Heartwarming moments in Series/Charmed1998.

!!The series:

* Although Prue is cold to Phoebe when she first arrives home, she has a PetTheDog moment where she brings Phoebe extra blankets because hers was always the coldest room in the house.
** FridgeBrilliance - she was mad at Phoebe for thinking she made a move on Roger, but has now reconsidered her thoughts after the breakup and Phoebe insisting nothing happened.
* Prue is stressed out about both leaving her job and finding out that she's a witch, with untold numbers of demons and warlocks coming after her. After Phoebe gets her to trigger her powers by mentioning their father - so she can express her anger - she actually feels much better. When Phoebe says that their powers would grow over time, Prue looks around at the mess she made just with one burst of telekinesis and says "grow to what?" and the two sisters giggle. It's quite nice to see Prue getting excited about her powers.
* Jeremy confronts the sisters at the Manor. Prue sends Piper and Phoebe upstairs to hold him off for as long as she can. She's only known about her powers for a couple of hours, but BigSisterInstinct at its finest.
** And when faced with no other options, they remember their mother's message and chant together "the power of three will set us free", demonstrating the Power of Three for the first time and reaffirming their sisterly bond. Also counts as an Awesome Moment.
* At the very end, despite the scary way their powers all awakened, the three are just excited about what being witches will entail. Prue even smiles as she closes the door with telekinesis.

* Piper's adorable relief that she and her sisters are good after all.

* "Dead Man Dating", despite its BittersweetEnding, actually has a few.
** Piper and Mark fall in love very quickly, bonding over their love of food and other things. He takes her to his apartment, and shows her all his grandfather's recipes. As he won't have any descendants, he wants Piper to have them.
** Although they can't hold each other, due to him being a ghost, Piper holds her hand as close to his face as she can and still makes the motion of stroking his cheek, asking him to pretend he can feel it. The two try to kiss as closely as they can, and Mark wishing they had known each other when he was alive.
** Shortly before he goes into the afterlife, he tells Prue that she should celebrate her birthday after all. She smiles and replies that she will.
** And this simple exchange, hammering it in how in love they really were.
--->Mark: I wish...\
Piper: I know.
** The episode's B-plot is Phoebe getting a job as a hotel psychic to pay for a birthday present for Prue. She hides the type of job for most of the episode, expecting Prue will disapprove, but has to confess when she gets a premonition of a guest dying in a car accident and struggles to warn him about it. Rather than giving the expected lecture, Prue instead just acknowledges that Phoebe had good intentions in getting the job, and now has the chance to do something great - using her powers to save a man's life - and to her, that is a much better birthday present than anything that could be bought. It's very sweet to see Prue proud of her little sister's attempts to be a good person.
* And at the end, Prue gets that surprise birthday party. According to Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano threw one for her around the same time as well.

* Aviva being forgiven, and promising to keep the sisters' secret.

* Everything about the sisters' interactions with Melinda Warren. They quickly bond with their ancestor and are reluctant to send her back to her time where she's due to be executed. Melinda tells them she can't intrude on their time (even if Piper says they're happy to share) and that she can meet her fate with the knowledge of how her family line will play out.

* At the start of the episode, before the anguish surrounding Rex's plan takes hold, it's quite cute to see Prue and Phoebe all giggly about their shopping trip and teasing Piper about her hook-up with Leo. Especially since Phoebe and Prue were at odds at the start of the series.
* Jaime reassures Prue that he knows she wouldn't steal the tiara, and that she's the hardest working person at Buckland's.
* Prue finally catches a break at the end. Not only are Rex and Hannah dealt with for good, Andy uncovers evidence that they faked their identities, and rightly assumes Prue was framed for the tiara theft. She's left free to go, Andy even dismissing the polaroid of the three sisters escaping.
* The sisters also burn the spell to relinquish their powers, and triumphantly declare themselves "witches for life".
** TheReveal on Leo. While initially seeming like a shady character for his use of magic in the attic, it turns out he's actually the Halliwells' GuardianAngel, who healed the Book of Shadows and restored their powers when they thought they'd lost all hope.

* All because of Phoebe's premonition, she's able to reunite a mother and daughter after years apart.

* It's a recurring thing that Prue isn't able to say "I love you" because of the trauma surrounding their mother's death. By the end of the episode, she tells her sisters that she loves them.

* Phoebe proves that she is TheHeart of the Halliwell family, when she gets a premonition of Grams banishing the Woogyman, and fights off possession to remember the spell to banish it.
** Phoebe is also given the honour of being the first Charmed One to add an entry to the Book of Shadows.

* It's a given that this one would be full of these, considering it involves the girls time travelling to meet their mother. Piper and Prue are very overcome the first time they see her walk through the diner, and Phoebe watches from outside smiling.
* Phoebe also gets to meet Patty when they bump into each other, and she just savours everything about her.
* When Patty arrives in the prison to bail the girls out, asking who they are, Phoebe happily says they're her daughters from the future.
** Patty says "you're all so beautiful" as she takes in the three of them, and they all hug before going back to the Manor.
* Penny is equally delighted to meet her grown granddaughters. She briefly chokes up during the second attempt at casting the spell to return them to the future and when they're briefly out of the room tells Patty how wonderful the girls are. The "Nicholas Must Die" spell she writes for them involves a particularly dramatic vanquish that looks a lot like Penny going overboard to protect her granddaughters.
* Prue and Piper bonding with their younger selves, briefly teaching them how to use their powers.

* Brent getting his eyesight restored after the Grimlocks are vanquished.

* Piper thinks Leo has died from the poison, but of course the love she feels over the man she thinks is dead triggers the healing powers for a massive TearDryer.

