friede and Ariandel are familiar with. In Friede’s view, anyone with that level of power to change The Painted World for the worse deserves to die and she, along with Ariandel, have done whatever they can to ensure that Drawcia doesn’t go anywhere near The Painted World. Drawcia herself is curious about that place and what it may hold, but she is aware that Friede and Ariandel aren’t going to go down that easily.
* Despite transforming Kirby into a ball to limit his abilities, she still ended up being defeated by him thanks to adapting to that form. It became clear that the last thing that Drawcia wants to put up with is another rolling ball that can crush through obstacles with ease and she’s grown to despise The Rock of Ages for that reason. Not helping matters is that The Rock of Ages has gone through different paintings in the past and influenced that paintings’ appearance in some way. That boulder somehow ended up in Drawcia’s domain and after a while, completely messed up her surroundings and disfigured her appearance for a while after fighting her. All that did was enrage Drawcia further after getting herself and her world back together and she has looked for ways to stop that boulder from coming back to her world.
* As far as other witches are concerned, Drawcia was only able to get a few of them on her side. Even if deities such as The Wicked Witch of the West and Kamek don’t really share the same goal of wanting the whole world to be a painting, they’re willing to work with Drawcia if it meant terrorizing others. Many other benevolent witches such as Akko (who sees Drawcia as another example of giving witches a bad name and was horrified after seeing what Drawcia Soul looked like) want no involvement in fulfilling Drawcia’s goal and have gone out of their way to impede Drawcia’s progress.
** The Puella Magi learned of another witch in the Pantheon, prompting Sayaki Miki and Kyoko Sakura to take action. They managed to find a painting leading to another world and found themselves in a strange land with a variety of enemies that seemed to have come from an artist. The two eventually reached Drawcia, who was responsible for the world she created and the enemies the two Puella Magi encountered. After a long and hard-fought battle, Sayaka and Kyoko were able to defeat Drawcia and escape her world. The two noticed that Drawcia looked like a witch they could have fought back in their world and they, alongside the other Puella Magi, are prepared to fight Drawcia again should the witch make another move.
* While Drawcia is a very powerful entity within Kirby’s universe when it comes to using paint as an attack, she isn’t the only one and there seems to be others possibly related to her. [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Paintra Paintra]], who Kirby encountered during his journey to find the Dreamstalk, seems to have a lot of similarities to Drawcia to the point that many believe that Paintra and Drawcia are sisters. [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Claycia Claycia]] is more different from Drawcia since she utilizes clay as her name suggests and only became temporarily evil as a result of being possessed by a malicious entity known as Dark Crafter, though some still believe there is a connection between her and Drawcia even if its questionable at best. [[https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Vividria Vividria]] was someone who Kirby fought against a few times and was able to recruit to his side alongside many other minor enemies. No one is entirely sure about how much the familial connections apply and just how evil the four truly are, especially given the aforementioned incident that happened to Claycia and that Vividria doesn’t have much of a problem telling her sisters (whether or not they really are Drawcia and Paintra is another discussion) about going on an adventure to stop troublemakers, be it with Kirby or with other minor enemies.

* Hephaestus is seen among his peers as a LoserDeity. [[DisabledDeity Lame legs]], TheGrotesque out of TheBeautifulElite and constantly cheated on by his wife. However he is ''not'' incompetent. The son of Zeus and Hera, Hephaestus is TheBlacksmith of the gods, crafting incredible weapons and other metal works [[ForgedByTheGods to benefit divinity and mortal alike]]. He's among the smartest in his family, and one of the more responsible with barely any JerkassGods moments. In Ancient Greece and later Rome under the name of Vulcan, he was still valued to those with the same or similar vocations.
* Hephaestus isn't an instigator of conflict within his BigScrewedUpFamily, [[ButtMonkey but a victim]]. While some say he was simply born lame, others say that either Zeus threw him off Mt Olympus in a row with Hera, or Hera threw him off for being TheGrotesque. He eventually got his revenge on the latter by setting a trap on her new throne, and the two were forced to hash out their differences. Ultimately Hera has come to appreciate him, and while Zeus is more of a {{Jerkass}} to him he still values his son. It's very much a [[TheDutifulSon dutiful son]] situation. He's got less issues with his foster mom ([[MultipleChoicePast or at least one of them]]) Thetis, and is chill with her kid Achilles as he helped make weapons for him. How he feels about other Greek gods varies.
** The marriage between him and Aphrodite [[UnwantedSpouse wasn't something they wanted]], but arranged by Zeus because he wanted to stop the gods from fighting over her. This worked, but she still [[SleepsWithEveryoneButYou bedded anyone but her husband]]. '''Especially''' [[AFamilyAffair his brother Ares]]. People have called Hephaestus a hypocrite as he had his own affairs, but he defended himself by saying it was less about her being unfaithful and more [[EmasculatedCuckold being humiliated with her unfaithfulness]]. He eventually divorced her (depending on the myth) and married Aglaea. [[VideoGame/{{Smite}} She says he was inattentive but admits both of them were unhappy]], and they prefer to keep their distance. Related to the adultery, Hephaestus and Helios are on good terms because he was the one who caught her with Ares and warned him of it so he could set up a trap for a "point and laugh cheater revenge".
** Hephaestus doesn't want to antagonize his former wife, however he absolutely wants to antagonize Ares. He was the one who humiliated him the most after all, and Ares' [[TheBully personality]] isn't doing their relationship any favors. This resentment is even greater than how he feels towards Mt Olympus' mortal foes, Cronus and Typhon. The latter is imprisoned in Mt. Etna, which happens to be his workplace, so Zeus feels [[SkewedPriorities he should really be more worried about Typhon than his douchebag brother]]. Said "douchebag brother" line only led to Ares being angry at his full brother more [[TheUnfavorite as Zeus still likes him the least, even compared to]] [[ButtMonkey Hephaestus]].
** Though he tries not to be a dick, he has a major sore spot with Athena; [[AttemptedRape he had tried to assault her]] after thinking she was up for a relationship. This failed but the "[[UnusualEuphemism godly release]]" fell on the ground and out emerged the half-snake Erichthonius, an early leader of Athens. It's the only time he pulled this kind of stunt but he admits it was a major dick move of his and the two have some trouble working with each other afterwards. Athena can thank him for cutting Zeus' head open so she could be born though, which may have been achieved with time travel [[ContinuitySnarl if Hera wanted to prove after Athena was born]] [[TrulySingleParent she could create Hephaestus on her own]]... or Prometheus did the head-cutting.
** Despite wanting to start over, some things just can't be forgotten. Forging one of his greatest weapons in all reality, Hephaestus was prepared to strike down Kratos for sins past. However, upon confronting the God of War, Hephaestus saw ''genuine sadness and guilt'' in Kratos' eyes over their history. With the fight taken out of him, he destroyed his tool of vengeance. Even through soundproof walls of the forge, gods could swear they heard Hephaestus sobbing over his lost daughter. Despite killing him so he may use his dear Pandora [[HumanSacrifice to access Pandora's Box]], Kratos shows no enmity towards Hephaestus [[PapaWolf as he did what any good father should do]]. And though most of Hephaestus' family may call Kratos a monster, he only hopes tragedy doesn't repeat itself with [[Pantheon/FightingStyles Atreus]]. Still, despite some mutual respect they've refused to talk to each other afterwards.
** On a lighter note, he and his uncle Hades have been getting along recently. Hephaestus initially felt Kratos gave him what he deserved, however he began to realize his "darker nature" [[EverybodyHatesHades was a consequence of mortals' grievance and misunderstanding]]. And of course, an imposter Hades worsening his reputation. After getting to seriously talk, Hephaestus has come to like his uncle for his dedication to his work and no-nonsense behavior, unlike a lot of the family drama he deals with. Helping their relationship was Hestia, the elder [[GodOfFire deity of fire]] [[MoralityPet who everyone loves]]. Hephaestus is also on relatively good terms with his demigod son Leo Valdez due to his heroism and sharing his clever personality. However they're somewhat estranged since he's pretty introverted and busy with his work.
** Hephaestus has made many useful tools for heroes and gods: Eros' arrow, the Aegis shield his dad and sister use and Heracles' bronze clappers are just some. He also crafts new thunderbolts, based off the original design the original cyclops gave to Zeus during the Titanomachy. The three are co-workers in Mt Etna. Recently they suggested the idea of [[AdaptationalAttractiveness devising a more attractive form]], [[Literature/IsItWrongToTryToPickUpGirlsInADungeon which he achieved]]... [[GenderFlip but became a woman as a result]]. [[AbledInTheAdaptation He/she got the use of his legs back too]], [[EyepatchOfPower but loses an eye in the trade-off]]. Afterwards he could be heard musing "I've gotta ask [[Pantheon/{{Reptiles}} Quetzacoatl]] what's with Japan [[VideoGame/FateGrandOrder and their]] [[Manga/MissKobayashisDragonMaid gender flips]] anyway?"
* Temperatures suddenly spiked within the House of Craft to the point that gods began to fear the walls would soon melt. When the source of this intense heat was discovered, the ringing of a hammer against metal greeted gatherers who found Hephaestus diligently working on one of his many marvels. For he is a GodOfFire, and the term "volcano" is even derived from his Roman name Vulcan. Working on Mt.Etna and making sure Typhon doesn't cause trouble, he naturally has a connection to both the Halls of Pantheon/FireAndHeat (where his aunt Hestia lives) and Pantheon/EarthAndRock. He initially tried to work with SCP-4338 on an exercise routine, but he was too lazy and belligerent so Hephaestus had to leave him.
* Hephaestus is one of the more introverted members of his family, as he's busy with work and making sacred metal work. With the expansive Trope Pantheon he's even more busy making stuff for the House of Weapons, Machinery and Technology to use. He's sometimes employed both Mr Meeseeks and Mr Deeds to help for the increased payload because of their dedication to achieving their goal... and he's smart enough to avoid Mr Meeseeks from pulling a MurderIsTheBestSolution by proper wording. Centuries before humans, Hephaestus was making automatons to aid him. He quickly became friends with another blacksmith god who also happens to be a machine: Autochthon. The latter suffered a lot of bullying from his peers due to his own disabilities, so he sees a lot of himself in the blacksmith god.
* Has a FriendlyRivalry with Dyntos and Rodin. Despite being seen as a LoserDeity Hephaestus takes great pride in his work, which he excels at. However unlike his more immature relatives he can easily put his pride aside to work with and admire the fellow divine blacksmiths, and even work with them to complete especially hard commissions. One more recent commission was a lightning bolt that could be wielded by a mortal, and said mortal was Benjamin Franklin; a fellow inventor naturally wants to study Hephaestus' craft. Hephaestus was surprised that Zeus didn't veto this for "trivializing lightning" and asked him what's up. Zeus admitted "I mean it does, but I still kind of like the guy. [[LovableSexManiac Three guesses why]]". Hephaestus also admits to liking Benjamin Franklin, but mainly because of his brilliant knack for inventing. [[KavorkaMan That said, he also likes him for much of the same reason Zeus does]].
* Because of Typhon's own ascension into the Trope Pantheon Zeus has severely admonished him for his breach in security and demanded he serve the forces of good more hands-on. Instead of questioning why [[JerkassGods Zeus would care about "good"]], Hephaestus [[JerkassHasAPoint knew as an ally of Greek heroes, Zeus' orders were wise]] and set to make amends for Typhon's escape. The primary forces of evil he's trying to stop are Sauron and the Factory. The former Hephaestus sees as a {{Foil}}: [[OrderIsNotGood a perfectionist of sorts]] and a builder in his own right, [[TheDarkSideWillMakeYouForget but let his inner darkness pervert his creative force to tyranny]]. As for The Factory, [[NightmarishFactory they pervert everything the blacksmith god stands for]].
* If you're an inventor or mechanic, Hephaestus will like you, even if it's just a little bit. He's got a soft spot for Dexter and the KND; he really likes the innovative BambooTechnology the latter use and he believes that if the Ancient Greeks had their skill in it, we would be talking about the Grecian Empire and not the Roman Empire. As for the former, they're introvert genius inventors so they found they have a fair bit to talk about. Other friends of Hephaestus due to their skills at making stuff and/or mechanic skills are Winry Rockbell and Phineas and Ferb. On the flip side while he does admire their skills, with his more active role in heroism due to Zeus' decrees, Dr Eggman and Wily have become enemies. They made the first move by pulling a heist of his factory, and are interested in somehow making Hephaestus help their schemes. [[PetTheDog On the bright side, neither make any fun of him]].
* An inventor and by all accounts a compassionate parent, he is naturally disgusted by Shou Tucker; the "scientist" is the worst kind of pathetic, and when you combine [[GuineaPigFamily what he's done]] [[AbusiveParents to kindred]] with [[SmallNameBigEgo overwhelming hubris]], you have Hephaestus' favorite CosmicPlaything. The "plaything" is also good stress relief for him after being utterly impotent to face off against [[DraconicAbomination the monstrous lava dragon]] Gohma Vlitra, who's heavily connected to all things volcanic [[LivingLava for obvious reasons]]. He'd wondered if Gaea had spawned yet another monster with [[Pantheon/{{Wardening}} Tartarus]] as part of a revenge scheme, but she flat-out denied this [[EveryoneHasStandards as even she thinks Gohma Vlitra is a freak]].
* One of the things he did before being prompted by Zeus was lending his aid with a Persona for Tatsuya Suou under the name 'Vulcanus'. Eventually he left the position for [[Pantheon/{{Weather}} Apollo]]. After thinking about it, Hephaestus has decided to lend his help to Luigi, as he naturally sides with the underdog. Luigi is glad, but he feels a bit bad since Hephaestus' relationship with his brother and family is ''way'' '''worse''' [[BigBrotherInstinct than his own]]. Guts, who managed to have an even worse background than Hephaestus but grew into a badass, was an AntiHero that Hephaestus chose to help by enhancing his Dragonslayer and figure out how to lessen the negative effects of the Berserker Armor. Guts slyly wondered if this has anything to do with him also being handicapped, but Hephaestus denied this and simply said "I admire your will and drive struggler; it's an inspiration".
* By a chance meeting with the reincarnated hero, Hephaestus asked Link if he might inspect the Master Sword. Link reluctantly let the Smith hold his sword, which he held close to his ear. With a smile, he returned the Blade of Evil's Bane and complimented that it was the most loyal sword he'd ever held. "She knows her master better than any other". He left the god a little confused as they parted ways. It was a better interaction than a certain Gilgamesh: he's grown more than a little annoyed and has taken to building fortifications to keep Gilgamesh and his demands for the Excalibur away. Seeing all this, Akainu tried to get Hephaestus' aid to help enforce absolute justice against pirates. Akainu isn't too mad about not getting a response, but mainly because Hephaestus didn't bother to say why; he's pretty put-off by Akainu's personality [[KnightTemplar for obvious reasons]].
* Recently Hephaestus was able to meet his Greek herald Sophitia as an equal, and the two spoke for a length of time. Hearing firsthand accounts of the malicious Soul Edge, the godly blacksmith has started drawing plans for a proper weapon to fell the cursed blade. Not to worry, he's also heard about the mistake about the creation of its "counter" Soul Calibur and how it became another threatening weapon to all creation with its excessive obsession on "Orde", so he's making sure his new weapon doesn't commit the same mistake. Another topic brought up was Rothion, Hephaestus' avatar who forged Sophitia's equipment. Knowing that only a mortal he truly respected could have such an honor, it was an unpleasant surprise to see [[DieForOurShip how unnecessarily hated the man was to mortals]]. Sophitia and Cassandra Alexandra are devout worshippers of the Greek gods, and Hephaestus crafted Sophitia her sword and shield since he was the Greek god most aware of Soul Edge's threat, so it's completely unsurprising they have a strong alliance with the blacksmith god.
* Because of his past abuse, Ares opposes the Child Abuse Supporters on principle. Ares considered him a hypocrite for this; [[InTheBlood just like their mother]] he punished his step-daughter/Ares' bio-daughter Harmonia with a cursed necklace on her wedding day [[AffairBlameTheBastard for representing Aphrodite's adultery]]. While Hephaestus admits this, [[EveryoneHasStandards he still agrees with Ares the Child Abuse Supporters are despicable]] and the one thing he actually likes about Ares is [[GoodParents he's a great dad]]. The past business with Harmonia [[TheAtoner is partly why he wants to support the Heroic Protectors of Family]]: he does not want his or his family's dysfunctions to be emulated or surpassed in anyone else.
* His claim of having moved past Aphrodite has been put under some scrutiny as of late due to his clear opposition towards Inanna. [[{{Expy}} The similarities between the two are obvious]], however Inanna is historically a lot more spiteful when spurned compared to Hephaestus' ex. She isn't interested in him, and hates that he projects his own frustrations of Aphrodite onto her. She attempted to pacify him by revealing [[VideoGame/FateGrandOrder despite her affairs, emotionally she only truly loved him and mourned his lost in the Olympiomachy]]. Hephaestus started crying, telling her ''that'' Aphrodite [[AlternateSelf is not his Aphrodite]]; for starters, he's pretty sure [[HumongousMecha she's not a mecha]]. He calmed down a bit learning of his Lostbelt counterpart; though said counterpart's mecha form was destroyed, his consciousness persisted in two different AI terminals. One of them was salvaged with parts of Prometheus to help run the City of the Gods.
* He has been getting into modern technology more recently by incarnating as a Franchise/{{Digimon}} called Vulcanusmon, having forged [[Pantheon/LandAndSeaTravel Beelzemon's]] guns. This is strictly business, [[NothingPersonal so any enemy of Beelzemon can complain to him instead]]. [[Series/AmericanGods2017 Due to the rise of new gods]] as Vulcan he's made a deal with said new gods to be a god of guns. He heads the Company Town of [[{{Egopolis}} Vulcan, Virginia]] and has learned to "franchise" his faith. This has caused more friction between him and his family because [[spoiler:he planned to sell out the Old Gods to the New Gods]].

