The stories of heroes and the legacies they leave behind are the hope to inspire humanity to continue on beyond the tragedies of war, a figure to place faith in to give themselves the strength to endure the suffering. In exchange, this faith humanity places on them is what saves heroes. Within the dark space of regrets where they can only look back on their failings and regrets, watch as humanity falls to itself, this faith is like a helping hand, a light to illuminate their darkness and ask them to continue watching over humanity. |