* In the first timeline, when warning Andy not to come to the house when Rodriguez does, Prue says "you know how much I still care for you". In the second timeline, she says "you know how much I still love you". Andy is silent for a moment before saying "no, I didn't". And they hug.
* Prue meeting Andy in a sort of AfterlifeAntechamber, where he tells her not to stoop to Rodriguez's level because she's a good person, and it's important that she remain so. She vulnerably says "I don't want to lose you" and Andy responds "you won't", right before they share their LastKiss.
* Although Piper feels inferior when meeting her ridiculously successful classmate Joanne, the encounter convinces her to quit working at Quake and pursue her own dreams. And she admits that she owes it all to Joanne.

* It's actually Darryl that Prue has the heart to heart with over Andy's death, and he encourages her to open up, reminding her "I lost him too". It's the first time he ever hugs one of the sisters and all.
* After the bank rejects Piper's loan application, Prue and Phoebe reveal that they took out a second mortage on the Manor to give Piper the $60,000 she needs to buy the club. And it means the three sisters will all become partners as well.
* The mysterious flipping pages from the Book of Shadows are revealed to be caused by none other than the girls' beloved grandmother, still trying to help them from the afterlife. She lets the sisters know how proud of them she is, as the fact that they can see her means their powers are growing.
* Phoebe being a CoolBigSis for Jenny and encouraging her to talk to Dan about her problems, while also letting her know she can always come to them as well.

* Although annoyed that her future self is still living in the Manor and has a failed marriage, as soon as she mentions to Prue that she has a daughter, she immediately starts gushing about how perfect her little girl is.
** And when she shows Prue a photo of little Melinda, Prue starts gushing about her niece.
* Piper proves to Leo that she's from the past with a big ShutUpKiss.
-->Leo: You haven't kissed me like that since...\
Piper: This morning, back in our time remember?
** And once the exposition has been dropped and the plan decided, Piper hangs back to say to Leo "we got married?" and he smiles for the first time in the episode.
* After the heart wrenching sequence of Phoebe burning at the stake while her sisters watch, the spell ends and they find themselves back in the present. Prue and Piper immediately hug Phoebe, relieved that they're all okay again.
** Piper even muses that the future wasn't completely bad, considering her beautiful daughter, and Phoebe does a double take as she finds this out.
* Prue declares that they can still make the good things they saw in the future happen, and also announces that she will not be spending the evening in the office.

* When Piper was first sucked into the painting, she grumbles about how Prue owes her a new pair of shoes. Prue later quips that if they make it out alive "I'll buy you the purse to match". In TheStinger, the two of them buy Phoebe a new pair of shoes and matching purse as thanks for saving the day.

* Darryl turns out to know how to handle the baby, revealing that he's a father himself.

* There's something heartwarming about Prue stopping Maggie from suicide and giving her good luck.

* There's something very sweet about Phoebe getting to kiss the movie character she's had a crush on since childhood. And Billy is a straight-up NiceGuy who falls in love with Phoebe right back, defends her and her sisters from the killers, and is happy to let Prue save the day.
* Billy is also giddy to experience the unpredictability of real life, where he doesn't have a script or plot to follow.
-->Phoebe: Well, you're in my world now. What do you want to do?\
Cue the BigDamnKiss.

* Evan Stone hits it off with Prue, but respects her choice to not date a celebrity. He even willingly sets the Paparazzi on himself to allow her to continue with her life. He then jokes about how she should say he dumped her because he has a bad boy reputation to maintain.
-->Prue: Will do. Thanks for the flowers.\
Evan: You deserve them. Along with the quiet, normal life you seem to want so badly.\
Prue smiles.
* And while the ending is a massive TearJerker, it speaks volumes of Piper's compassion that she feels empathy for Dr Williams after all that happened.

* The episode has Piper initially not liking Leo's proposal idea, fearing what will happen if the Elders find out and disliking that marriage is a quick solution to a problem. The end of the episode however has her confessing to Leo that, after her first demon battle in a month, she was briefly left scared that she wouldn't make it. And that made her realise...
-->Piper: I don't want to die without ever having been married to you. The answer is yes, Leo. I'd love to marry you.
** Both of them break into absolutely wonderful smiles and embrace, with a BigDamnKiss as the Barenaked Ladies perform a brilliant rendition of "Pinch Me".

* Brooke is having her DespairEventHorizon over how the curse happened because she rejected the sorceror. Prue first reassures her "you said yes to a job, not a guy", and she and the other sisters insist that Christopher fell in love with her strength.
* Phoebe gives Piper and Leo her blessing after some wise words from Grams.
* When faced with the chance to marry Leo in secret under cover of the eclipse, Piper puts the innocents first and says they'll help Christopher and Brooke instead.
** And it's none other than a good old TrueLovesKiss to break the curse and vanquish the sorceror.
* Although things turn sour at the end, Piper preparing for the simple wedding with Leo is this. It's just her, her sisters, Leo and Grams in the house with no cake or flowers - but Piper doesn't care.
-->Phoebe: I know it's not exactly how you wanted it.\
Piper: But it's exactly what I wanted.

* It's actually very cute to see that the sisters were so close as children they all drew pictures of the same fairy companion, named Lily. Prue even smiles as she looks at the pictures, as if remembering an old friend, which as it turns out she probably was.
* Piper's speech to Kate that convinces the little girl to return home.
--> "When someone you love goes away it doesn't make any sense and it feels like the whole world is out to get you. But you know what? Your mom and dad didn't split up to hurt you. Things just happen. Things that you may never understand. But you just have to believe that it's for the best. Even if it doesn't always seem that way. You remember how sad you were when your daddy left? (She nods.) Well, that's how sad everybody's gonna be if you don't come home."
* The fairies show their gratitude by leaving bouquets of flowers and headdresses on the Manor's doorstep, as well as returning all the keys they had stolen. Piper even adorably puts one of the crowns on, smiling for the first time after spending the episode depressed.
* Leo being returned to Piper at the end of the episode, the Elders having been convinced both by her speech and maturity in the matter that she can be trusted.