* Opposed by: [[Pantheon/VillainousArchetypes Mephisto]], [[Pantheon/{{Angels}} Satan (Castlevania), Imperius]], [[Pantheon/ActsOfRevenge Satan (Paradise Lost)]], [[Pantheon/{{Planning}} Crowley]]
* Rodin was once an angel who once governed a portion of Paradiso, being in charge over creation and his smithing skills were legendary amongst his race. Rodin would eventually start an insurgency against Paradiso and ultimately lost, so he was soon kicked into Inferno as punishment and became a FallenAngel. He would eventually get tired of that place, [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere leaving for the mortal plane]] where he started his own bar and became a dealer in demonic weapons he creates himself. He has helped Bayonetta in the past by forging almost all of the weapons she wields, [[WeirdCurrency using halos as payment for all of his wares]]. The Gates of Hell (the bar) manifested onto the Pantheon after learning he could make good business here.
** The way Rodin creates his demonic weapons is more complicated than one thinks. He has to battle powerful demons and [[YourSoulIsMine capture their souls]], to which he uses them to craft the weapons from. Usually, music helps lure out demons and if someone brings him something that plays demon-luring music (like an angelic melody), he'll go beat up and capture the demon lured by it. [[AdamSmithHatesYourGuts You still have to pay cash]] but don't worry, he can convert several types of currency into their halo equivalents.
* He didn't come alone, as he decided to bring his good buddy Enzo as his Herald. Not out of ''pity'', mind you. He needs to ensure that Enzo is still around to pay off his tab.
* Once Rodin arrived with his bar that served as a temple, various new customers came to him and began request some weapons. One of his most prominent customers is Flynn who buys weapons to increase the [[Pantheon/MaximumSecurity Yamato Perpetual Reactor's]] security. There's also Nanashi, Aleph and Homura Akemi who have accumulated many halos from their angel-killing.
* Obviously, making weapons and hunting demons aren't the only things Rodin does, he still has a bar to run. Saber Alter seems to be a person who frequents there a lot, getting drunk and ranting about [[Anime/CarnivalPhantasm hamburgers]] or some other things.
* [[OccidentalOtaku Rodin also has a bit of love for Japanese culture]], having a fondness for sake and having some Japanese influence on his clothing. He has an odd relationship with Patricia Martin; while he shares her love for Japan as well, her views on the country is a bit... [[AnimeLand single minded]]. He usually asks Sojiro Sakura for Japanese-related things and is seen eating Sojiro's curry once in a while. Apparently [[VideoGame/Bayonetta3 he also spends time working on a Japanese talk show.]]
* If one gives Rodin a Platinum Ticket — the price of which is the equivalent to restoring a fallen angel's powers — he will offer to battle with whoever gave it to him, using it to become either an angel once more or boosting his demonic powers with the halos before sending him and his challenger to a PocketDimension. Anyone doing this should be prepared because [[CurbStompBattle Rodin will kick the poor soul's ass to the ground several times]]. The only people who have beaten him in these states as of now are Bayonetta/Jeanne (but barely), Asura, and Son Goku ([[ChallengeSeeker who was basically itching for a good fight]]). He offers to fight the victor again for free if they ask [[NintendoHard but who would ever want to try to do that once more]]? Okay, maybe Goku but still.
** That said, his Father Rodin form is comparatively easier than his demon state, and the Platinum Ticket need not be cashed in right away, but it's up to him which form the challenger gets to fight, so it's a toss-up between a very hard boss and an ''extremely'' hard boss. Because of this, while he originally earned his title of "The Infinite One" as an angel, he retains it as a demon, and it's commonly used to refer to his demon form.
* YHVH suddenly manifested above the Gates of Hell one day to pay Rodin a ''[[SeriousBusiness personal]]'' visit. He offered to restore Rodin's status as an angel in exchange for creating weapons for the [[Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfLaw Forces of Law]] exclusively and swearing his allegiance to him. Rodin just laughed at God's face, [[DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu saying he was dumb for even thinking he would ever work for someone like him]]. YHVH then tried to annihilate the bar in his rage but Rodin was able to deflect the attack and forcing YHVH to retreat before every one of the Absolute Lawmaker's enemies came, [[WeWillMeetAgain not before swearing Rodin will join his forces, free will or not]]. Rodin now refuses to deal with any GUAL associates for this very reason, not because he's scared but because [[BewareTheNiceOnes he's really fucking pissed God tried to nuke his bar]].
** A few days later, Lucifer came to visit him and gave him the same offer but with less extreme terms. Rodin still refused but found his fellow Fallen angel as good company, even having a drink with each other from time to time.
* His relationship with other angels is conflicting, to say the least. Despite that, Archangel Michael had become good friends with him, drinking at his bar on most nights. Imperius hates Rodin's guts however and has tried fighting against the man but [[RunningGag gets his ass kicked every time]].
** His relationships with other {{Fallen Angel}}s are a bit more on the hostile side. Satan from ''Franchise/{{Castlevania}}'' and the one from ''Literature/ParadiseLost'' as well as the Lucifer from ''Series/{{Supernatural}}'' want Rodin to be on their side and help [[RageAgainstTheHeavens wage war against the heavens]]. He said no, and after they annoyed him about it some more [[RuleOfThree he kicked their asses in]]. They haven't spoken since then, [[HorrifyingTheHorror likely because the Satans are too terrified to do so]].
* [[ToHellAndBack Rodin goes to the House of Demons almost every day for the demon weapons he has been commissioned to create]]. This has made most of the House's residents terrified, fearing that at any moment, Rodin would lure them out and capture their souls. They have all tried to take vengeance against him once, having a [[TheLegionsOfHell Demonic Legion]] by the Gates of Hell's doorstep. Let's just say all who returned from the battle [[DrivenToMadness had to be institutionalized]]. [[CleanupCrew Crowley was the one who had to clean up the mess afterward]].
* Mephisto is quite pissed Rodin used his name as an alias but doesn't wanna say that in front of the man's face. I mean, [[LampshadeHanging have you seen what happened to everyone who provoked him]]?!
* When Bayonetta was invited to join a "[[VideoGame/SuperSmashBros fight club]]," Rodin became perfectly aware of it and limited her weapons and skills so that she wouldn't brutally annihilate the competition. During her second adventure, he occasionally received packages from said fight club and gave them to Bayonetta, often asking her to bring him along next time for the practice. Months later, he actually [[VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosUltimate joined in]] as an Assist Trophy. His only comment?
--> '''Rodin:''' Beautiful.
* He's also become acquainted with several friendly individuals from the [[VideoGame/DevilMayCry other]] [[Creator/{{Capcom}} side]] of his world, such as Lady and the progeny of Sparda, all customers, Nico, a fellow Merchant, and finally, Sparda himself, the legendary Dark Knight with whom he holds a lot in common.
* While he tries to deny it, he doesn't mind SubbingForSanta every now and then.
* Has a soft spot for penguins, having an apron with penguins hanging up in his bar, and even does a penguin-themed pizza delivery on the side. Why he would even have fondness for them, no one has bothered to ask.

She controlled her anger long enough to decide to convince the Court of the Gods to give her a title that truly reflected her superior art and a much higher rank.
* When Nero first arrive in the Pantheon, this is what she had to say to the other deities;
-->'''Rejoice, for I, Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, have gracefully ascended to the pinnacle of Godhood. Come and bask in the glory that is me. There is no shame in staring, for it is reasonable to be awestruck by such perfection.'''

* Two of her most prize creation are Aestus Estus, a sword she herself forged and proclaim can rival anything Vulcan can create, and her personal theater, Domus Aurea. The latter she rebuilt in the pantheon and has invited many deities to enter and enjoy the grand performance of Nero herself. Many have regretted ever going to one of her plays.
** One notable incident came when the Nostalgia Critic made jokes about one of her plays. Not being able to handle criticism very well, Nero chased after him in a fury. Luckily she was stopped before she could do any harm to Critic.
* Has earned the ire of both Artoria and Mordred, more of the former than the latter, accusing her of being an imposter to their image. Of course, Nero always tells them that there's one big, well, two BIG differences that don't make them the same. This didn't help her standing with the other Sabers.
** Recently, there's been evidence to suggest that Nero might be the ancestor of Artoria, which would explain why they look the same. While Artoria isn't exactly happy with the possibility, Nero couldn't be happier to be related to a beauty such as Artoria.
* Was ecstatic that the actual Hercules was in the Pantheon. She would challenge the demigod nearly every day in combat. Hercules applauded the fiery passion of the emperor and welcomed the challenge.
* Has no problem in showing some skin. In fact, Nero has been known to battle in nothing but a barely-there bikini.
* Because of her own manipulative, backstabbing mother, Nero has made every evil mother in the pantheon her enemy. In particular Ragyo Kiryuin for her molestation of her daughters and Tremarie for trying to deprive Cinderella of her happy ending. She questioned Cinderella why she never had her step-mother executed for all the pain she caused her.
* Even though she was known to be a tyrant, Nero actually loves the people of Rome and showered them with gifts. This is why she is so passionate about the arts so that she can share it with her people. Unfortunately for her, her form of love was selfish and she actually expected her people to love her in kind but didn't when there was a coup against her. It's for this reason that she ended her own life in despair.
* Nero values beauty above all else. This not only includes the arts but in matters of romance as well. She has expressed her attraction to many Gods and Goddesses like Hercules, Korra, Dante Sparda, Arturia, Chun-Li, Ryu, Alexander the Great, Dick Grayson, the male and female Robins, and Bayonetta. When it comes to beauty, gender is irrelevant.
* Notice that she [[Creator/SakuraTange sounds just like]] an older Sakura Kinomoto. Nero bonded with the young MagicalGirl and they have been seen skating together.
* Called the 'Whore of Babylon' during her reign of Rome, others have wonder if she was [[Pantheon/RuinAndDestruction Mother Harlot's]] human form. Nero was offended that others would even link her to the fiend. Not only that, but she doesn't like being called the Whore of Babylon.
** Interesting fact, because of Nero's skill, she could be able to summon the 'Beast of Revelation' as her own personal mount.
* Has been known to defy the laws of physics due to ThePowerOfLove. This love has mostly been directed to the person known as Hakuno Kishinami.
* Feeling absolutely merry in the holiday season, Nero decided to to dress up as Santa Claus. And yes, her Santa is of the [[SexySantaDress sexy variety]]. Not just satisfied with just having the outfit, Nero also commissioned her own sleigh. Though she forgot that reindeer are supposed to pull the sleigh as instead, she used eight regular colored Chocobos with the ninth one being red. She even gave away gifts to all the good people around the pantheon. Though the gifts she gave out were pretty much everyday objects, it was the thought that counts. Unfortunately, she also started to sing Christmas carols. Though, others think it's cute, no matter how bad she sings.
** Even worse, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUpAtUuNG2A she does this every Christmas]], much to the [[MemeticMutation joy]] and annoyance of others.

