* After Grace's intern Jillian starts becoming like Karen and blowing off work, Karen tells Jillian that she should aspire to be like Grace instead, praising her for her determination and diligence. It shows that in spite of Karen's insults towards Grace and her laid-back attitude towards her job, underneath it all she really does genuinely respect Grace. The best part is that Grace overhears the entire thing.
* Will and Nathan helping Jack get over the revelation of by holding a memorial.
* In one episode (that was originally performed live), Will, Grace, and Jack discover that Karen has a massive, expensive birthday party every year packed with rich people and celebrities. They're naturally offended that they've never been invited to these parties, and demand an explanation. Karen finally admits that she actually hates throwing the bash, and only does so because of societal obligation. And as for why she never invited the trio? Because she feared that if she did, they would stop taking her to a cheap, lousy restaurant every year for their own party...which is the only thing that she actually looks forward to on her birthday. D'awww.
* From the original series finale: Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally performing a duet of Nat King Cole's "Unforgettable." While it might be a bit of a BigLippedAlligatorMoment in the episode, seeing as how Jack and Karen were paired off so many times in the show's run, it's a sweet moment.
* In the revival, Karen tags along when Jack teaches drama to a bunch of middle schoolers, and winds up chatting with a girl named Tasha. The two get along in their own, snarky way, and it's eventually revealed that Tasha just had her first period and is feeling anxious about it. Karen, amazingly, turns out to be just the person to handle it, and comforts Tasha by telling her about her first period.
-->Karen: If I survived, so will you.\
Tasha: ...You're not really mean, are you?\
Karen: Mind your business. (she and Tasha smile)
* Also in the revival, Jack meets his grandson Skip, who's gay -- and he finds out his son Elliot is sending the kid to a conversion therapy camp. Jack and Will promptly drop everything to rescue him.
* is a combination of this and a powerful tearjerker. Especially Karen's speech at the end. Karen may be mean, but she truly loves and cares for her maid.
** Especially when Karen says good-bye in Spanish, given that she often pretended not to speak it to annoy Rosario.
* After cheating on her with another woman, both Karen and his mistress Lorainne are stunned to find out that Stan left his ex-wife his entire fortune. The will saying that while he loved Lorraine physically, he loved Karen with all his heart.
* Jack’s wedding in the revival is full of them, but most notably, Will proposing to [=McCoy=].
** Karen giving Jack’s soon-to-be-husband Estefan an “IfYouEverDoAnythingToHurtHim” warning before the wedding.
* In "Homo for the Holidays" after Jack attempts to come out to his mother but cannot, Will tells him about how back when they first met when Will was still in denial about who he was, Jack came out to Will and asked him "Aren't you tired yet?" Will then tells Jack that he's thankful that Jack showed him what he was missing out on. Jack is still hesitant to tell his mother, but then Will tells him "Aren't you tired yet?" and hugs him, giving his friend the strength he needs to come out.
** Then Jack actually comes out to his mother and while she initially sits in stunned silence at first, she then says she just wants Jack to be happy and hugs him.
* One Season One episode sees Karen getting into a fight with Stan. She asks Grace what she does she's feeling upset, and she tells her that she likes to have girls' nights with her friends after man troubles. Karen slowly realizes that she doesn't have any close female friends, so Grace invites her over for a girls' night of their own. They end up having a good time, especially when Karen breaks out the booze.
* In one episode, Grace is preparing to propose to Nathan. Karen helps her out with "a little sparkle"--and proceeds to give her millions of dollars in diamond jewelry as a loan: "You got 250 on each ear, 500 Gs on the wrist, and a cold seven on the chest." Though it's also a funny moment, as Karen threatens Grace ("Lose even one and you're dead"), it also shows just how much she values Grace's friendship. As Grace is admiring the jewelry Karen actually starts to cry with pride (although she quickly denies it when Grace notices).
* A guest star in "Tea And A Total Lack Of Empathy" gets one. Jack and Grace use a what they think is a cheap teapot to get on the their favorite show "Antiques On The Road" and the host Porcelain Paul reveals that the teapot is actually worth $30,000. Jack and Grace fight over the teapot and end up destroying an elderly couple's folding screen. What does Porcelain Paul do? He takes the teapot from Jack and Grace and gives it to the elderly couple.
* In "Sweet and Sour Charity," Jack inadvertently donates Karen's favorite pair of shoes to a clothing drive. Karen heads to the local shelter to find them, and manages to get one shoe back. A homeless woman finds another, and Karen offers her "five" for it. She means hundreds, but then the homeless woman (who doesn't realize what Karen is doing) gratefully comments that five dollars will mean the world to her. Karen is so stunned--and, for a rare moment, ashamed of herself--that she offers the woman hundreds of dollars anyway.
* In the revival when Karen sponsors a section of the southern border wall and gets into a fight with Beverly Leslie over ownership. She ends up in a detention center with an immigrant woman. Karen starts off as xenophobic but when the woman tells her story and reveals that she's from El Salvador (the same country Rosario was from) she learns that her pre-conceived notions about immigration were wrong and gives the woman an expensive bracelet so that the woman can find her family. Then when Karen gets let out and encounters Beverly Leslie (who tells them that they both have to pay for the damages to the wall 50/50 if they want to retain ownership), she renounces her section of the wall, showing that she has grown as a person.
* The revival's series finale gives each of the leads an EarnYourHappyEnding moment: [[spoiler:Jack finally gets to perform on Broadway, Will reunites with [=McCoy=], Karen reconciles with Stan, and Grace has her baby.]]