* Phoebe does a test to find out what the first letter of her true love's name is. Cole in disguise watches and when it turns out to be C, Phoebe whispers Cole, and he looks stunned.
* The sisters find out that the baby they helped deliver was none other than Melinda Warren, the start of their family line.

* Prue's empath powers feel Cole's love for Phoebe, confirming that he's not pretending. He is falling in love with her for real. She even describes it as "I haven't felt anything like that since Andy was alive". Especially heartwarming, since she'd been mistrustful of Cole before, but now she becomes a complete ShipperOnDeck and encourages them to be together.
* Father Thomas realises that in the process of helping Prue, he didn't need his powers to help others, and he'll pick up where he left off.

* Although the argument is quite sad, as soon as it's over, Piper and Prue help each other clean up and they seem to know something went wrong - because each knows that their own sister wouldn't be that cruel to them. And later on, Prue apologises for how they took advantage of Piper.
** And even when Phoebe is in tears at Cole's, she's crying because she can't believe the things she said in the argument. She doesn't focus on what the others said to her; she loves her sisters so much she hates the idea that she would ever be that cruel to them.
* Cole has the Charmed Ones neutralised, and Phoebe at his mercy. He produces the athame, ready to kill her...but he can't bring himself to do it. He's fallen in love with her for real. Hell, he even breaks their kiss to tell her that she needs to return home to her sisters to find out what happened.
* The sisters apologising for everything they said under Andras's anger, Prue in particular apologising for taking Piper for granted.
* The Power of Three is restored not with a spell or potion, but by the Charmed Ones standing together. Prue tries to make Piper and Phoebe run to safety, just as in the first episode, but this time they stand together.

* Cole's AnguishedDeclarationOfLove to Phoebe. He admits he's a demon, was sent to infiltrate her and her sisters and "everything else was a lie", but his love for her wasn't.
--> "You've awakened something in me, Phoebe. Something I thought had died long ago. My humanity."
* Cole proves this isn't a trick as, when Krell is about to hit Phoebe with his lightning bolts, he lets out a BigNO and vanquishes Krell with an energy ball. He then says to Phoebe "now do you believe me?" Cue BigDamnKiss.

* It's finally revealed why Victor walked out on the family. It wasn't out of being a deadbeat or not wanting to be involved in his daughters' lives; it was him not wanting them to be subjected to demon battles, and Penny pushed him away because of it. Piper and Phoebe look like they've been waiting for a reason to forgive him and they happily take it.
** Victor also saw Prue get kidnapped into the ice cream truck and went through the portal to rescue her himself. PapaWolf indeed.
* Prue properly forgiving Victor at the end of the episode. She even starts calling him 'dad'.
** And when nearly sucked away by the Nothing, Prue instinctively calls out "Daddy!", and Victor saves her once again.
** Victor also announces that he's relocating to San Francisco, meaning they can see each other more often now.

* After having helped save Phoebe, Bo and everyone in the time loop, Cole prepares to leave for good. Phoebe gets to her feet and says "you're not going anywhere", planting him with the BigDamnKiss.

* The Elders send Patty down for the day. Not as a ghost. Just as the girls' mother. Many TearsOfJoy ensue.
** Piper styles her hair the way she did for her wedding, as she often looked through the wedding album "like a bedtime story".
** Patty subverts MiddleChildSyndrome with...
---> "I always knew you'd be the first to get married. You're TheHeart of this family, Piper."
** She tells Prue that she's SoProudOfYou for protecting the family in her absence.
** She finishes off by saying that she got a premonition the day Phoebe was born - seeing what's happening now, "my daughters as beautiful young women". And then they all hold each other.
* After all the chaos, they're able to have a simple wedding in the house, with windchimes as music, Leo's orbs as lights and everyone who matters present. They exchange vows, and Piper finishes hers off with "Leo, I was born to love you, and I always will". Penny sounds visibly choked up as she's about to say the next part.
** Right before the vows, Victor whispers to Leo that he'd like to be his Best Man, letting go of his prejudices about whitelighters for the sake of his son-in-law.
** As the newlyweds share their BigDamnKiss, Patty and Victor share a smile.
** Cole looks sincerely happy as he watches Leo's orbs fall as fireworks. Given his past as a demon, it's likely he's never even seen a wedding before.

* Piper had spent the whole episode wanting to move out and have her own space, and when moving her stuff, she finds the potion Penny had made three years ago to strip their powers permanently. She realises how close they came to having the Power of Three taken away from them completely, and decides to stay in the Manor. The sisters admit they can't live together forever but...
-->Piper: It feels good that forever isn't today.

* After an entire episode of crying and snarking, and telling Phoebe off for trying to save an innocent, Piper has a PetTheDog moment where she makes tea for Phoebe. Then when they talk about what to do with Prue's things, Piper suggests Phoebe can have her car.
* Paige instinctively goes to the Manor, knowing it's inappropriate and trying to leave once the others see her. But Phoebe brightly goes over and declares "we were just going to look for you". She then formally introduces herself and Piper, to which Paige compliments her on P3. Piper thanks her, even if she's got her walls up after Prue's death. Cue the Power of Three being reconstituted then and there.
* Paige proving that she's a Charmed One at heart when Cole lies dying after the Source stabbed him - Leo can only heal his human half, but Paige suggests that her whitelighter half might substitute, and it does.
* At the very end, Piper and Phoebe bring Paige to the attic to show her "what good magic can do". They conjure up Patty's spirit, who becomes corporeal (possibly because the reformed Power of Three is now even stronger with a half-whitelighter in the trio) and gets to hold her daughter for the first time.
--> Patty: Paige! Welcome home.