* Some people still argue if she really did play the lyre [[WhileRomeBurns while Rome burned]].
* Every year, Nero holds Nero Fest, where teams of servants are put in teams and fight Chaldea's Master. Each servant is given a witty name.
* She has tried her hand at [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyxME9uC_Sc livestreaming]] and has played [[VideoGame/KanColle Kancolle]].
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rW3LAJrZoQ0 The way Nero walks around]] is reminiscent of [[VideoGame/TheElderScrollsIIIMorrowind the Nerevarine]]. When asked, she says that yes, she did make her own copy of the Greaves of Extravagant Swag once upon a time, based on the Nerevarine's own set.
* Following certain events in an AlternateTimeline, [[spoiler:The Whore of Babylon found herself ascended into the Pantheon in her matured state. Beast VI/S' first order of business after learning that Humanity's Servants had found their way here was [[ApocalypseHow to lay waste to the Pantheon itself and "consume" it]]. 244** [[spoiler:Following her defeat, Queen Draco re-emerged sometime later in the form of an Alter Ego Servant known as 'Nero Draco' and promptly took up residence in her other self's temple much to her dismay. 267* {{Foil}} to: [[Pantheon/{{Anger}} Carrie White]]
* Arnold Cunningham is a nerdy teenager who in the face of having controlling parents and being bullied in school, only has one real friend in football player Dennis Guilder. Arnie decides to buy a beat-up car despite Dennis having problems with it and it leads to Arnie becoming obsessed with Christine (as it was named by the previous owner who was obsessed with it like Arnie would be) and his attitude taking a turn for the worse. Christine also has supernatural properties to it, being able to recover from injuries and killing anyone that threatens the well-being of itself or its current owner. Arnie takes advantage of it to get revenge on some bullies, but such aggressive behavior becomes too much for Dennis to accept and he recruits the help of Leigh Cabot, Arnie’s ex-girlfriend who broke up with him over his worsening behavior, to destroy Christine and save Arnie. There was no way for Arnie’s psychological condition to recover due to him dying during the final confrontation with Christine and while the car is eventually stopped via being flattened with a bulldozer, such an action might not be enough to permanently destroy it.
* So much junk was present at a massive landfill in the Pantheon that included leftover objects no one was using, broken portals to other locations that were ordered to be destroyed, and rejected applications that many filled out to try and be part of the Pantheon. Wall-E was working there one day to clean up some garbage when he noticed a peculiar looking cube that had a part sticking out that was twitching. He was startled by it, but when T-Bone and Razor investigated that strange junked cube after being told about it, the item in question had already disappeared, leading them to believe that it was either some dumb joke or someone really wanted whatever was inside it. Elsewhere at a hospital, a patient by the name of Arnie Cunningham was waking up from a bad injury and the first thing he asked was where Christine was. The hospital staff learned that “Christine” wasn’t a girl, but a car Arnie really liked and as it turned out, Christine (who was brought back to peak condition by some sickos who believed that getting a beat-up car at the junkyard was easy and ended up paying it with their lives after the car was restored) was parked outside the hospital waiting for Arnie to recover from his terrible injuries. After he recovered, Arnie was prepared for life in the Pantheon with Christine, looking no worse for the wear and acting no better than he did after getting that car.
* Lightning Mcqueen already had his reasons to dislike Christine for being a sentient car that is willing to kill anyone that gets in its way, but he was unsettled at how Arnie changed as a result of being with Christine. Arnie was originally a spineless nerd who became vindictive and petty as a result of being with Christine, a change that Lightning noted was a dark mirror to how he went from cocky racer to someone with plenty of humility after ending up in Radiator Springs and befriending the residents there. Regardless of whether or not there is something supernatural going on with Arnie’s change in attitude, Lightning believes that Christine is bad news especially after hearing about how a previous owner underwent a similar change that Arnie went through. Talking to Arnie to try and change his demeanor for the better has proven difficult (especially since Arnie has retorted that Lightning already had a good life even before he learned not to think solely of himself) and Lightning has had to rely on his surroundings and his friends to prevent Christine from turning him into scrap metal.
* There were plenty of other cars besides Lightning that Christine and Arnie found out about, including owners that admired a particular kind of car. The Racing Drones were a legion of driving robots and they were enraged when they learned of how Christine, a sentient car, chose to spend time with a human instead of eliminating humanity through deadly races. Competitive racing seems to be of little, if any, concern for both Christine and Arnie and regardless of whether the Racing Drones are involved or not, there’s been concerns on what could happen on the racing field if a haunted car that can regenerate itself with grudges against anyone who threatens its owner gets involved, especially if Arnie is in the driving seat. The general sentiment that other sentient vehicles such as Herbie and friendly people that like cars in general they got from Arnie and Christine was that of unease as despite Christine having an appearance that would earn it the admiration of car fans, there was something unsettling about Arnie solely wanting Christine for himself and the car acting on his demands.
* Arnie’s high school life continued in the Pantheon and while there are some who admire his bad-boy attitude, he has plenty of issues that made many others see him as a problem. Despite getting even with some bullies such as Gary Smith and Biff Tannen while at a Pantheonic high school, his condescending attitude didn’t appeal to their enemies even if Arnie not only had no intention of joining those bullies in making life hell for students, but was willing to subject them to a similar fate as that of Buddy Repperton and his gang. Of the high school students in the Pantheon, The Breakfast Club took issue with how everything in his life played out. The Breakfast Club had their own personal problems, but they became friends with each other when they shared detention with each other and the fact that Arnie dealt with his personal problems with violence at the hands of a scary car while embracing his insanity and alienating his former friends in the process left a bad taste for the Club.
* Carrie White was another young adult with controlling parents who was formerly picked on and later had the power to get back at the people who wronged them, but there are many differences in their general character. While Carrie continues to be a mostly friendly person in the Pantheon who will become violent after being pushed too far, Arnie was someone who used to be affable, but slipped into having a volatile attitude after getting Christine and his unpleasant attitude has carried over to the Pantheon. Carrie has psychic powers at her disposal while Arnie is a regular person that may or may not be possessed by a supernatural entity and relies on Christine as a means to attack anyone that gets in his way. Arnie is understanding of Carrie’s problems to the point of briefly considering befriending her, but he otherwise remains faithful towards Christine while Carrie has sensed that there’s something off with Arnie’s attitude and has preferred to keep her distance from him and his car provided that she isn’t on another psychic rampage.
* Christine ended up getting wrecked at one point by some bullies as retaliation over Arnie getting one of them expelled, but the car was able to get revenge on them with Arnie’s help. If there is one thing that will anger the two of them, it’s Christine getting destroyed and the fact that there are people who destroy cars for fun or for training purposes only fueled their rage. A group of World Warriors were a handful of fighters who have sometimes destroyed cars in their spare time as a means to check up on their skill if fighting others isn’t an option. Dan Hibiki was one such fighter who was mostly seen as a joke compared to the other World Warriors and one of his less graceful moments involved attacking Christine in front of some of his alleged pupils as part of a lesson in the Saikyo Style. He didn’t realize until it was too late that the car he destroyed suddenly regenerated itself and was out for his blood moments after his pupils ran away in terror and Dan was chased around by Christine for a period of time before an ambush led by more capable fighters stopped the car in its tracks. To Arnie, it didn’t matter how skilled these World Warriors were or even if Dan was not as good as the other fighters; if anyone attempts to destroy Christine, they are dead in his eyes and Christine more than agrees with that sentiment.
* Using the car radio as a means of communication isn’t something that most normal entities would do, but that is how Christine communicates with others. More specifically, [=1950s=] rock and roll songs are how Christine tells others how it's feeling in a rather twisted way to the point that some believe that this particular form of music is what Christine likes to listen to. Many rock and roll musicians wouldn’t like their music being used in a taunting manner by a murderous machine and while Bumblebee isn’t a musician, the Autobot has a habit of using his car radio to communicate whenever he can’t directly speak for himself and has showed plenty of scorn to Christine for being a bad influence towards Arnie (who finds the idea of cars that turn into robots some sort of bad attempt to try and dissuade him from hanging out with Christine). Bumblebee has helped his owners get through various troubles big and small, so thwarting any carnage caused by Christine (who isn’t able to do much against a giant robot) is just an extension of good deeds he’s regularly done.
* It’s not entirely clear as to whether there is something supernatural about Arnie becoming a worse person or if it’s just the fact that he’s in ownership of a cool-looking car that’s making him more arrogant than he was before. This prompted The Phantom Thieves of Hearts to try to go inside Arnie’s mind after hearing about his story from The Breakfast Club in an attempt to find the true source behind his mean streak. They did have to find the proper Keywords for his Palace, though, and the ambiguity as to the cause of his distorted Cognition made this task difficult.

%% It’s proven difficult both in Arnie’s mind and in the real world as Christine managed to track down Futaba Sakura (who was overseeing the progress that Ren Amamiya, Morgana, Yusuke Kitagawa, and Sumire Yoshizawa were making inside) and run her over, making the mission more difficult. After Yusuke and Sumire suffered similar injuries inside at the hands of enemies modeled after cars and realizing that Christine in the real world was going to go after the rest of the team, the mission had to be aborted in order to help the injured members recover. Arnie only gave Ren a warning stating that while he can’t directly do anything about Ren and his team, anyone that thinks they can try and pull off a stunt like that to try and separate him from Christine will be in trouble.
* Arnie used to be in a relationship with Leigh Cabot, but his gradual obsession with Christine and his deteriorating attitude that resulted from it caused her to break up with him. From then on, Arnie is purely obsessed with Christine and the car has that same kind of obsession towards him. While people having strong attachments towards objects has been documented a number of times, the fact that there was some sort of twisted romance between a teenager and his car and not just close companionship has bewildered plenty of Pantheonic denizens. People who share a violently possessive attitude towards someone they adore found something off about someone who cares more about his car to the point that he would alienate a potential human love interest to be with Christine. While Arnie and Christine do see some of their unhinged attitude in these kinds of people, they don’t see much of a point in hanging out with them, especially if the ones who don’t have a special someone try to force their way into Arnie’s life.
* Much like whether or not there’s something supernatural about Arnie’s change from meek high-schooler to an arrogant person, there’s some arguments on if Christine is acting on her own free will or if there’s a spirit of some sort controlling her. Some ghost hunters decided to investigate Chrisine and see if there was something going on with the car, but following a harrowing chase that almost got the hunters killed, they were unable to find any spirits inside the car. Arnie’s connection with Christine has gotten him in trouble over murders that were carried out by the car and while he has gotten away with it thanks to some alibis back then, many Pantheonic investigators have made it easier to point the connection between the two (on top of the majority of officers being more competent) have made it more difficult for Arnie to get out of such trouble if he’s in it. While there hasn’t been a definitive answer to the nature of both the car and Arnie’s change in personality, the two are inseparable enough that if Christine has done something terrible, Arnie will most likely have had some involvement in it.

* When Ralph came into the Pantheon, Felix asked to come along for the ride. His reasons: 1) it's his job to fix up any messes Ralph makes and 2) so he can be with his good friend.
* His hammer has become a blessing to the Pantheon. With one strike, he's able to fix ''anything'' whether it be walls, fortresses, injuries, broken hearts, etc.
** That hammer is a double-edged sword, however. One time when he was stuck in jail, Felix accidentally used it to make the weak bars become twice as thick than usual. Moreover, it ''cannot'' be used as a weapon so he's only good for support and not for combat.
* A couple of gods have asked if he's Mario's long lost third twin since he arrived, but with good charm he points out, "No mustache".
* Has been seen "fighting" Ralph whenever the two are working, and then going to the House of Food with him once they get time off.
* Often asks why Sergeant Calhoun never ascended, [[spoiler:since she's now his wife]]. The gods at this time haven't found a proper place for her. So for now, they made her one of the acolytes of the ActionGirl house, so that he can visit her.
** Finally, she was able to ascend into her own house; the Halls of Pantheon/SoldierArchetypesNToZ fittingly enough. She was more than happy to announce her ascension to her husband by lifting him up to kiss him before threatening to smite any of his enemies, which he just laughed her and assure her he was okay for now.
* Gets along famously with Emmett due to their shared background in construction. Also enjoys the company of Wander due to the both of them having similar upbeat attitudes, among other [[Creator/JackMcBrayer similarities]].
** These similarities to Wander didn't go unnoticed by Lord Hater and has sworn to destroy the two of them. Despite Wander insisting that Hater really isn't a bad guy once you get to know him, Felix is nevertheless weary around him.

