* In part one of the ''Measured Response: Bill Nye Versus Pseudoscience'' duology, Hbomb presents the video in a suit, with a bowtie made by his mum, which he goes out of his way to mention and show gratitude for. It's very cute.
-->'''Hbomb:''' I wore this to a wedding! I was going to put a joke here, but I just like this bowtie, it's really nice. Thanks mum.
* During his ''VideoGame/DonkeyKong64'' 101% stream, he took donations for the Mermaids charity organization. He expected to raise $15,000 at most. As of hour 28, he raised $78,000. His final total was $347,000 after 57 hours. Highlights include:
** At around the 27 hour mark, he realizes how much money he has raised, and nearly breaking into tears.
** Harry's own personal favourite moment in the stream, as described during his talk at XOXO Conference 2019, was when a trans couple mentioned in the chat that one of them was raising money for a new wheelchair, and their fundraising goal was surpassed and multiplied in minutes, causing them to openly cry with joy over the chat.
* During [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lS1k88LzjkQ his talk at XOXO Festival 2019]] about the ''VideoGame/DonkeyKong64'' livestream, he claims that he learnt something about the goodness of humanity, and how there IS a difference between doing something bad to someone you don't like, and doing something good for the people you love. He thanks his friends for helping him to retroactively make the right choice.
-->'''Hbomb:''' The list of people who don't understand these issues, or don't care, or who think these people don't exist, is unfortunately quite long right now. But the list of people who believe and actually want to make things better is an awful lot longer.
* In "''Series/{{Sherlock}}'' Is Garbage, And Here's Why", Harry discusses the show's [[TakeThatAudience unflattering portrayal of its own fanbase]] as a club of weird conspiracy theorists (and at least one YaoiFangirl, who is ridiculed even by the other members of the club) in the episode "[[Recap/SherlockS03E01TheEmptyHearse The Empty Hearse]]". He points out that while a lot of fan theories, including the "secret good fourth episode," were indeed stupid and unrealistic, he can't really blame fans for coming up with them because the show frequently expects its audience to take equally ridiculous plot developments at face value and the showrunners are very skilled at keeping even cynical viewers like Harry on the hook and believing there will be a payoff soon and the show will finally improve. He also argues that the fans who come up with these elaborate theories to fill the gaps in the plot are the truest fans of ''Sherlock'' and harshly criticizes Creator/StevenMoffat for his apparent contempt for them.
* In the comments under ''Halcyon Dreams'', Rick Dyer's son Cory revealed that his father watched Hbomb's video and loved it. Hbomb pinned the comment. It's nice to think that Rick has seen the video and knows that he hasn't been completely forgotten.
* For all the problems he has with ''RWBY,'' Hbomb makes sure to clarify that his criticisms are not meant to make anyone think less of the show or downplay the effort that went into creating it, especially since there's still a lot to like about it and creative endeavors are always challenging. It also comes through a lot in his review that he has no small amount of respect for Creator/MontyOum as both a creator and person who, even if it started rough, was just happy to be creating something that people latched on to.
** In the video's intro, he depicts a flag with Monty's signature/logograph on it, with the text "DEDICATED TO MONTY OUM". At the video's end, he shows the flag again, with the caption "I never got the chance to meet you, but your work humbles me." While Hbomb does criticise Monty's patchy storytelling somewhat, he makes it very clear that he does it out of love and respect for a man who died far, far too young.
** Additionally, rather than do what a lot of ''RWBY'' fans are guilty of and attributing all the good animation from the first two Volumes to Monty, Hbomb actually makes the effort to identify who made certain shots that he loved and gives credit where due to the respective animators.
* His "Vaccines" video ends with the optimistic conclusion that, despite how hopeless and beset by intractable stupidity the world sometimes seems, seeking out and revealing the truth is nevertheless worth it because many people are actually surprisingly willing to change their minds and accept the truth when it is placed before them. To illustrate, he points out that MMR vaccinations quickly returned to pre-controversy levels once Andrew Wakefield had been exposed and punished, and while COVID vaccinations started off slow in many nations before gradually increasing as people slowly came to trust them, in Britain they have been consistently high, likely because people remember and have learned from the whole mess around the vaccine controversy he has been unpacking.