* The episode has quite a few for Paige, and the entire episode is a great EstablishingCharacterMoment for her.
** What's her first act when stealing the Book of Shadows and taking it to her work? Casting spells to help her friends out; clearing up Billy's acne, helping Lila with her finances and getting an extension for an adoption application deadline for a little boy that she'd neglected because of her interest in finding out more about magic. She doesn't cast spells for herself; she just wants to help others.
** She offers words of wisdom to Piper about how to grieve Prue. Sure, Piper had lost her mother and grandmother before, but a sister is different (especially one so young). Paige reassures her that it's okay to hate Prue for leaving and, while she'll never be okay that Prue is gone, it will get better.
* Piper had been completely dismissive or aloof towards Paige throughout the episode. The day after their confrontation at Prue's grave Piper comes to Paige's office with a basket of muffins to begin making amends. When Paige's boss approaches the desk and asking who Piper is, she smiles and happily says "I'm her sister".
** And although Piper had been aloof to Paige throughout the episode, Phoebe is nothing but welcoming. She happily tells Paige the Book of Shadows is hers too and, even after Paige took the book out of the house, Phoebe remains gentle with her and tries to help her all the same.

* Although knowing Phoebe only a short amount of time, Paige calls Cole on his TrainingFromHell. And it's that that makes him realise the body swap, understanding the sisterly bond. Phoebe is similarly moved that Paige would care about her well-being that much.
** And at the end, Cole tries to make it up to Phoebe with some more excitement.

* Once the prince saves her from the Shocker Demon, Paige is much more receptive to him, and cutely tells him about how as a child she always wished she could save him from the Evil Enchantress.
* It's quite cute to see Piper teasing Leo about how sexy she finds his swordfighting, and his adorable "really?" chuckle in response.
* And of course Lady Julia breaks the Enchantress's spell on the prince with TrueLovesKiss. Paige is sincerely happy for them, despite her admitted crush on the prince, and says "it's the same in every fairy tale".
* Paige moves in with the other two at the very end of the episode, making her officially part of the family.
** Piper had been treating Prue's room as a shrine beforehand, but she gives her approval of how Paige has made it her own.

* A small one. Alternate reality Paige complains about Piper comparing her to Prue, and Piper responds "I've never said that", sounding confused. It shows that Piper has never considered Paige a ReplacementGoldfish and loves her as her own person.
* After all she went through in the episode, it is very sweet to see Piper excitedly running down the Manor's stairs, delighted to be back in her real home.
** There's also a cute moment where Phoebe puts her arms around Paige.

* When Cole discovers that Emma's fiance was someone he killed as Belthazar, he goes into extreme guilt over his past actions. Phoebe however remains fully supportive, saying "I know who you were" and reassuring him of all the good he's done since then.

* Melody helping Paige rediscover her passion for painting.
* The episode ends with Phoebe and Cole sharing a DanceOfRomance in the 40s Night at P3.

* Paige spends the entirety of her trip to the past feeling guilty about what a "damn disappointment I was". After being suspended from school, she gives her parents a speech about how she'll turn out in the future, and it'll all be because of them.
--> "I'll find myself because of you two. You shaped who I am."
* At the end of the episode, Leo pulls some strings with Clyde to have Paige's parents appear before her.
--> Mrs Matthews: We know who you are, honey. Who you've become.
--> Mr Matthews: We've been with you every step of the way, and we're SoProudOfYou, sweetheart.
** Fridge Heartwarming - Leo saw how broken up Paige was about reliving the accident, and the intense guilt she felt over being a FormerTeenRebel. He went out of his way to arrange this for her. He's not just Piper's husband; he's her family too.
** Cole lies dying after Darryl had to shoot him while he was possessed by Frankie's ghost (who had been trying to marry his also dead girlfriend Lulu possessing Phoebe as their unfinished business). Phoebe had been dodging Cole's proposal out of fear and uncertainty as to what marriage would involve. When Leo heals him...
--->Cole: You never answered the chaplain's question.\
Phoebe: I never answered your question. Ask me again.\
Cole: Will you marry me?\
Phoebe: Yes. I will.
** It's also very sweet to see Paige legitimately happy for Phoebe and Cole's engagement, especially given what happens to them later in the season.

* Paige knows time is running out before the Source inevitably comes for them. She wants to do one last good thing in case she dies soon, and uses the vanishing spell on Carolyn's injuries. The next episode confirms that she did get her son back after all.
* Cole presents Phoebe with a proper engagement ring, and insists that now is actually the perfect time.
--> "This way, no matter what happens, you'll always know that I love you."

* Phoebe revealing her pregnancy briefly causes Cole to overwrite the Source's possession and Squee "I'm gonna be a daddy!"

* Heavy on the bittersweet, but after vanquishing Cole, Phoebe is a sobbing mess on her bed. Piper and Paige wordlessly lie down next to her. Phoebe and Paige have had their differences before but they're forgotten in this moment.

