Shortly after the death of her grandmother, 14-year-old Ichika falls for a strange girl named Aria. Aria does strange things, the most alarming being biting Ichika's neck and drawing some of her blood. So begins the love story between a human girl and a vampire girl.

Written and illustrated by Shou Higashiyama (creator of ''Manga/{{Prism}}'' and ''Manga/{{Stretch}}''), the manga was serialized in ''[[Magazine/ShonenSunday Monthly Sunday Gene-X]]'' from 2019 to 2023 and compiled into eight volumes.

!!The manga provides examples of:
* AmusingInjuries: Sakuya often gets these as a result of earning her daughter's wrath.
* AmnesiacLover: [[spoiler: Ichika is this for one half of the final chapter. A kiss from Aria gets her memories back immediately.]]
* AxCrazy: Sakuya isn't too right in the head.
* BetaCouple: While most of the story is devoted to Ichika and Aria, a solid chunk of the middle part is spent on the backstory and romance between Khara and Shadi
* {{Bifauxnen}}: Sakuya has her hair low cut and outwardly doesn't have much of a feminine physique.
* ComedicSociopathy: Aria oftentimes beats her man-servant or her mother. In the former's case, she made it seem as though he was a burglar and admits that she actually wasn't sure.
* DepravedBisexual: Sakuya takes a lot of pleasure in feeding off the blood of maiden girls.
%%** Also counts as UndeadBarefooter.
* DrinkingOnDuty: Sakuya spends most of her time in the nurse's office heavily drinking.
* {{Gayngst}}: Mostly averted, as the vampires don't seem to mind being gay or bi but Shadi's religious upbringing makes her think that her being in love with Khara is wrong. [[spoiler: Her couple hundred years as a bird helps her get over it.]]
* GeniusDitz: Sakuya is actually considered one of the most talented nurses in the vampire world.
* GenkiGirl: Aria and Sakuya respectively show themselves as being especially energetic despite being explicitly stated to be very old.
* GenreMashup: The story is a romantic comedy-drama with action and ecchi scenes, slice-of-life chapters, and horror elements.
* KissOfTheVampire: Ichika finds Aria's bites very pleasurable.
* LesbianVampire: The story centers around the relationship between Ichika and Aria.
* LoveAtFirstSight: Ichika's first thought upon getting a good look at Aria is "SHE'S SUPER CUTE!!" She very quickly falls head over heels for her.
* LoveRedeems: [[spoiler: Ichika killing Aria with love in the penultimate chapter manages to only kill the immortal part of Aria, allowing her to live out a normal lifespan with Ichika.]]
* MayflyDecemberRomance: Ichika is a human girl, Aria is a vampire. However, Ichika accepts her mortality stating that it could not be helped. However, in chapter 15, it is shown that Aria's blood does have the potential to make Ichika immortal as evidenced by ants getting revived through her blood.
* OurVampiresAreDifferent: Aside from personally hating the term, Aria makes it apparent that vampires actually have reflections in mirrors, are okay with crosses, don't transform into bats, and aren't harmed by sunlight. She does admit that some vampires don't like garlic, though. They also can eat normal food, breathe and have a heartbeat (though their base heart rate is slower than a mortal human's), sweat, and can get sick.
* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: Aria and Sakuya are both very old. This is lampshaded when Aria dissuades Ichika from inquiring about her age.
* SweetTooth: Aria loves sweets. Her big appetite for them is one of the many things Ichika notes as being notably different from what you'd expect from a vampire.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Aria and her mother Sakuya form this dynamic.
* UnknownRival: Apparently, there was some animosity between Kara and Aria which the latter doesn't remember. It turns out this wasn't the case: Kara had feelings for her much like Ichika.
* WhoWantsToLiveForever: Aria tries to get Ichika to kill her once every chapter. This eventually drops off as their relationship becomes deeper.
* WomanChild: Despite being inferred as considerably old, Sakuya and Aria both act like undisciplined children. In Aria's case this is apparently because her brain is neurologically still that of an adolescent; as for Sakuya, she eventually reveals that [[spoiler:she was raised in a very strict household and after becoming a vampire made a conscious decision to cast aside the "proper" behaviour that had been forced on her.]]
