A few scenes before, Fantasio told the same, as Spirou walked away, and the latter snarked he did not know they were friends. In addition to the MeaningfulEcho, the scene look even more sweet, given that for the first time in the movie, Spirou cares for [[ItsAllAboutMe someone else than himself]]. |

When she sees him in a death threat, Seccotine [[AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther utterly panics]] and tries to rescue Fantasio as well, despite she answered an infuriated "Certainly not!" to the question if [[HeIsNotMyBoyfriend he was her boyfriend]], the scene before. When Fantasio is finally saved, Seccotine, relieved, throws herself in his arms, admitting she was scared to death. |

[[spoiler: When apparently, Seccotine put one over on them by selling them to the enemy, everything seems lost. But actually, she played FakeDefector in order to do TheInfiltration.]] She kept it a secret due to Fantasio's habit to not believe her. The latter apologized by recognizing he was stupid. Yet, this word tends to sound like [[InsultOfEndearment an affectionate nickname]] in their subsequent conversation. |

Yet, at this moment, he met Fantasio and Seccotine [[ExtremelyShortTimespan less than 48 hours ago]]. |