* The very presence of the Angel of Destiny is one big congratulations from the Elders at how the Charmed Ones accomplished their destiny sooner than expected. Let it not be said that the Elders don't throw them a bone every now and then.
* Piper and Phoebe are favouring giving up magic because of how much it's messed with their lives. Paige wants to remain a witch not just because of helping innocents, but reminding that if they weren't witches "then I wouldn't have had sisters".
* At the end of the episode, Phoebe proves the deciding vote in choosing to remain witches, remembering how good it felt to be able to use magic to help an innocent. And although Piper says "majority rules", she makes it a unanimous vote too.
--> "This isn't a choice we have to make. It's who we are."
* The Angel of Destiny makes a sly joke about Piper and Leo's "personal destiny". Phoebe and Paige realise what he means two seconds before Piper and start Squeeing. Piper had previously been told that she might not be able to get pregnant based on all the damage to her body from demon fighting, but here she gets what she's always wanted.

* Phoebe admits her love for Cole and turns back into a human, admitting that she "always will" even if she wants to move on.

** Leo also tells Piper that she has something Patty didn't - him.
** The baby also heals Piper's wound from the womb. She smiles and says "she takes after her father".
* The end of the episode has Piper putting a picture of herself and Patty into the photo album. The unborn baby uses his powers to write 'Grandma and Mommy'. Piper smiles as she closes the book.

* Unborn Wyatt conjures up Grams because Piper needed her guidance.
** Phoebe also immediately stops panicking and coos about seeing her grandmother as soon as she comes into the room.
* Paige spends the episode being a little aloof to Penny and calling her "Mrs Halliwell" rather than "Grams". She eventually admits that it's because she already had a grandmother who she loved very much and wants to respect that.
--> Penny: I understand and I wouldn't dream of trying to replace someone as special to you as that. But isn't it possible that maybe there might be a little room left in your heart for me too? Someday.
--> Paige: Well at least I can see where I get my stubbornness from.

* It's quite cute that Madame Tereza is an Ask Phoebe fan and offers words of comfort along with her advice.
* Lydia is happy to share some of her traditions with the sisters, as she has no children of her own, and Ava has rejected her.
* Ava reconnects with her heritage by the end, and uses the sisters' spell drawing on the power of their ancestors, substituting her own. She feels her mother's presence there, finally getting to see her like Lydia said she would.

* When Cole sends Piper home, he drops her on a couch. A fall from the roof to the ceiling could have seriously hurt a normal pregnant person. Although Piper is obviously not easily hurt, Cole could have done a lot worse to her at that moment, regardless of what's to come in the episode and in future episodes.
* The end reveals that Darryl got his promotion after all.

* Piper giving birth right under the chandeleir, which radiates out the same glow it did when Phoebe first awakened the Charmed powers and when Paige joined them.

** It turns out that the reason Kit disappeared after Prue's death was because she was watching over Paige at her apartment.

* Leo mentions that he's a father before he's a Whitelighter. The camera pans over to Chris, who gives this little half-smile before ducking to hide it. It seems completely out of character until you learn who he really is - and considering later episodes and what we learn about his relationship with Leo, it's a nice moment that shows that it isn't all bad between them.

* Paige becomes entranced to meet Penny as a young woman. While she covers up and says that she's merely a fan, Penny is still flattered and immediately takes Paige under her wing. She may have been a cantankerous nag at times, but she had a heart of gold underneath it all.
* Allen mistakes Paige for his sister Janice, whom she apparently takes after. Paige smiles at finding this out.
* Penny was madly in love with Allen, and he with her. It makes his death all the more tragic.
** When Phoebe and Piper go back to the 60s as well, Phoebe is so overcome with joy at getting to meet her grandfather.
** Penny welcomes the two as well, because they say they're Paige's friends.
* Once all is revealed and the warlock is vanquished, Penny says she's happy to have met her granddaughters.
* And once the demonic slime is vanquished, Penny gives Chris her blessing.

* Phoebe tries to take the fall for what happened at Jason's merger, but he won't let her. While they know their relationship won't work out, he shows respect for what she and her sisters do, and says it's put things in perspective for him. 334

* Piper is worried that Chris hates her for some reason because he's so cold to her. She has her father come and speak to Chris and they eventually learn it's because she died when Chris was a teenager. Piper assures him that she obviously isn't going to be dying while still pregnant which leads to Chris calling her "Mom" for the first time. As a bonus, the episode ends with Piper watching Chris play with baby Wyatt. Throughout the season Wyatt has been suspicious of Chris, raising his Orb shield whenever he got too close, but they're finally starting to bond.
** Also, Chris revealed to Victor that they're so close in the future is because Victor was at Chris' side after Piper died.

* Although Sheila comes to the sisters in tears over Darryl turning his back on them, she says that "you girls are like family to us".

* Even the evil counterparts of Phoebe and Paige love their version of Wyatt just as dearly as their good ones do.
* It turns out that Chris is named after Leo's father.
* Leo gets a moment of peace at the end of the episode when Piper gives birth to Chris, and the two share their connection as parents once again.

* Lady Godiva is pleasantly stunned to find out that she's in the history books.

* After two seasons, we get to see Patty again. And since the sisters have all reverted to childlike states, they Squee "mommy" and glomp her.
** Victor also admits that he had Penny summon Patty just because he wanted to see her again.
** It's also nice to see them be AmicableExes through and through, maturely talking about their separation, and sharing a bittersweet moment where Patty says it would have been nice if they could have raised the girls together.
* Leo apologises to Wyatt for everything he's put his son through, saying that he and the family are "the things that keep me from falling apart". Wyatt makes the night terror disappear and lets Leo pick him up. He then apologises to Piper.
* Penny returns for the Wiccaning and pouts "you're all forgiven...except Leo". Because she has to apologise to him, in her own Tsundere way.

