1The Rita (sometimes stylized as THE RITA) is a musical project started by Canadian artist [=Sam McKinlay=]. Started in UsefulNotes/{{Vancouver}} in the [[MusicOfThe1990s 1990s]], The Rita is largely credited for creating the "[[HarshNoise Harsh Noise Wall]]" subgenre, and coining the term. Majority of The Rita's music isn't on streaming services besides [=Youtube=] and Bandcamp.