* Enemies: [[Pantheon/{{Commerce}} C. Montgomery Burns]], [[Pantheon/CommercialArchetypes Looten Plunder]], all evil gods in the House of Music, [[Pantheon/AnthropomorphicAnimals Napoleon]]
* Many gods were mesmerized by soft guitar playing that somehow put even the most belligerent at ease. The source of the music was found to be K.K. Slider who was sitting on a small crate under a lonely streetlight just outside the Main Gates. The Villager was quick to recognize the canine minstrel and pushed for his arrival as his music was considered to one of the best. The gods who were part of Master Hand’s tournaments (Sonic, Snake, Mega Man, Pac-Man and Ryu included) all vouched for K.K.’s unique blending of various genres played only by his guitar and similish voice. The Court agreed and K.K. was allowed in.
* K.K. is unique among musicians in the pantheon for two main reasons: First, he is able to compose and play music from a plethora of styles and cultures with just his acoustic guitar and his simlish voice and sound very good when playing live. Second, he composes music just for its own sake. He doesn’t want money or fame like other music deities do. He simply enjoys playing and composing what he loves: music.
** Naturally, he doesn’t think too highly of “corporate fat cats who stifle the creative process” or those who exploit music for profit (like Plunder and Mr. Burns). However, he is good friends with both Jerrica and Recette as they represent the good side of business, with K.K. playing a few gigs in Jerrica’s foundation. Recette, on the other hand, is the only one allowed to sell his “airchecks” as he knows the profits with her are placed to good use, much to the consternation of Quark and Bubs.
* The House of Music is his favorite spot as he tends to collaborate with many gods either providing back-up or lead vocals for some very interesting compositions.
* One of the few deities that enjoy visiting him in his "pad" is Squigly. Despite an initial shock at her appearance and meeting Leviathan, he quickly warmed up to her. The fact she enjoys singing along and making lyrics as he plays warms his heart to see someone so dedicated to music.
** Another deity that visits him regularly is Hatsune Miku, whom he bonds over their mutual virtual singing abilities. In fact, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tz8AuiW3fu8 she once performed a duet of Go K.K. Rider! with him]].
* Both he and Weird Al are good friends as both are masters at using various genres of music in their works. They are currently working on creating a polka medley version of K.K.'s compositions. Al only needs to figure out a way to use Simlish or compose lyrics of his own.
* The nightly dance crowd at Moe’s Tavern waits in anticipation whenever K.K. shows up to take the DJ booth and plays arranged medleys of all his compositions, either in house or classic NES 8-bit mixes. Saturday nights from 8 PM to midnight, however, K.K. instead takes the stage with only his guitar and plays live requests. Some deities only show up these times to hear his unique songs.
** Sometimes shares the DJ booth with Vinyl Scratch who respects him as one of the best DJ's she has collaborated with. K.K. is thinking of going on a tour of Equestria soon after meeting her.
* Despite coming from a town where both human villagers and animal villagers co-exist, K.K. dislikes Napoleon due to his [[BoomerangBigot taking the worst traits of humanity while simultaneously decrying their tyranny]]. While he never attempted in the past to create a protest song as he cares for everyone equally, the greedy porcine appears to be his sole exception.
* As he is a dog deity, he gets along with other multiverse canines in the Pantheon. True to form, the group tends to have a Poker Night in one of the private rooms at Moe's Tavern amongst them once every few weeks. Naturally, Scrappy and Sparky are not allowed within ten feet of their table (if they ever get past the Techies' minefield, that is).
* K.K.'s entire philosophy can be summed up [[https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/ce/02/fa/ce02fae6b0d9d5ac5ae144f302c6396a.jpg here]].

* Upon ascending, Plinkett hobbled over to Palpatine (or Man-in-a-Black-Cloak-who-is-not-a-trademarked-character-of-Lucas-Limited, as Plinkett calls him) and was given a greeting by him. Palpatine eagerly awaits his next review ([[StrawFan preferably for a Christopher Nolan film]]).
** He also tried to meet some OT ''Star Wars'' characters, whom he admires deeply. They were all grossed out by his presence.
* Is pretty much George Lucas' ArchEnemy in the Pantheon, being one of his most outspoken critics. Lucas tried to kill him in his sleep once, but Plinkett made a quick recovery and hasn't forgot about it since.
* Plinkett's temple is made to look like a shabby, run-down house, with a dirty basement full of movies. He rarely leaves his domain, mostly staying in the basement watching movies. Screaming and moaning can often be heard from outside.
* One of the few times Plinkett comes outside is to go to the House of Food and get [[TrademarkFavoriteFood pizza rolls]]. He frequently attempts to give passersby some of his food, but they're usually too disgusted to take up his offer.
* Unlike his case with Lucas, Plinkett respects Steven Spielberg and James Cameron, the former for staying true to his ideals and the latter for his attention to detail. Despite this, he doesn't like Cameron's characters, Jack & Rose and Sully & Neytiri, thinking the ''Titanic'' couple to be too unlikable and outright hating the "retarded elves" because a Na'vi (actually some teenager in a Halloween costume he abducted) broke his Titanic scale model.
* Sometimes releases his reviews in front of a live audience in the House of Theater in an event known as the "Plinkett Ego Celebration Festival".
* Was banned from the House of Family after word got out that he "broke his TV" while watching child films.
* Plinkett wants everyone to "remember" [[Pantheon/{{Words}} Tony Montana]]. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuVw0QLzlRk He won't shut up about it]]. On an unrelated note, he hates dancing, and [[Film/JackAndJill the time]] Montana tried to get into rapping and advertising.
* Aside from ''Star Wars'', Plinkett's passion is ''Series/{{Star Trek|TheOriginalSeries}}''. When in a conversation, [[OnceAnEpisode he tries to slip in a reference to it at least once]]. And unlike later ''Star Wars'' exploits, he will begrudgingly admit to liking [[Film/StarTrek2009 Captain Kirk's new adventures]], something the good captain actually appreciates.
* Is completely unrelated to [[WebVideo/HalfInTheBag another Mr. Plinkett whose VCR player is being repaired]]. This Plinkett thinks he's [[PhraseCatcher "a hack fraud"]] anyways.

* It's common for schools to have a blackboard with chalk to write and draw on. While teachers use it to write down the lessons of the day, students love to to doodle whatever comes into their imagination. But eventually, those drawings will have to be erased, never to be seen again except in memory. But what if they still linger around in another way? Enter Rudy Tabootie, a young boy with a creative imagination and a passion for drawing. While in detention after angering his cartoon-hating teacher Mr. Wilter, he discovers the White Lightning chalk, which has magical properties, such as creating a portal to an alternate dimension. He discovers the [=ChalkZone=], a place where all chalk drawings that have existed live as sentient beings or otherwise tangible objects. He meets and befriends Snap White, a Chalkzoner that he created when he was younger, and keeps the existence of [=ChalkZone=] a secret from anyone else except for his best friend and crush Penny Snachez. He and his friends would go on to have many adventures within the [=ChalkZone=] while meeting the colorful denizens of the land.
* It was an ordinary day at the House of Pantheon/{{School}}, as some students were fooling around after class by doodling on a chalkboard. One student drew a circle, which suddenly manifested as a portal connected to an alternate dimension. Curious about the dimension, some students decided to hop in to check it out. There, they find out that everything in the dimension is made of chalk. They soon discovered a notably non-chalky boy talking to a chalky person in blue clothes and approached them. The boy was very alarmed, as he was convinced that word of the [=ChalkZone=] didn't leak out, plus he had never seen these people before. Thankfully, some of the teachers came by to defuse the situation, as they were sent to investigate the portal and the missing students. After reprimanding the students, the teachers talked to Rudy and Snap, who explained what the [=ChalkZone=] is, and took him to the Court of the Gods, who bestowed them the title of '''[[LivingDrawing Living Drawings]]'''. Rudy and Snap are glad that Mr. Wilter still doesn't know about the [=ChalkZone=], which they've feared when they saw the students.
* Ever since Rudy and Snap ascended, the [=ChalkZone=] has been opened for access. The [=ChalkZone=] can be accessed by drawing portals with the White Lightning chalk (of which thre are a few copies lying around in Rudy's temple) on any surface fit for chalk drawings. With the portal opened, any deity can come in to see the wild, wacky world of [=ChalkZone=] and its inhabitants. Ever since the [=ChalkZone=] was open to the Pantheon, chalk drawings that originated from the Pantheon can be found residing in the [=ChalkZone=]. These drawings range from simple stick drawings to detailed giants to malicious scribblies, prompting Rudy to fend off against them once in a while. Trying to tamper with the [=ChalkZone=] in anyway will get you thrown out of the dimension and receive a temporary ban, which can be permanent if it keeps persisting.
* Given that the [=ChalkZone=] is home to many living drawings, Rudy and Snap would end up meeting other living drawings residing in the Pantheon. While not chalk drawings, Ramo, Lola, and Quill are living painting people, whose society was divided based on the completeness of the individual. The trio worked hard to get rid of the caste system by finishing the painting they reside in after visiting the other paintings. Rudy and Snap were quite impressed with their tale and became fast friends with them, with the duo allowed to enter their painting and the painting trio being allowed to enter the [=ChalkZone=] and make new aquaintances there. They also get along with Eko, whose has the ability to give life to her drawings, as evidenced by her partner Kazu. The two duos like to hang out with each other and express their creativity. On the other hand, the duo heavily oppose Drawicia, a living painting who aims to turn the whole world into a painting, fearing that she could invade the [=ChalkZone=] and convert it into a twisted painting of her own image.
** Of special note is Maxwell, who the duo encountered when he was in the middle of writing. Like Rudy, he uses a magic tool to craft anything he can imagine, but instead of drawing things with chalk, he writes down thing down on his magic notebook. The duo were impressed with Maxwell's creativity and application with his notebook, plus Rudy likes having a new buddy in creating things out of the blue. The two boys often hang out to create new things with their respective tools, even combining their brains to forge a spectacular creation. Maxwell is also able to create life with his notebook to Snap's delight, so he likes to play with Maxwell's creations.
** Judge Doom became furious when he heard of the [=ChalkZone=] vowing to use the dip to destroy the dimension once and for all. Rudy and Snap are understandably horrified by this, especially since he's a toon who's turned on his kind, and vowed to protect the [=ChalkZone=] from him. On the other hand, they get along with Roger and Jessica Rabbit, who are toons that happen to coexist alongside humanity, which amazes Rudy and Snap, wondering if it's possible to have further connection between the [=ChalkZone=] and the real world though they are saddened by the tensions between flesh and paint in their world.
** However, the duo have something of an awkward relationship with Spongebob Squarepants because of an incident the latter went through. He created a crude copy of himself with a magic pencil, dubbed "[=DoodleBob=]", as a part of a prank he was planning to unleash on Squidward, Unfortunately, [=DoodleBob=] stole the pencil and began wreaking havoc around Bikini Bottom, stopped only by trapping him in a page. Spongebob and friends later had to deal with him again, as they recreated him within a doodle dimension, forcing them to duke it out with the doodle copy and eventually defeated him by banishing him to space with a balloon. Because of these incidents, Spongebob is a bit wary of living drawings, and while Rudy and Snap understand that such a bad first impression can sour your opinions, they still want to hang out with him without any ensuing awkwardness.
* By certain means, Snap can be considered a fictional character that came to life, so Rudy and Snap would eventually meet up with other fictional characters come to life such as the Crimson Chin, Meteora Österreich , and Altair. The duo get along with the Crimson Chin and Meteora, and both groups have taken interest in each other's worlds. Rudy and Snap in particular like the Crimson Chin for being a superhero character, as Snap has a superhero-inspired design. They were intrigued that Meteora and Altair were summoned alongside other fictional characters to fight each other, plus a bit saddened that she couldn't return to her home world due to having to send the rest home, and staying in the real world made her powers fade away, though they're glad she's okay with everything in the end. With Altair, they understand her grief over her creators death, but think that her trying to kill everyone out of her grief wasn't really a good idea. Still, her creator was revived in a sense, which made her finally calm down, so they're glad she's not that angry anymore. They are considerably much more wary of Xingo, a fictional character that causes much destruction in his wake due to functioning on cartoon logic. They aren't really fans of being on the receiving ends of his pranks. They are also uneasy around Bendy, given that the circumstances regarding his arrival to the real world was... disasterous to say the least, so they keep their distance from him in case he turns to his beast form.
** While Ungalo may not be a character that jumped out from a book, he does have the power to bring them to the real world. His Stand, Bohemian Rhapsody, is able to summon fictional characters to the real world, but if someone sees a character they connect to, they are then forced to live out the character's story, often with unpleasant results, which likely would end in the unfortunate victim's death. Needless to say, the two aren't really friends of him because of his horrifying power and the implications it could have on the [=ChalkZone=], plus his crude demeanor keeps turning them away from him.
* Snap could be considered by some to be Rudy's imaginary friends, only that he is real and tangible. The two did meet up with actual, tangible imaginary friends, namely Bloo, Wilt, Eduardo, and Coco. Snap is glad to meet up with new friends while Rudy sees them as not to dissimilar to how the residents of [=ChalkZone=] look like. Of all of them, Snap interacts with Bloo a lot, being blue-coloured creations of young boys and do consider each other as friends, [[VitriolicBestBuds even if they have a rather belligerent relationship]].
* As Rudy often uses his creativity to solve problems within the [=ChalkZone=], as well as the [=ChalkZone=] itself being fueled by the creative minds of humanity, Rudy and Snap are appropriately horrified by the existence of the Nothing, an eldritch entity whose presence reduces its surroundings to nothing and saps away the creativity and imagination of living beings. The duo fear that if the Nothing reaches their world, the destruction it would leave in its wake will destroy the [=ChalkZone=] due to the lack of imagination, to say nothing if it does enter the [=ChalkZone=]. The two vow to prevent the Nothing from causing more destruction, and since it can be destroyed with a sufficiently imaginative mind, Rudy became one of its strongest opposers, ready to banish it with his magic chalk.
* Another thing to note is that as a chalk entity, liquids and other methods to erase chalk are anathema to Snap and can easily end him. Of course, the House of Life and Death is there to bring him back, but that's not an experience he wants to have often.
* As mentioned prior, Rudy's greatest asset is his imagination, which he uses to solve problems within and out of the [=ChalkZone=], his chalk summoning whatever tools he can think of to save the day. This lead the duo to meet up with other deities who weaponize their creativity and imagination, such as the Ressha Sentai [=ToQger=], Hal Jordan, and Kyle Rainer. The [=ToQger=] are powered by their imagination, transforming into superheroes to defend the the Rainbow Line, a magic railway network powered by imagination, while the Lantern Rings have the ability to construct anything that the wielder desires, with Hal and Kyle using them to fight evil. The superheroes respect Rudy for his craftiness and responsibility with his imagination, while Rudy and Snap are excited to meet real superheroes in the Pantheon. Speaking about creativity, that happens to be one of the domains that Sheogorath lords over, though the duo are hesitant to meet him, given his chaotic, unstable nature, though the Daedric Prince does like the kid's imagination and wants him to try out his cheese in an offer of kinship.
* Rudy Tabootie met up with Nate Adams, another young boy who ended up discovering a whole new world of strange, quirky creatures with a special object. In Nate's case, he found the Yo-Kai Watch, a magical watch that allows him to see, interact, and befriend the mischievous Yo-Kai. The two boys quickly became friends as they related closely with each other's experiences. Nate does feel a bit envious of Rudy lacking his averageness complex, but is interested in seeing the denizens of [=ChalkZone=], while Rudy wants to see the quirky Yo-Kai for himself.
* With Snap being designed around a superhero aesthetic, he and Rudy would end up visiting the House of Pantheon/{{Heroism}}. The two positively geeked out over the presence of actual superheroes in the Pantheon, and quickly rushed up to them to ask them many questions about their adventures. The members of the House like the aformentioned Hal Jordan respect Rudy for using his creativity and imagination to solve problems within [=ChalkZone=], while Snap hopes that one day he can get real superpowers of his own.
* By the way, Snap HATES being called a PluckyComicRelief, and will get upset if someone calls him that, even if he does get into situations a PluckyComicRelief gets into often. Because of this, he's greatly annoyed by Jar Jar Binks for being the a very obvious example of the archetype, and refuses to associate with him. Certain groups like the Itazura Griefers and individuals like [[Pantheon/{{Titles}} the Goose]] love to mess with him despite his protests, and find amusement in calling him a PluckyComicRelief over and over.
* Aside from chalk drawings, Rudy draws comics on the side. He's made newspaper comics involving Snap going through numerous adventures -- although this came with a downside of many child gods making their ''own'' drawings of Snap ("Snips" as the real Snap calls them) -- and he's been working on a comic that involved Vampire Cannibals. However, there was a bit of confusion on the title: did the vampires ''eat'' other vampires or were they cannibals that ''transformed'' into vampires? Rudy quickly explained that they eat other vampires. He hopes to impress Stan Lee with his work, even though it's been rejected for being a bit ''too'' edgy.
** Then came the day that he tried to get pointers from the House of Vampires. Most of the good-natured ones had a laugh at Rudy's idea while the more neutral or evil ones didn't bother to answer.
* One day in the House of School, Rudy was finishing up some chalk drawings onto the playground when he met up with a girl with blond pigtails also doing some drawings. That happened to be Bubbles of the Powerpuff Girls. Rudy was amazed at Bubbles' imagination and drawing, but when he spoke Bubbles was taken aback since, for some reason, he reminded her of Buttercup and [[Recap/ThePowerpuffGirlsS4EP2 the time Buttercup not only made fun of Bubbles' drawings but also destroyed her chalk.]] Upset with this, Rudy personally went to Buttercup to ask why she'd do such a thing. Buttercup explained that she was being insensitive and she eventually apologized for what she did. She also warned Rudy to be ''very'' wary of [[Pantheon/{{Demons}} HIM]] as he used Bubbles' aggression to reanimate her chalk drawings to go on a rampage. Considering how much power the demon has, Rudy was quick to take the advice although warned Buttercup to ''not'' pull that trick again while he was around.
* Can also be found in Pantheon/LivingObjects.