* Arthur goes to see his wife just to make sure she knows he loves her before Death takes him.
* Although Piper is annoyed at having to play Grim Reaper, she soon treats the elderly man with kindness and tries to reassure him with "I'm a little scared too" as she helps him cross over.
* When saving Harriet from Sirk, Paige is very gentle with her, despite the toughness of the situation and makes sure she's calm before orbing her away.
* Phoebe, after several seasons' worth of selfishness and being punished for said selfishness by losing her active powers, earns her redemption and it's beautiful.
** She's the next one on Death's list and her sisters want her to hide in Magic School. She decides not to, because protecting Harriet is more important than her life.
---> "I don't want to die, but I'm not going to sit around and wait for an innocent to die either."
** When Sirk kills Paige by surprise, Phoebe begs Piper to take her soul instead.
** Her selflessness is rewarded with the return of her premonition power, which she uses to save Harriet and win Paige's soul back.
* The episode ends with Piper and Leo relaxing, watching their children playing, Piper taking the time to appreciate all she has.

She then tells him to go home to his parents, who will be thrilled to see him, as they never gave up on him. Leo then softly says "or each other", sharing a look with his wife.
* The book adds in a new title. Originally just 'Crossed, Double Crossed by the Mullen Brothers', it now says "and the Halliwell Sisters" too. Paige says it belongs in the library at Magic School.
* Eddie thanks Paige and Kyle for helping him. Paige waves goodbye softly, and Kyle gently says "stay out of trouble".

* Phoebe and Kyra forming a genuine friendship, making the latter's death at the hands of Zankou all the sadder.
** Even though Phoebe has her guard up, she comes to care for the demon, and does her best to put something in the spell to make sure she gets to feel human feelings. Kyra can sense how Phoebe cares for her and it's clear she likes it. It's nice to see the softer side to the demon who'd originally just been a wisecracking Troll.
* Phoebe's vision of Utopia shows her future daughter for the first time, as well as slightly older versions of Wyatt and Chris. Demons are a complete myth now, and everything looks so peaceful. No wonder Kyra wanted to be part of it.
* Kyra does a cute little dance in the grass outside the hospital.
* Phoebe says her powers can't hold a candle to Kyra's. Kyra responds that it's a sweet thing to say, but it isn't true.
* Despite being troubled at the sight of mental patients, Kyra says she'd rather "the good that's sometimes bad than the bad that's never good".
* Phoebe gifts Kyra with a beautiful pink sundress, and she cutely says "I've never worn anything so...fun". She also hopes to run through Golden Gate Park barefoot and feel the grass for the first time. Damn you Zankou for killing her!
** It's also sweet to hear Piper call her by her name and say "you look great", considering she was ready to blow her up earlier in the episode.

* Kyle meeting his mother in the past, and taking care of her after she faints at the sight of him. He also has some cute interactions with his child self.
* Phoebe is able to help Ronnie see the vision of the Avatar future, and that's enough to convince him and Denise to give the sisters back their powers.

* Phoebe's redemption reaches another height. On realising the cost of Utopia, she decides that it's not worth giving up free will and people being unable to grieve for their loved ones, and implores the Avatars to put the world back. She knows this means the vision of her future daughter might not come true now, but she puts the world's needs above her own.
* The Elders reward Kyle's efforts by making him a whitelighter, and he and Paige part amicably.

* Drake sharing a DanceOfRomance with Phoebe. And later when he turns her into Maid Marian and Paige and Piper into the Merry Men, while the other two are annoyed, Phoebe looks cutely giddy and is very flattered when Drake kisses her hand.

* Mike being freed from the ghosts' influence, and remembering who he is. Darryl is overjoyed.
* Drake busting out a fabulous rendition of "Everything's Kind of Good" for everyone in P3, and the sisters and Leo thoroughly enjoying it.
** Multiple times it cuts to Phoebe in the crowd, and you can see just how in love she is with him.

* When it comes down to it, Leo chooses Piper over Elderhood. And he arrives home to find that Wyatt has healed her from her wounds, all thanks to the advice he left in the Book of Shadows.
* Piper actually ends up referring to Cole as "an old friend".
* Cole's reappearance shows him still fundamentally devoted to her, accepting an existence on a cosmic void and setting up an elaborate plan just to ensure that Phoebe doesn't lose faith in love and can move on from his memory to escape his fate.
** And while Drake may have been on assignment, he wasn't faking. He fell in love with Phoebe for real.

* Darryl tries to comfort Phoebe over Tim's murder, showing concern for her and telling her not to torture herself over it.

* In the eleventh hour, the Magical Community arrives at Magic School to help the sisters without question.
* There's also a cute scene where Piper and Phoebe reminisce about the past seven years, sharing many Continuity Nods.
* Just when you think Zankou has gotten all three Charmed Powers, it turns out the sisters only astral projected to Magic School. When Piper wakes up back at the Manor, she whispers "thank you, Prue".
* It turns out that the sisters only faked their deaths and are AOK. As Darryl leaves the Manor, he sees the disguised Halliwells walk past, Phoebe shoots him a wink and he smiles and laughs, relieved they're safe.
** The front door of the Manor then closes, as is tradition for each finale. But with no one there to close it, it's hinted to be Prue's spirit this time.

** Later at the Bay Mirror, she tells Phoebe (who she thinks is 'Cousin Julie') that she was the daughter she never had. Phoebe is so moved she hugs her.
* Phoebe is surprised to see Dex at her wake, as they only knew each other in passing, and is very moved that he thought as highly of her as she did him.
* Although Paige had few mourners at her urn, it is said that Glen Balland was there.

