You'd be surprised by how many creepy moments are within these ''Mickey Mouse'' shorts...
----
* The ending to "Goofy's Grandma", where Goofy was revealed to have been scared of going in his house because there's a spider. Mickey opens the door to get rid of it, and behind it is a giant, [[MediumBlending live-action]] spider smacking its fangs together.
* Goofy as a zombie looks incredibly disturbing and decrepit, especially when he first appears onscreen in vivid detail (which provides the page image).
* "Down the Hatch" has a shrunken Mickey and Goofy going into Donald's body and messing with it. The most jarring example is when the two bounced around Donald's lungs, leaving the poor duck unable to breathe.
* A mishap at Ludwig Von Drake's lab resulted in all of Donald's overabundance of anger being compounded and morphed into Anger-Donald, a massive, hulking beast with blood red eyes. Immediately after its birth, it proceeded to smash its way out of Von Drake's lab and wreck havoc into the city.
* The last segment of "The Scariest Story Ever" is undoubtedly dark, as Mickey tells his friends and the children of a story about a witch that lures naughty boys to her house and she captures them and bakes them into pies.
** Even before the witch reveals her true form, the few moments in her granny form are terrifying, especially when she confronts Huey, giving a SlasherSmile as she rotates her head down ninety degrees.
** The witch shows Huey what became of his brothers and friends: all baked into pies while still '''ALIVE!'''
---> '''Louie:''' Hey, who turn out the lights?
** All of this was the result of Mickey being pushed to the brink after the children made fun of him. When the story ends, Mickey rubs more salt in the wound by throwing a blanket on the now traumatized boys to make them think they're going to be turned into pies.
* Mickey's SanitySlippage in "My Little Garden" is disturbing to say the least.
** The giant bugs - unlike in "Mickey's Garden" where they still look cartoonish, the bugs here are drawn to be more monstrous, resembling something that came out of a Lovecraftian horror story.
* "Just for the Four of Us" is played liked a Horror Invasion thriller where Donald and Daisy have to hide from Mickey and Minnie, with a few surprisingly effective {{Jump Scare}}s.
* "Mickey Monkey" ends with the disturbing implication that Minnie, Donald, and Goofy were [[KillAndReplace eaten and replaced by alligators]] offscreen. Thank goodness for NegativeContinuity.