* Billions of years ago, when the primal Vogons emerge out of the sea, evolution took one look at them... and disgusted, gave up. However, even in this state, they were far too thick-headed to go extinct, doing without until they could fix it with surgery. Their own brain is a disfigured liver. Unsurprising, they as a race as some of the most droll, banal and generally aggravating species in creation. And they're fine with it so long as they get to throw their mean, callous, heartless exterior into sharp relief.
* The Vogons are one of the worst poets in all the multiverse, to the point that their poetry [[SuckinessIsPainful is used as torture]]. Specifically, it's the third worst poetry in the universe. The second worst poetry was by the Azgoths of Kira, who's poet master Grunthos the Flatulent's recitals caused internal hemorrhages and eventually his own intestine to throttle his brain. The worst of all time was by Paula Nancy Millstone Jennings, which was thankfully lost forever along with the Earth.
* Their own house dislikes them due to how awful their poetry was. Ever single reviewer in our out of the Trope Pantheon has declared them an enemy as well, along with the House of Pantheon/{{Musicality}} when they tried a poetry recital there. That being said, there are gods who don't find it painful. The Cybermen and Incubators, due to lacking emotion, are able to stand their poetry. Admittedly for the former, it taxes the emotional inhibitor, at least they don't go mad.
* Despite their attitude, they aren't evil. Just bad tempered, bureaucratic, officious and callous. They wouldn't even lift a finger to save their grandmothers from the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal without an order, signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, queried, lost, found, subjected to public inquiry, lost again, and finally buried in soft peat for three months and recycled as firelighters. Do the following if you want to annoy them. Best not to let them visit parties, and they're one of the few gods Pinkie Pie [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness has no interest in showing a good time]]; they're that unpleasant.
* Every last one of them is a massive ObstructiveBureaucrat, which grinds the gears of most gods in the Trope Pantheon. Steven Armstrong especially as he considers them everything wrong with a government and Sirius Black hates them due to his own issues with bureaucracy. The Head Pixie, however, loves their bureaucracy. He let them be his followers, and now that they've ascended is happy to hang out with them. He can't stand their poetry though, but at least it isn't considered torture for him. They (more specifically Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz) used to represent the ObstructiveBureaucrat trope until [[Pantheon/LegalProcess Ron Swanson]] tarnished their name and threw them out. Still sour about it.
* Side firmly with law in the argument of [[OrderVersusChaos Law vs Chaos]]. If the Grand United Alliance of Chaos succeeds it would make paperwork impossible, plus they're the kind of people who wouldn't exist in [[Pantheon/{{Ambiguity}} Lucifer's]] world order. The values YHVH preaches, TheEvilsOfFreeWill... that's all very attractive to the Vogons. Most of the GUAL don't want them to join because of their banality, and even YHVH admits [[EveryoneHasStandards they're kind of killjoys]]. Initially, their representative Jeltz was part of the GUAE mainly due to the paperwork, but only because the GUAL didn't exist back then and they can't be called good.
* Human gods look at them badly for destroying the Earth for a hyperspace bypass. [[PunchClockVillain There was no malice, however]], and they've said Earth had 50 years to check... at Alpha Centauri. [[ComicallyMissingThePoint It was only 4.3 light years away]]. Human bureaucrats have issue with him, however, more obsessive or obstructive examples like Cornelius Fudge, the Pointy-Haired Boss and Hermes Conrad are willing to compromise and work with them. Dolores Umbridge doesn't have any values, so she was already fine working for or with them.
* Their relationship with the Imperium of Mankind is a tricky one. Given [[AbsoluteXenophobe their attitudes to xenos]] and destroying their Earth it was initially hostile, but given their love of tedious legislation, they had to admit the Vogons had their use. Besides, the Vogons are used to the galaxy disliking them. They also want to get rid of the forces of Chaos as well, which like the GUAC will make their job a nightmare. They seem to get more along with the Grox, given how they're seen by the rest of the galaxy.
* If you want to get a drink from a Vogon, stick your finger down their throat. If you want to get a lift, forget about it... though you may be lucky enough to have one of the co-pilots let you in, given their dislike of Vogons. They catch and sit on beautiful gazelle-like creatures which breaks their spine (they still sit on them anyway), and every year drunkenly smash scuttled crabs with iron mallets. They have as much sex appeal as a road accident.
* One god in the Trope Pantheon actually ''enjoys'' their poetry, by virtue of being even less imaginative than them; the Auditors of Reality. As massive bureaucrats, they seem to get along with the Vogons. However, their desire to [[OmnicidalManiac exterminate life to make their job easier]], while understandable by the Vogons, seems extreme even for them. Still, they tolerate each other enough and the Auditors see them as one of the least chaotic life-forms.

* Dorian Gray was a young man whose beauty made him a muse for painter Basil Hailward. Basil's friend, Lord Henry Wotton, came to visit as Basil was crafting a portrait of Dorian. Lord Henry was quite taken with Dorian and entered into a philosophical discussion with him where he espoused beauty as the only ideal worth pursuing. This made a strong impression on Dorian, who fervently wished that his portrait would age in his place. From then on, Dorian adopted a hedonistic lifestyle, putting Lord Henry's ideas into practice. One day, after cruelly spurning a lover, Dorian noticed that his portrait had changed so that his expression was a sneer instead of a smile, and he realized his wish had come true. This prompted him to indulge in various vices, the consequences of which were always suffered by the portrait. However, the progressively uglier portrait served as a reminder of his sins and his guilt eventually caught up to him. Eventually he couldn't handle it and stabbed the portrait, an action which killed him, with the portrait being restored to its original beauty.
* Next thing he knew, he was alive again with his initial beauty intact. The next thing he noticed, much to his horror, was his loathed portrait hanging from the wall, also restored to how it was in the beginning. He also realized he had a letter in his hand, which informed him of his circumstances and revealed he had been chosen to be in a place called the Pantheon, that his domain was CreepyChangingPainting, that said painting would always be there to remind him of his sins, so he might want to mind what his future actions would be, and any attempts at destroying it would be reversed. After getting out of the place (his temple, which is just like his house) to investigate further, he came to the conclusion that he was most likely not in any sort of hell or heaven, and definitely not good old England, but in some place very different.
* Most things point to Dorian not having learned any lesson from his experiences; he still has the greatest esteem for beauty and personal pleasure above any moral concerns. The fact that he is now a deity has, if anything, inflated his ego and worsened his narcissism. Of course, the man's attempts at redeeming himself have always been very shallow and ultimately self-serving, so whether he could have ever done so is very dubious. And to top everything off, he is pretty much immortal now, so he can destroy his painting to appease his flimsy sense of guilt and start over with a fresh slate whenever he wants. Multiple deities might be revolted at Dorian, but the worsening of his character is of no concern to the Main House, a neutral entity that is only interested in ascending those who have interesting stories to tell.
* Due to Dorian having the views he does about beauty, he was invited to tea with the Evil Queen and other deities well known for seeing themselves as the epitome of beauty, and he was honored to accept, finding much commonality in the Queen and the rest of her allies' pursuit of beauty and sympathy for their frustration in failing to attain it, largely thanks to their enemies. Out of the members of this group, he is by far closer to the Queen, though he keeps his distance when it comes to her enmity with Snow White, as Dorian, though completely understanding the Queen's perspective, disapproves of ridding the world of someone as beautiful as her (and the Queen's hag form is appalling to look at, besides).
* Dorian expressed a lot of interest in Dr. Jekyll's experiments upon reading about them. After all, the idea of a concoction designed to let a person act on their less socially acceptable (Dorian is loath to use the term "evil") impulses without consequence would appeal greatly to somebody like Dorian. So he pursued an acquaintance with the doctor, which was reciprocated as Jekyll also found Dorian's case fascinating. While Jekyll won't accompany Dorian on his "excursions" for fear of tarnishing his image (as if it's not already), he does understand why Dorian does what he does given his own evil impulses. Which is why he always goes as Mr. Hyde; Dorian enjoys how Hyde stops at nothing to attain his pleasure. The two make for quite a debauched duo.
* Perhaps hanging out too much with Mr. Hyde (not exactly known for ascribing much value to human life) has had a way of lowering Dorian's standards even further, as he seems to find no objection with keeping the company of a certain Patrick Bateman, a man well-known to be an abhorrent SerialKiller. Make no mistake, Patrick's many grisly murders are not exactly Dorian's cup of tea in terms of enjoying himself, but Patrick is someone who is always paying attention to the latest fashions and trends and the information and opinions Patrick bothers to spare on those topics is always interesting to Dorian. Patrick, though hating people in general, seems to at least tolerate Dorian for his admiration of him (as Patrick is also quite narcissistic himself) and their shared interests, so he humors him.
* Dorian's ways have made him a favorite with the Chaos God Slaanesh, who looks favorably upon hedonistic pursuits of all stripes, morality be damned. As far as Dorian is concerned, he is more than glad to get to enjoy the approval and protection of a powerful deity who is understanding of his philosophy. Perhaps it's because of that (and only that) that Morathi elected to spend one night with him. Afterwards though, she hasn't paid him much attention and even seems to look down on him. Both may be hedonistic and vainglorious, to worshipful levels in Morathi's case, but she is still a Dark Elf, a race who tend to see themselves as above everybody else. Although, this doesn't stop Dorian from admiring Morathi's poetic (in his opinion) way of life.
* Not all hedonists are approving of Dorian's lifestyle. Emperor Calus is one such hedonist, as he is driven towards enjoying the small pleasures in life and letting others do so as well. Emperor Calus thinks that Dorian is a fool for fearing age so much that he sold his soul for eternal youth and for letting himself be influenced by the precepts of a man (Lord Henry) who talks big but doesn't have the guts to act on what he espouses.
* The first time he came across the stunningly beautiful Tomie Kawakami, Dorian was floored and relentlessly pursued her for his own pleasure. For Dorian, that ended the way most who pursue Tomie end, which is with him driven insane and dead, not that it meant much in the Pantheon. You would think this would have given him at least an impression of the feelings that Sybill Vane, an actress he romanced, must have gone through when he spurned her cruelly. But nah. If anything, he became even more fascinated with Tomie and became determined to beat her at their shared "game", which might be yet another expression of his narcissism.
* When he deigned to at least become acquainted with the art-related deities he shares his House with (something he wasn't looking forward to do, given how his portrait causes him woe), he found it curious and then terrifying that some of the figures in the paintings were not only capable of movement, but also even come out of their paintings. This has given him nightmares where his likeness comes out of his portrait to torment him. Although some, like Drawcia, do give him hope that a world where reality and painting are confused would be synonymous with a world where Dorian no longer needs to care what his portrait will show him after a day of debauchery. Meanwhile, Dorian doesn't really get along with most painters, given he not only perverted a painting with his shallow wishes for eternal youth, but also killed Basil.
* Another pair of enemies for Dorian came in the form of The Luminary and Erik. They encountered a similar villain who was named Dora-in-Grey. She was also a sentient, changing piece of art who they had to destroy.