* Paige shares a nice exchange with a female cop, where she asks what she loves most about her job. The woman smiles and says "catching the bad guys".
* While she's been against going back to demon hunting, Piper tells Leo that she won't ignore innocents being hurt right in front of her.
* Although she's been a cocky showoff, Billie is sincerely ecstatic when she meets the sisters, having read about the Charmed Ones. And the sisters get a new student to help them with their demon fighting duties, allowing for a chance at a normal life without turning their backs on innocents.

* Billie again showing her maturity and compassion in taking care of Maya after they save her from Nance. She may come across as a wiseass, but she has a heart of gold.
** The sisters are also impressed and flattered when Billie reveals how she has indeed been studying the book and their exploits, enough to know how to deal with Nance.

* Paige has to deal with some nightmare guys at the speed dating event, before meeting a NiceGuy who sees how frustrated she is and asks if she wants to just sit this round out. Paige smiles and has a talk with him.
* The sisters and Leo unanimously agree to give up their secret identities, come back into the public and face their destinies again.

* The Halliwells being there for Billie when she reveals the truth about why she's been so afraid - her sister being kidnapped as a child.
* When the Dogan attacks, they trust that Billie will be able to vanquish him, and let her take the potion.

* The B-plot of the episode is Phoebe considering a sperm donor to ensure she gets the little girl from her vision. When she can't decide on the right donor, the woman working there gently suggests that maybe she doesn't really want to find one. Phoebe then realises that she doesn't want a baby just for the sake of having one. She wants the whole experience of falling in love and having the child with the man she loves. And as of the finale, that's exactly what she gets.
* Paige is able to save Sam not by calling to him as a whitelighter, but as a daughter calling for her father.
** Sam admits that the reason he hasn't been around in three years is out of respect for her adoptive father.
** Their final scene together has Paige saying "there's room for both of you in my life".
* JD proves himself a whitelighter in the making by trying to advise Billie to live her life and not waste it chasing her sister the way his father did looking for him.
** Before he goes off to perform his HeroicSacrifice, he gives Billie a passionate kiss, ostensibly to distract her yes but the two obviously made a connection. And he whispers "I was lucky to know you, Billie".
** The very end of the episode sees Billie laying a rose on his grave. As the camera tilts up, we hear a familiar jingling sound, confirming that JD did indeed become a whitelighter.
* While bittersweet, Phoebe comforts Billie after she loses her first innocent.
--> Billie: I should have stopped him.\
Phoebe: If you could have, you would have. He didn't want you to.\
Billie: It's just so unfair. How could he come back after all this time just to die like this?\
Phoebe: We can't save every innocent. We're witches, not gods.\
Billie: It's just...I promised to protect him.\
Phoebe: Promises can be tricky. Sometimes you just have to let these things happen in their own time. Everything happens for a reason.

* There's a cute moment after Billie has been saved, where Piper has an adorable smile on her face as she throws the potion to turn Leo visible again. Especially nice in hindsight of how they'd been having marriage problems earlier in the season.

* While played for comedy, Ramon stops crying as soon as Piper holds him, and Leo coos "talk about a natural". Especially if you remember "Sense & Sense Ability", where she was worrying about not being automatically good at doing the mother thing.
* After getting the cure for the virus, Billie is shocked that the sisters would risk their lives for her. Phoebe happily tells her that they view her as part of the family, and had to save her so that she could find her sister. Billie may have lost Christy but she has three sisters right there in the Manor.
* Phoebe had spent the episode losing faith in her premonitions, worrying that the future she saw with her daughter wouldn't come true. At the end, she receives a premonition of a few years into the future, where she gets to interact with her future self, who reassures her to keep her faith...because years ago, she was in the very position present Phoebe is, also getting reassurance. On returning to the present, Piper asks Phoebe if she's alright. Phoebe smiles and says yes.

* The Angel of Death comes to warn Piper in advance about Leo, and admits that he's feeling bad about the idea that he might have to separate him and Piper, despite his previous appearances reinforcing how death is a natural part of life. They've obviously formed a mutual respect by now.
* The lengths Piper will go to in order to find a way to protect Leo from death shows that she loves her husband more than anything and will not have her family torn apart. She'll fight for him just as much as she does for her children.
* Leo can be frozen and taken away by the Angel of Destiny on the condition that Billie not come after the demon for any more information about Christy. Although understandably reluctant to let go of this one lead, Billie gives up the chance to find her sister if it will save Leo.
** The angel then tells Billie that she will find Christy, alleviating her sadness and letting her know she did the right thing.

* Billie turns her parents back with a tearful apology of how she didn't understand things when she was a child. She'd spent so long believing they didn't care about Christy and just coped by pretending it didn't happen, and then she discovers that they spent so many years searching for her that it was just too painful to mention her. ThePowerOfLove turns them back to normal, and they have a group hug.
* In the last scene, Helen happily tells Billie that she comes from a family of witches, and she's proud that she's carrying on the family tradition, even if it did skip her generation.

* It's admittedly rather cute how the bewitched toys end up making Wyatt's birthday party very fun, and all the kids enjoy it.
* Paige finally learns how to heal after five years. And how? By seeing Henry near death and her love for him giving her the trigger to do it.

* Paige enlists various magical creatures such as the muses, leprechauns and fairies to ensure Henry has the best day possible so she can confess about being a witch to him.
** And at the end, when she does, she braces herself and tells him she will understand if he wants to leave her. He softly says "I'm not afraid" and kisses her.
* Although Piper is very sad about Phoebe moving out, she prepares a special box full of additional magic stuff just in case she'll need it.
** Phoebe assures her that the Manor will always be her home.

* Lo Pan is upgraded to Rooster at the end as a reward for all his good work. While trying to remain stoic, you can see that he's very pleased.

* Simon actually does have one redeeming moment where he tells Phoebe "you are fetching", and she's sincerely flattered.
* A subplot has Piper reuniting with her Season 6 boyfriend Greg, and it's nice that they appear to be AmicableExes considering how things ended between them. In the end, he goes in for a kiss and Piper gently rejects it, acknowledging that maybe they could have been happy together if things were different, but Leo is who she loves and she stays faithful.
** And for what it's worth, Greg only made a move because he assumed Leo left her. Once it's clear that Piper is taken, he bows out gracefully.
* There's a moment between Piper and Billie that's very sweet in light of how things will go between them later after Christy has taken.
--> Piper: We're gonna get Christy back.
--> Billie: And Leo too.
* Henry defeats Simon not by use of magic or winning a duel, but by listing all these little details about her that only someone who loves and adores her would know and care about.
--> Henry: You just want some trophy witch so you can have a nice power couple. I care about Paige. I love her.
--> Paige: And I love him.
** And he later asks her to orb up to the Golden Gate Bridge with him so he can propose. Paige says yes without a second thought.
* Billie and Christy have a cute moment at the end of the episode where they look through the family photo album, and Christy can remember certain details about Billie's childhood. HarsherInHindsight with her being revealed as a villain in the next episode, but you get a sense of what she could have been had the Triad not brainwashed her.

* Paige marrying Henry. Unlike the previous times a Charmed One tried to get married, there are no magical shenanigans here. Just a young woman marrying the man she loves, with her sisters happily as bridesmaids.
** While walking down the aisle, Phoebe gets a little sad that Leo isn't there. Piper happily says he's with them in spirit.
** Phoebe sees Coop sitting there and it seems as though there's a spark between them. Little does she know, she'll be having her own wedding with him sooner or later.
** Before the ceremony, Henry sees Wyatt trying to lick some of the cake's icing. He has a taste too, acting like a very doting uncle to his soon-to-be nephew.
** We also see Billie carrying Chris down the aisle, acting as an HonoraryAunt to him.
** Wyatt acts as ring bearer and Piper can be seen laughing adorably as he hands them over.

* Although Christy reunites with her parents just to stop Billie helping Piper, she actually seems to bond with them genuinely. Candor even says her love for her parents could potentially sway her away from evil.
* Coop shows Phoebe her past loves, and helps remind her of the good parts of love besides heartbreak, and she's also shown the LoveAtFirstSight meetings for the likes of Jason, Leslie and Cole, and some of the sweeter moments between herself, Drake, Jason and everyone. Thanks to Coop, she's open to falling in love again.
* Piper is unsure of what to do about the Noxon Demons, or putting the students in harms way. Wyatt softly says "let them try" to help and that "daddy would". Piper smiles at her son's wisdom. And when she carries him downstairs, the other two are cutely playing with baby Chris.

* We see a rare moment of big sister instinct from Christy, where she's encouraging Billie to keep at school and graduate to make their parents proud.
* Michael's AnguishedDeclarationOfLove we see is really Coop's true feelings. He's fallen in love with Phoebe himself.

* Phoebe will not give up on Billie and does her best to reach out to her, even preventing Piper from using her powers on her and Christy.
* Billie likewise defends the sisters when Christy tries to accuse them of being selfish. And even after the dream spell, she says that it isn't wrong for them to "want what they want".
* Paige's charge in this episode is a troubled girl called Mikelle who is very reminiscent of Paige herself at a younger age. Paige tells her she's better than she thinks she is and is destined for greatness. Although Mikelle doesn't believe it, she thanks Paige for her kind words anyway.
** When Mikelle runs out of the house, Billie's first instinct is to help her in case she's in trouble. Of course Christy stops her, but her heart was in the right place.
** Paige gives up on her inner desire for enlightenment so she can rescue Mikelle instead.
* Phoebe is shown to be receptive to Coop as well, and feels the same way. We already see an understanding forming between them that tells us these two are meant to be.
* Piper's dream is of a house full of grandchildren, and growing old together with Leo. An elderly version of him appears, just so she can hold him.
* Paige lies dying from darklighter poison, with no one around to heal her. Cue Mikelle becoming a whitelighter, healing Paige and thanking her for guiding her to this point.

* Everyone earning their happy ending for a perfect finale to the series.
** We see the show subverting MiddleChildSyndrome with a flashback to Piper's childhood, where Penny is giving her a special talk about how she really is a special girl who will do great things in life.
** Patty being overjoyed to meet Victor in the future, noting that he's even more handsome, and getting meet her own grandsons.
** Wyatt is also in awe of Penny and asks if she's "THE Grams", and the lady looks quite pleased at having such a reputation among her great-grandchildren.
** Piper and Leo finally being reunited, and their whole family clapping, before hugging goodbye. Penny almost doesn't want to have her memories erased because it was such a thrill to meet her future relatives.
** Phoebe getting not only the little girl from her vision quest, but two other daughters she's very devoted to.
** And it's a glimmer of hope that we see Billie acting as babysitter for the girls when Phoebe and Coop go out, showing that Phoebe forgave her in the future.
** An older Wyatt and Chris being sent off to school, joined by their younger sister. Even with all the changes to the timeline, Melinda was born, just later than anyone was expecting.
** The final scene shows the Manor filled with grandchildren, and Piper as a peaceful doting grandmother, now able to rest after craving her normal life for so long.
** And the episode actually ends with the traditional manor door close, which doubles as TheReveal that one of the grandchildren has Prue's telekinetic powers. The implication is that she is Prue reincarnated, but in any event, it's revealed on the Charmed Wiki that, as many fans speculated, she is indeed named Prudence. So one way or another, Prue did get to be part of the finale after all.