* Once upon a time, a girl named Ib and her parents visited a museum that was holding an exhibition about the famous artist Weiss Guertena. While wandering the museum, Ib sees a peculiar painting, where then suddenly the lights flickered and the guests disappeared. Ib finds herself seperated from her parents and trapped in a strange world where all of Guertena's artworks have come to life and are hunting her down. Her lifeforce is now tied to a rose she finds in a vase; if all petals fall off, she perishes. She later meets up with a man named Garry and another young girl named Mary, who team up to escape the Fabricated World. The trio solve many puzzles to progress and bond during lull moments while avoiding the hostile artworks out for their blood. Later, it's revealed that Mary is also a living painting who wishes to escape the Fabricated World and become human, and she is willing to harm and even kill Garry so she can escape with Ib. While the outcome of the story varies from each telling, one fact remains consistent; all three of them cannot exit the Fabricated World in one piece.
* An art exhibition was held within the House of Pantheon/{{Craft}}, displaying many different artworks from the many worlds that connect to the realm. What stood out from the rest was one simple painting called "Fabricated World" by Weiss Guertena, not because of any perceived quality or gimmicks, but rather that no one expected it to be there. It was the only exhibit that was not planned to be added to the exhibition, which made its presence much more unusual. Before long, the growing crowd bore witness to a strange event; two young girls and a young man suddenly fell out of the painting. The three quickly roused themselves from the ground in front of the shocked crown, upon which the three became confused and alarmed over the unfamiliar environment. The situation turned tense when the young man and the blonde girl became hostile to each other while the brunette girl tried her best to mediate the confrontation. Security was called to swiftly defuse the heated confrontation and soon the trio was sent to the Court of the Gods to explain their situation. As it turns out, the three remember all potential endings that their journey could result in, and thus explains why Garry and Mary were so hostile to each other and why Ib was trying to calm both of them down. The Court decided to give the trio a place to stay in the Pantheons as well as a divine role as the '''Divine Party of [[FictionalPainting Fictional Artworks]]'''. Mary was overjoyed to find out that she can live a life outside the Fabricated World as well as hang out more with Ib, although she is a bit disappointed that she is still a painting and not fully human and that Garry was still around. On Garry's side, he is happy that Ib is safe and willing to protect her from Mary should she act up again.
* To say that the trio's relationship with each other is strained is quite the understatement. Mary had a strong desire to escape the Fabricated World and live together with Ib, and saw Garry as an obstacle to her goals, so it was inevitable that she would try to have him killed to varying success. Because of this, Garry and Mary are quite opposed to each other, and tense up whenever they see each other. Ib, having bonded with them in multiple paths, would do her best to act as a mediator and prevent any fights and murders from occurring. They have reached an agreement that Ib would hang out with Garry and Mary respectively on seperate days, though it's a rather begrudging deal on Garry's and Mary's side given their issues with each other.
* Their temple is split into three sections, each one belonging to one of the trio. Within Mary's section is the Fabricated World painting that acts as a portal to the painted world in question. Mary makes frequent trips to the world so she can visit and hang out with her fellow paintings and tell them about her day. Ib and Garry predictably refuse to get near the painting due to their negative experiences with the painted world, as the many artworks have tried to kill them. Other deities have expressed an interest in visiting the painted world, though Mary is quite afraid of those that could potentially destroy the realm and kill its inhabitants, such as those who utilize and weaponize fire, as their flames can quickly reduce the paintings, including her, to ash. She is especially mortified by Judge Doom, whose Dip formula and hatred of Toons guarantee that he would bring apocalyptic destruction to the Fabricated World if he decides to storm it one day.
* While the living paintings of Weiss Guertena not named Mary are stuck within the Fabricated World, the case cannot be said for the sentient drawings that reside in the Pantheon, who can wander around the realm just fine. Predictably, Ib and Garry keep their distance from any and all of them due to their bad experiences in the Fabricated World, knowing that any encounters would bring up terrible memories and would be an awkward experience anyways. Mary, however, decided to meet up with each of them to make more like-minded friends. While Ramo, Lola and Quill live within their own painting, they are able to access the Fabricated World with no issue. The denizens of the world aren't hostile to them and they get along with Mary, who they find to be a pleasant young girl. Mary is happy to make new friends, though she does try to hide her less savory actions from them. Another living drawing she befriended was Bendy, who got along with her rather quickly and they like to pull pranks on other deities on occasion. She thinks his monstrous forms look cool, though she is aware of the danger he possesses in those forms and keeps her distance whenever he transforms. Her relationship with Snap White is more strained in that they tend to squabble a lot, plus Rudy Tabootie keeps trying to keep Snap away from her as her presence makes him uneasy. While she relates to Drawcia as they are both living paintings who escaped from their canvas, she does wonder if Drawcia's desire and drive to convert the entire world into a painting will cause any clashes with her painting friends. She is baffled by Dorian Gray's supernatural connection with his self-portrait; it makes sense that she's linked to hers as that was the canvas she was painted on, but Dorian is a flash and blood human; how did he end up getting his life bound to a painting like how the roses were connected to Ib and Garry? She continues to ponder this mystery to this day.
** Speaking of Drawcia, Ib and Garry would end up encountering Kirby, who has fought against Drawcia once. Ib found the puffball to be adorable and couldn't resist the temptation to hug him, while Garry was initially apprehensive of the strange pink creature, but quickly warmed up to him as Kirby proved that he wasn't malevolent by playing with Ib. However, they are a bit uncomfortable regarding one of Kirby's friends, Adeleine. They know she's a good person, but their negative experiences with living artwork make them nervous whenever she brings her paintings to life. The same can be said for Eko, so they keep their distance from them to prevent any awkward situations. Kirby hopes that one day the and Adeleine can become proper friends.
* The Fabricated World painting was one of the many artworks by Weiss Guertena on display in a museum exhibition. What would've been just a mundane, ordinary visit to the museum turned for the fantastical when Ib and Garry were sucked inside the painted world. They're not the only ones who had experience with strange museums, Larry Daley became a night guard at a museum where the exhibits come to life at night, of which he must try to manage through his shifts. Both parties relate to their shared experiences in surviving the living exhibits, though Larry does note that Ib and Garry's experience was much worse than his given that every exhibit was trying to kill them while he managed to get along with the exhibits. Because of this, it's unlikely he'll let himself get near Mary anytime soon for his safety. Ib and Garry have thoroughly refused to visit the AMNH as they don't want to deal with living exhibits, much less hostile ones anymore.
* Within the Fabricated World, the trio were in possession of peculiar roses. [[SoulJar These roses were linked to their life; they will perish if all petals fall off]]. As being harmed causes the petals to fall, it makes sense to avoid any and all harmful situations. Mary's rose is a decoy to hide her true nature and blend in better with the other two. Like the two, the Beast was also bound by an enchanted rose; should the last petal fall before he gets to love another or is loved in return, he will remain trapped in his cursed form forever. The three alongside with Belle noted the coincidence, and got along with each other well, respecting their strong bonds that allowed them to persist through many dangers. The Little Prince takes care of a single rose on his tiny planet, believing it to be special and unique. Ib and Garry got to hang out with him on his planet and admired his dear rose, and the Little Prince was fascinated by their story, with the idea of a world containing living artworks to be fascinating.
* Entering an unfamiliar, hostile location while seperated from your parents is quite nerve-wracking for any young child. While Ib was certainly confused and scared of her surroundings, she nevertheless braved through the dangerous environment by herself before bumping into Garry and Mary. Like her, Frisk fell into the Underground, a subterranean society where monsters live. Ib and Frisk got to know and befriend each other very quickly, with Frisk introducing her to their friends. Ib was horrified to learn of timelines where Frisk killed the denizens of the Underground, especially as they are largely benevolent unlike the hostile artworks of the Fabricated World. Niko is also a child who was dropped in an unfamilar land, and although the denizens were overall pleasant, they were tasked with saving the world from certain doom. Ib and Niko got along very quickly, with both of them enthusiastically asking each other questions about their journeys to sate their curiosity. Likewise, she and Ava Drevis got along quickly for their similar situations in being trapped in hostile locations, with Ib pitying her for being hunted down by [[Pantheon/CraftingMaterials her father]]. However, she is much more apprehensive regarding Madotsuki, as her dwelling and wandering her nightmarish dream world and tendency to stab the dream denizens remind her of Mary's worse qualities, plus Madotsuki's quiet loner nature would making bonding more difficult.
** If there's anything that the three of them agree on, it's that they're terrified of the Oni. All three of them happened to be targeted by the monster during a certain night, upon which they ran for their lives once it suddenly emerged from nowhere. While Ib and Garry were used to being chased by hostile creatures, Mary didn't have that prior experience, so a life-threatening situation like this was quite a shock to her. They're uncertain of what exactly happens if they get caught by the beast, but they're not entertaining the idea of being caught anytime soon.
* One of the many rooms the trio went through was filled with unsettling-looking dolls. Since Ib was hallucinating at the time, she saw them as cute bunnies, while Garry and Mary saw them for what they truly look like. Gary was deeply unsettled by the dolls, while Mary thought they were cute. When Garry was seperated from the girls, he had to proceed on his own, which led him to getting trapped in another room filled with the dolls. To escape, he must dig out a key that was hidden inside one of the dolls before a large doll comes out of a painting. If he fails, his memories of Mary's true nature get wiped. Needless to say, Garry is mortified by any creepy dolls due to the traumatizing experience. The mere presence of creepy living dolls like Chucky and Laetita quickly trigger his traumatic memories and make him run away whenever he spots them, with their deadly antics not endearing them to him in the slightest. Chucky finds his suffering amusing even if he's not one of his preferred targets, while Laetitia's interested in gifting him with her signature pranks to introduce him to her spider friends.
* When Ib and Garry first bumped into Mary, they initially believed her to be another human who was sucked into the Fabricated World. However, the two would come to learn that she is actually one of the many living paintings dwelling in the realm who longed to escape the confines of her home and experience human pleasures like eating sweets and visiting beaches. Her desire to escape is so strong that she is willing to harm the duo should they get in the way of her goals. Pinocchio and Nano, other non-humans who longed to be human, greatly pity her for her tragic plight, especially as most of the scenarios end in her failing and/or dying, but her violent tendencies make them hesitant to approach her. Mary sees them as potential friends due to this shared experience, yet feels rather jealous of how they ended up achieving their goals in either becoming human or just being accepted by others and living happily with them, something she struggled greatly with.
* When it comes to Mary specifically, loneliness has always been an issue for the poor deity. Having been trapped in the Fabricated World so long meant that she had very few friends or even people in general to hang out, that is, until Ib & Garry entered, and all three of them arriving at the Pantheon. Strangely enough, two Franchise/TouhouProject deities would also take notice of the painted girl and befriend her. The first was Keiki Haniyasushin, who found herself fond for Mary as she had been essentially a neglected piece of art, a fate that she would never subject her herald Mayumi Joutouguu to, and therefore took her under her wing as an apprentice. Secondly was Koishi Komeiji, who became fast friends with Mary over their similar color palettes, rose motifs, and playfulness- and given that [[NotAllowedToGrowUp nobody truly ages in the Pantheon]], Mary can never really forget Koishi.

* In the late eighteenth century, Marianne, a painter, travelled to an isolated island in Brittany (northwest France). She was commissioned to create a portrait of a young lady, Héloïse, who was soon to be married to a Milanese aristocrat. Héloïse was unhappy about the arranged marriage and refused to sit for any portrait. Marianne thus hid her trade from her and posed as a companion on her walks, in which she was to memorize her features to create the portrait. The two grew close enough for Marianne to feel guilty about the ruse and reveal the finished portrait to Héloïse, who found it flawed. Unsatisfied, Marianne scrapped it and started over, with a willing Héloïse posing for it. Throughout this process, love blossomed between them and they started an affair. But it could not last due to the time and society they lived in. Once the work was finished, Héloïse had to go get married and Marianne had to leave. They did not forget each other as time passed though, with them communicating their affection for each other in other paintings.
* That they could not be together is infuriating for many people, including some deities in the Pantheon. In an attempt at remedying this, it was decided to grant them the chance to reunite, by ascending them. Marianne was drawn first into the Pantheon by the promise of a new commission; she thought it was ironic that the sender appeared to be from the same region where she had her fateful encounter with Héloïse, but when crossing the sea she was dropped off at an oddly black-and-white island which she discovered was inhabited by only two women, Alma and Elisabet. They recognized Marianne and Alma brought her up to speed on what was going on, explaining that she had the choice to invite Héloïse in and stay together. Marianne naturally thought this all might be a dream, but she may as well enjoy it and was curious to see just how they would bring her to Héloïse, who was in Milan.
** Turns out the answer to this is, by way of a white wolf with red markings, as Amaterasu was waiting just outside Alma and Elisabet's temple, waiting to help a fellow painter out. Riding on Amaterasu's back, Marianne ended up in Milan and face-to-face with Héloïse much sooner than she expected. Héloïse, seeing Marianne with a white wolf next to her, most likely thought this was all a dream too, given she didn't ask very many questions and agreed quite easily to go with Marianne. With that, the two were brought to the Main House, where they were pronounced goddesses (and it was also stressed they could go back anytime to attend to their earthly duties). Only when they got to their temple did they pinch each other to finally disprove their belief that it was a dream. Any questions as to their new situation were left for the next day as they basked in the feeling of being together again.
* As a result of their ascension, the House of Craft now exhibits all the paintings attributed to Marianne. We say "attributed" because a lot of them are signed under her father's name so she wouldn't be instantly dismissed, so that Marianne now gets due recognition for her work gladdens both her and Héloïse. Marianne herself later helped cataloguing them and also arranged for her father's work to be exhibited. The paintings on display have made many deities with an artistic bent interested in the couple and respectful of their bittersweet story.
** Specific artists who are friendly with the two include Jane Lane and Helen Graham. Jane, being an "alternative" girl, has more respect than usual for the couple for realizing that the norms of their society are kind of crappy and helping others despite the illegality of it and lack of benefit to themselves (such as helping the maid Sophie get an abortion). Helen, though a little more disapproving, at least understands where they are coming from, since they are all women who are trying to make their way in a world where the rules tend to work against them.
* One of the first things they had to get used to was that the subjects of paintings could sometimes take on a life of their own, as they discovered when they met Ramo, Lola and Quill. They were sympathetic to how Marianne and Héloïse had their romance frustrated by societal obstacles, given they had to contend with an unfair society in their own world, and more specifically, Ramo also had a forbidden romance with Claire and they both suffered for it. The three also find themselves thinking that if only their creator had been more like Marianne, that is, inspired by love instead of creatively hampered, their painting would have been finished faster.
* Not all animate paintings are as nice as Ramo, Lola and Quill, as they cautioned the couple about beings like Drawcia, Friede and Ariandel, with Drawcia being obsessed with turning the whole world into a painting, and Friede and Ariandel fanatic about preserving their home painting. Marianne and Héloïse heed these warnings and do think those deities sound horrifying, though at the same time they doubt any of them care about the couple's existence as there's little or nothing they would be able to do to stop them. The two just don't think often about them.
* Rose Bukater and Jack Dawson are another famous couple who were sadly torn apart after only a few short days of knowing each other. In their case it was arguably more tragic, as Jack died to save Rose. As it happens, Jack is also a pretty talented artist, so it wasn't long before he and Marianne met at each other to talk about their work. Rose and Héloïse also hit it off easily because of their commonality of being high-ranked ladies who were expected to marry husbands chosen for them. Rose managed to get out of the obligation, which was obviously not the case for Héloïse, although she admits that her Milanese husband gives her no reason to complain so far, whereas Cal Hockley seems like the worst type of husband. Now, the biggest question is, is Jack's famous nude drawing of Rose putting ideas in Marianne's head? For her part, Héloïse told Marianne she wouldn't mind if she wanted to draw her like that.
* Deciding to try one of the bars in the Pantheon (presumably it would be unthinkable back in their world, at least for a proper lady like Héloïse), they came across the joint run by Jill Stingray, who was reminded of her own love story with a woman named Lenore upon entering conversation with them. That was a story that also ended in tears, as they had a huge fight after which they never saw each other again, and then Lenore died of illness. Jill thus wishes the best for Marianne and Héloïse. The two felt all the more blessed for the Pantheon providing them with the opportunity to be with each other, which would be nigh impossible in their world. They also keep Jill occasional company out of compassion.
* They visited Alma and Elisabet again as courtesy for helping out when Marianne had just arrived. They find it a funny coincidence that Alma and Elisabet also live in relative isolation on an island. Possibly as a consequence, they also made some... assumptions about the nature of Alma and Elisabet's relationship, which Alma vehemently denied when she realized the implications. Elisabet, however, neither denied nor confirmed it and amused herself with Alma's reaction. Marianne and Héloïse apologized and calmed things down before the situation escalated.
* Shortly it occurred to Alma that she knew of a place Marianne might find interesting as a painter, so she took them to the temple inhabited by Agnes, Anna, Karin and Maria. The magnificently decorated mansion with its vibrant colors was indeed very fascinating to Marianne and Héloïse and they were welcomed by Agnes, who is herself interested in painting and was enthusiastic to have them. Karin is still not nice to strangers, though for Agnes' sake she tolerated Marianne asking her to pose in such and such manner in front of a red wall (Maria did it rather more gladly). To Marianne's artistic eyes, all the complementing and contrasting colors were a great source of inspiration for her next work.
* They've come into contact with ''yet another'' duo isolated on an island, this time by receiving an impromptu visit from a gloomy-looking sailor called Thomas Wake, a lighthouse keeper. He explained that he lived a damned life with Ephraim Winslow for sole company and admitted he felt a little jealous of Marianne and Héloïse for being so happy together in their own isolated place. While he left shortly after, Marianne and Héloïse think it's probably better to steer well clear from him and Ephraim after doing research on them, given they seem very unhinged. Though on the brightside, Marianne and Héloïse have come to think they were quite lucky to meet each other on that island.

* A certain painting was inhabited by characters who divided themselves into three castes: the Alldunns, who were completely painted in and therefore finished; the Halfies, who were incomplete; and lastly the Sketchies, who were just outlines. The Alldunns held themselves as superior, encouraged by their chief, the Great Candlestick, and were the only ones allowed to live in the castle. The Halfies and Sketchies were relegated to the garden and often treated brutally by the Alldunns for their own amusement. However Ramo, an Alldunn, was compassionate towards the Halfies and Sketchies and argued for equality. Ramo was also in love with an Halfie named Claire. This romance wasn't thought of highly by either faction, though Claire had a friend, Lola, who supported her. Meanwhile there was Quill, a Sketchie who saw his friend Gum get maimed by Alldunns. Ramo, Lola and Quill teamed up by chance to escape persecution, and went on a journey to get their creator to finish their painting so their rotten society would be no more. They got out of their painting and visited many others, getting a new companion in Magenta, a drummer tired of the war his painting was locked into. In the end they took matters into their own hands and colored their paintings themselves, solving the problems within them.
* The painting caught the attention of famed artists Leonardo da Vinci and Vincent van Gogh after they heard about the strange story of how its subjects were alive and endeavored to complete themselves. The two strongly recommended that such a special painting be put on display in the hallowed galleries of the House of Craft. The request was acquiesced to, and Ramo, Lola and Quill granted godhood for their heroic actions in completing the work, which is simply labelled "The Painting/Le Tableau". The existence of the Pantheon doesn't faze the three much, since they already got used to traversing through different worlds in their adventure. If anything, they're proud to be in an exhibition. And yeah, their temple is pretty much their painting. Very space-efficient.
* Things in the Pantheon aren't easy even if you live inside the relatively isolated world of a painting though, as Ramo, Lola and Quill (as well as the painting's whole population) found out the hard way when the Inklings brought one of their splatting sessions too close and ended up badly staining the work. Many of the painting's characters were struck, which is tantamount to killing them (as Ramo and Claire could explain to you as they were nearly executed in a similar manner). The three heroes and their Heralds somehow managed to escape and rued the apocalypse that had befallen their home.
** Not all was lost however. In an attempt to apologize, the Inklings told the characters about a goddess who wielded a Celestial Brush and who would certainly be able to restore the painting to its full glory. The only problem was that she lived in a completely different House, though that meant little to the characters if it meant restoring their home. And Lola specifically was rather stoked about exploring the Pantheon besides. Eventually, after a harduous journey, they did meet said goddess, Amaterasu, and were befuddled and rather frightened that she was a wolf. Quill in particular wondered how such a fleabag was supposed to help them; Lola was more curious. Her Celestial Envoy Issun did the talking though, which was good for the characters as Issun was about their size and easier to relate to, though Lola did not appreciate his attempts at flirting or offering to complete her design. At any rate, Amaterasu was totally willing to help restore the painting, and she did so, and the characters couldn't help but marvel at how peerless her brushwork was. Ever since then, they have the utmost respect for Amaterasu, as well as her friendship.
** Incidentally, although the Inklings were of help to them, the painting's denizens are of the opinion that they don't really want them around if there's any danger of them breaking out into their games that could damage the painting again. The Inklings agree to be more careful, but their reputation is cemented within the painting as bringers of the apocalypse. Meanwhile, Lola is pondering whether it would be possible for her and her friends to learn the Celestial Brush technique, so that other similar catastrophes that strike their home can be dealt with more promptly by themselves. It would mean spending more time with that annoying Issun, but that's a lesser evil.
* For someone more frightful than the Inklings could ever be, there is Judge Doom, and it would definitely not be an accident if he ever attempted to destroy the painting, as he holds a hatred for all things animated (which the painting, well, ''is'', despite that seeming self-contradictory). The trio is horrified that Judge Doom is actually made of ink just like them, and cannot fathom why he would turn against his kind so violently. The painting's denizens live in dread of the Dip, which could dissolve them without leaving any trace.
** One good thing came out of this, which is that the trio met and befriended Roger Rabbit and learned about the existence of toons, beings made of ink like them that lived in the real world, mostly working as actors. It was rather interesting for them to learn that there are tensions between flesh and bone human beings and the toons. It makes them wonder what would happen if painting characters decided to move into the real world permanently. For now though, the trio are happy living in their painting.
* They were initially happy to learn that there were other inhabitants of paintings around, namely Friede and Ariandel. That enthusiasm died out though, when it came out that Friede had been in cahoots with the Great Candlestick to return him to his place of authority. It was also then that it came out the horrible things Friede had done for the sake of preserving her painting world, which actually caused it to stagnate and rot, and her manipulations of Ariandel, who the trio can't help but feel sorry for. Either way, in order to prevent their world from incurring a similar fate and the Great Candlestick from having his way (he's pretty sore about not having been made a god on top of everything), they take care to guard their painting from Friede and Ariandel.
* When Kirby heard that a bunch of LivingDrawing deities had ascended, he thought of his battles with Drawcia, a sorceress who was also born from a painting and broke out into the real world wishing to turn it into art. So Kirby visited the new deities to make it clear for himself what their intentions were. Kirby learned that they don't think ill of the real world at all and had nothing against the man who created them, even after making them languish in incompletion for as long as he did. Once that was settled, Kirby decided they were friends, much to the trio's confusion, though they accepted it.
* As far as deities who are unsatisfied with their home worlds go, Ramo, Lola and Quill were surprised to find a similar case in a totally different piece of media, that of Wreck-it Ralph, who was so sick of playing the bad guy who always lost at the end that he tried to escape his video game. The trio can see where the big guy is coming from, even if they never went as far as wanting to leave their world completely (except maybe Lola); being constantly shunned just for performing his designated role must feel rather similar to how Halfies and Sketchies were treated just for being the way they were when they couldn't help it. They're happy that Ralph managed to find happiness in his world in the end. Lola also seems to have really hit it off with Ralph's best friend Vanellope, with both being on the adventurous side and happy in being imperfect.
* They have learned to watch out for the fabled Rock of Ages in case it decides to pass by their world; the Rock is known for travelling through various works of art and occasionally influencing what is displayed in a major way (like "The Scream" ending up the way it did because the character's sunscreen was switched out for super-glue). They want to make sure the Rock doesn't have similar irreversible effects in their world.
* There was one time when a small pink dog called Courage, along with his owners Muriel and Eustace, visited the exhibition with the painting. At that point the planets aligned and something strange happened; the characters in the paintings switched places with the visitors. Courage had been in a similar situation before, but he was still in a panic for Muriel's safety. However this time, Ramo, Lola and Quill were around, and they sympathized with the determined little dog enough to help him. The motley crew managed to get things back to normal in time and saved Muriel and Eustace from becoming characters in a painting forever. Courage is thankful to them for this and considers them friends; the feeling is mutual.

* Scott Cawthon was once an obscure computer game designer that no one relatively knew about in particular. At least that was the case until one day he created a [[ConstructionAndManagementGames construction and management game]] called ''VideoGame/ChipperAndSonsLumberCo''. However, the game was harshly criticized, as the characters' stiff movements were likened to unnerving animatronic creatures. Distraught, he fell into a depression until he decided to make one last game before calling it quits for good. This is that game that introduced everyone to their new nightmares and made people never look at Creator/ChuckECheese the same way again. The rest, as they say, was history.
* Considered to be one of the most enigmatic characters of the Pantheon. He constantly throws out hints and clues to his fanbase as they to figure out the complete lore of his world. Even after his initial tale was complete, people are still trying to look into the pieces he left behind. It was decided that no one was better at making his fans tick than Scott.
** His creations do not like him, most of all Michael Afton. Given [[WouldHurtAChild what]] [[HauntedTechnology happens]] in anything Fazbear-related, RageAgainstTheAuthor is kind of justified here.
* Didn't invent the idea of HostileAnimatronics, but popularized them as the Fazbear gang are the most well-known examples. He liked the idea of [=.GIFfany=], however insists she has nothing to do with the {{Yandere}} Chica anime scenes in ''VideoGame/FreddyFazbearsPizzeriaSimulator''. Mordecai and Rigby have also dealt with HostileAnimatronics before
* It should be noted that Scott is Christian and is very religious (the man did Christian games once upon a time). He insists that he [[AGodIAmNot is not a real god]], and is simply happy with being acknowledged for his work. He regularly visits the St. Katherine's Parish to see the nun's performances. Thanks to his humble beginnings Scott became an inspiration to other amateur game developers hoping to create the next big sensation. He even has a few fans in the Pantheon who were in awe of his work.
* Given how terrifying his works are, there are a few people who don't really like him. Several gods reportedly had nightmares of his minions chasing after them. One game review named Jirard even stated that he had to visit a psychiatrist regularly after reviewing five of his games due to his stress anxiety and absolutely refused to look at his sixth one.
* Respected by members of the House of Fear, particularly Spooky. Freddy Krueger approves of how he brings out nightmares and the way he kills kids in his games, and Jonathan Crane finds the terror of his games intriguing. Scott would rather keep his distance from them in person.
* Because of his teasing nature, he gets along well with Andrew Hussie and George R.R. Martin. Though he disagrees with George's habit of killing fan favorites just to shock and break fans. It's because of his strange nature that he's looked on by the likes of the Question, Luna, the Pine Twins, and Mystery Inc. with interest. Scott himself looks up to H.P Lovecraft as a source of writing horror, though fortunately, this hasn't resulted in some major EldritchAbomination of an animatronic entering the games(well, maybe Golden Freddy).
* Just wants to make it clear to the SCP Foundation he wasn't behind [[http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-492 SCP-429]]. However, he really likes the horror angle many of the [=SCPs=] have and wonders if they could inspire him for more ideas in his games. Depending on who you ask this is terrifying, nice to know, [[NightmareFetishist or both]].
* The Comic Book Guy is one of those trying to learn the secrets of his lore. The with every theory fans throughout, they never seem to be getting closer to the truth. The comic guy doesn't seem intimidated by it at all. He welcomes the challenge.
* Wondered if [[WebVideo/GameTheory Mat Pat]] was in the pantheon, but couldn't find one of his biggest fan theorizer and over-analyzer. Some more cynical deities were pleased because they are want to snark at Cawthon's plots for [[KudzuPlot being all over the place]] and accuse him of making it up as they go along. Though with [[TeasingCreator Scott]], you never know what he planned in advance and what he came up with for the next games.
* Believe it or not, Scott is the only god in the Pantheon that can transform into an Overdeity by himself through his boss avatar in ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddysWorld''. At will. With no catch, beyond his own reluctance because the game is an OldShame of his. This development has confused many of the upper-tier gods, as there has not been such a being to be able to do this before. Beerus and Whis seem to be the ones who are most interested in Scott for this reason, though Beerus seems more interested in seeing how powerful Scott can be when he goes all out.
* ''"It was fun being the Puppetmaster, but now I grow weary. It's time to put you in your place. Now let me show you how this game ends."''

* Opposed and Hated by: '''The Houses of Pantheon/{{Musicality}} and Pantheon/{{School}}''', [[Pantheon/DreadAndValor Courage the Cowardly Dog]]
* Shaffer Conservatory, a prestigious center for musicians and band artists alike. Many musicians aim high at their careers and some are born through effort of the highest degree. The Conservatory has numerous teachers, but none are more feared and avoided than Terence Fletcher. He may have a knack of spotting and recruiting talented musicians compared to other teachers, his methods on the other hand are quite unsavory: physically and psychologically abusing his own students to the point of submission in order to iron out their flaws. After years of trying, Fletcher hit it big when he took an aspiring drummer by the name of Andrew Neiman under his wing and led him to a stellar performance at a music festival. What entailed during the trials of Neiman's learning sessions were filled with blood, sweat and tears as Fletcher's teaching habits and abusive mentality turned one of his own aspiring students into a muddled wreck, until the festival itself where he finally showed his efforts in front of a pleased crowd and his own mentor. While the implications of the performance [[EsotericHappyEnding were less than positive]] and Neiman's fate more so, it was enough to show that for all his worth, Fletcher's methods are a prime example of a teacher's ruthlessness when it comes to perfection.
* Fletcher's day was suddenly distured when a private letter came from one of Shaffer's staff, calling him for a "private session". Calling his class off for the day, he was called for a meeting but not the usual staff meeting. He was sent to a room that was a gateway to a large area akin to a courtroom. From there, he noticed several hooded people of large size discussing about him, of which he could hear and proceeded to disturb their judgement, as well as mentioning his scheduled sessions with Andrew and his class. Ignored, Fletcher suddenly brought out a cymbal to show that he was not joking and answer the reason for this meeting, of which they did and clarified that he was viable for ascension. His title? ''[[MuseAbuse Very abusive]]'' teachers. He was quite okay for such a harmful title but considering who he is, it matches. He was sent back in the Conservatory to resume his classes, aware of his "ascension".
* His reputation as a teacher is a rather controversial position he is in. The Pantheon has known stories of abusive teachers and he stands among the top. This has lead to many to disavow him positions within the Houses of Pantheon/{{School}} and Pantheon/{{Musicality}} as they are not willing to add a teacher like him within their list of teachers. Thought thanks to his domain, Fletcher mostly spends his time out in a music classroom he commissioned in the House of Music, open to those who dare seek out his tutelage. Most students are too WeakWilled to handle his teaching for more than a day, but those who muscle through it [[TheExtremistWasRight end up being better musicians]], not without the sacrifice most will have to deal with under his helm, as shown by his herald, Andrew Neiman. Even with his skills being truth of what he can teach, many believe it is not worth it and can be learned through more peaceful alternatives instead of resorting into a perfectionist mindset.
* Jazz Music is his jam and Fletcher has dedication to such. It does not take long till people realize that dedication can often lead to perfectionism and can foster a nasty host of personalities. He exemplifies all of that, as his desire for perfect musicians creates in him a sadistic and prejudicial mindset towards others, pushing others to their greatest limit. Some (or at least one) have succeeded while others fail and quit or worse, commit suicide, due to his abuse to nearly every student under his helm. That is also accompanied by his awareness to people who see him as such and even does not care about what they think. To many this is enough to be put off by his methods and often than not will choose other teachers over him. He even says it so, implying that a "good job" is simply not enough.
-->'''Fletcher''': There are no two words in the English language more harmful than, "Good job."
** Despite this, there are some moments of peace for Fletcher as he can be remorseful and emotional at times. Once crying over the death of his former protégé Sean Casey, and even laughing and playing along with former students of his, suggesting that underneath that perfectionist mentality in him, there lies respect for those he understands with. It is just that he prefers that his methods not be gentle, afterall he sees being gentle as neither productive nor satisfying and prefers to weed out the incompetence of others, even if that means bullying them at their patience in a sadistic manner.
* The mentioning of his name within the halls of the House of School and Music has left many students and some artists at complete fear, as his story is rather infamous for his harsh methods. His presence has only fanned the flames, some outright kicking him out in some occasions, even to the point that the House of School once planned on banning him. However, some of the advertisements still mention him though there will be a warning afterwards to those interested in being a part of Fletcher's class, which includes anxiety, disconnected relations and well... suicide for the more extreme cases. Even he himself has professed that the advertisement will come in handy as he can have more students outside Shaffer Conservatory.
* Very few teachers will go to extreme lengths Fletcher is known for, and those that do such have the same infamy placed like him. Case in point: John Kreese. Both him and John follow the same philosophies and are very ruthless in their teachings. Their students have gone through abusive methods to achieve what they have learned and do not care about how the outside perceives them, earning them the infamy the two have scored. Then there is the fact that both of them have the same victory with their students, with Fletcher having Andrew Neiman succeed with his career or not and Kreese having the full control of Cobra Kai and turning the tables against Johnny Lawrence, letting him taste the feeling of being forced to wander the streets. The two can be seen sometimes overseeing their teaching careers even though Fletcher has been fired from it though the Pantheon has overturned it for his position.
** Severus Snape was called out in some instances for his harsh teaching methods around Hogwarts for some time and so it would seem that the two have each other's attention, with the similar attitude and their dedication for a greater cause. This would seem great for the two of them and in some instances, yes but considering how two of Fletcher's students have suffered troublesome fates despite his best intentions, Snape has yet to warm himself around him, the last thing he wants is the House of School ruined because of an insistent perfectionist.
* Some people have no mercy towards him for his harsh lessons moreso pitiful for the two protégés he had since the two did kill themselves with some doing so far as to showcase to him how to be both strict yet merciful at the same time. John Kreese's former student Johnny Lawrence was among the first to show him some lessons he learned from past Cobra Kai and even proved he can still be stable after overthrowing Kreese from the Dojo, the latter of which made Fletcher laugh as mentioned with Lawrence being homeless and with nothing left following Cobra Kai being overthrown by his former teacher. The other one however, Izumi Curtis, was far more successful with her showcase, able to teach the Elric Brothers through overcoming harsh lessons (like the one time where she left them stranded on an island just to teach them survival and dependency as brothers) and even called Fletcher out for being an immense prick and a sociopath since she at least have a heart towards the two. He just simply ignored her showcase and walked away, learning nothing from it.
** However, there are people (or in this case, a dog) who can handle the harsh teachings of similar teachers, provided they can handle their self-esteem. Shown when Courage, the Cowardly Dog, was able to handle the torment of one "Perfect" Teacher through moral guidance and remembering the words "you're not perfect" shown by one [[Pantheon/FearInducers nightmare]]. Though in hindsight, why would Fletcher care for a dog over an actual human, a statement Courage understood as he desperately tried to convince the teacher on change.
** Even after his time travelling shenanigans, there is something Marty [=McFly=] thinks about whenever he sees Fletcher. He reminds him greatly of Principal Strickland and may even believe him to be far worse than the latter, mainly because of the whole mistreat your students idea. Hearing the fate of Andrew after his performance, he called Fletcher out on his teaching methods, mainly because for a teacher to treat his students like trash does not make his intentions noble and for the record, Strickland may be funny to look at but Fletcher not, rather he is scary to look at.
* Since Music is one of his domains, the House of Music has vehemently allowed him in but the other inhabitants are not so happy with his presence. Some either because of his teaching methods or the fact that [[ArtisticLicenseMusic his "jazz" is fake]] ([[https://youtu.be/SFYBVGdB7MU and some even criticising it to be not actually jazz]]). Among those who he verbally ostracize include Bill and Ted and Houkago Tea Time mainly because their genres, rock and pop, respectively, are the reason why 'jazz is dying'. Even among other music deities, he still gives them a bad rap mainly because some of them, like those within girl bands or boy bands, excuse their incompetence and as a result, has left him dissatisfied with their performances. Instead, he will have to wait to see if there are students willing to join his class.
** Jazz musicians especially in the case of Kousei Arima and Kaori Miyazono have ignored him for a while, though Kousei cannot help but be reminded of his mom who was also a perfectionist in his piano lessons whenever he sees Fletcher. At one point, hearing his notes, he came in and berated his piano skills for not being on par, and with true sadistic fashion mocked him for not moving on from Kaori's death, pushing him in the break of his patience. After he left in tears, Fletcher has one thing to say to drive home his lack of empathy:
--->'''Fletcher''': You are a worthless, friendless, faggot-lipped little piece of shit whose mommy left daddy when she figured out he wasn't Eugene O'Neill and who's now weeping and slobbering all over a piano set like a fucking nine-year-old girl!
* Spider-Man cannot help but think Fletcher is another version of J. Jonah Jameson since he is eerily similar from their strict guidelines and lack of care towards their employees/students. He admits that he would prefer Jameson since he does not border in sociopathic when it comes to personality, if anything, Jameson just has bias while Fletcher is both sociopathic and ruthless. Then the similarities come around with [[Creator/JKSimmons a certain mortal]] who [[Film/SpiderManTrilogy did a rather good impression as Jameson]]. Jameson's response however showed that he is different to Fletcher in many ways, especially on the employees part. He does care about them it is just that he has to maintain some form of order in his job, case in point: [[ComicBook/Inferno1988 him actually defending his employees in an actual demonic invasion]].
* Anger between two perfectionist types will often result with large amounts of shouting and in some cases, bragging about who got to teach better in their respective arts. It would not be a surprise that the first encounter of both Gordon Ramsey and Fletcher lead to intense shouting between the two. Then came them bragging about their teaching and how many people managed to earn their respect, with Ramsey having quite many and Fletcher having only two who are also dead. In the end, Ramsey had the better reputation as he is not willing to put other people's lives at risk for their profession while Fletcher will go tooth and nail to achieve his desired results.
* Fletcher has another house seated right under Pantheon/{{Personality}}, on Pantheon/ExtrovertFlaws.