* In the “ROBLOX_OOF.mp3” video, when his producer Kat comes up, he makes sure to take a minute to express his admiration for her. It’s a small moment, but very sweet nonetheless.
--> '''Hbomb:''' She is so cool, I love her.
* In "Plagarism and You(Tube)", after an hour plus of going off on James Somerton (a gay video essayist who routinely steals from smaller [=YouTubers=]), Hbomb highlights LGBTQ [=YouTubers=] he feels should get the recognition James got, and pledges to donate the video's proceeds to the specific creators James ripped off. Harris does this while giving a HypocrisyNod, saying that it would be pretty rich of him to complain about LGBT [=YouTubers=] being denied money while he himself profited from a video discussing it. So, to make sure he had "no financial incentive" here, Harris vowed to do everything in his power to make sure that the people who deserved it got the money they were owed.
** Even whilst taking him to task for plagiarism, Harris takes a moment to remind his audience that harassment is ''never'' justified and he will not tolerate it, [[EveryoneHasStandards even if it's directed at someone as scummy as James]].
--->'''Harris:''' Any harassment or threats Somerton may have received are unconscionable and wrong. I want to clarify right now that if ''anyone'' harasses Somerton on my behalf, they are ''worse'' than him and will not see the light of Heaven.
** Overlapping with TearJerker, particular mention goes to the section where he talks about the video James continually uploads "Codebreakers/Queering Cinema/Whatever it'll be called next time", he takes a moment to attack a particular plagiarization, where he has an eloquent and poignant section about how queer people keep going missing from history, their accomplishments forgotten as their work is stolen and attributed to someone else, ''which was itself stolen from a gay author, the source having gone missing from history as James attributes it to himself''; the only reason Harris knew this was because he personally remembered the real source, who he gives full credit to. Harris speaks with a [[TranquilFury restrained yet very clear sadness and anger]] as [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech he highlights the]] ''[[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech blatant hypocrisy and terrible selfishness]]'' [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech of not only erasing queer people's work to pass it as his own, but having the audacity to steal]] ''[[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech this message]]'' [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech in particular and claim it as his own without the slightest shred of shame]].
--->'''Harris:''' Good writing about queer living is hard to find, and easy to lose. And in obscurity, it becomes even easier to ''pretend it was yours. None'' of the money he makes will go to the people who ''wrote'' the great lines his viewers enjoyed. They get to ''rot'' in the very obscurity he ''pretends'' to criticize. [[ItsAllAboutMe While James takes all the oxygen for]] ''[[ItsAllAboutMe himself]]'', [[ItsAllAboutMe to promote]] ''[[ItsAllAboutMe only himself]]'', [[ItsAllAboutMe and position]] ''[[ItsAllAboutMe himself]]'' [[ItsAllAboutMe as a crusader for real representation]]. While giving a speech ''he stole'' about how gay people keep going missing from the story. ''[[ArmorPiercingQuestion I wonder how]]'' '''''[[ArmorPiercingQuestion that]]''''' ''[[ArmorPiercingQuestion happened.]]''
** Harris brings up [[WebVideo/TheSpoonyExperiment Spoony]] as one of the guys who broke the mold and did his own thing amongst the sea of AVGN clones. Spoony's reputation over the last ten years or so has not been the most sterling and he's been mocked by most who discuss him, so to see Harris not only give him credit for inspiring others but only having positive things to say about the guy was very nice to see.
** In the video's conclusion, Hbomb discusses what he thinks fuels plagiarism; the desire to be someone. When people see successful people online, they see someone who looks like they know who they are, using Creator/JamesRolfe as WebVideo/TheAngryVideoGameNerd as an example. Hbomb expresses his fears about people "who will never get the chance to become who they are because they're too busy trying to be like someone else who at best has it figured out for themselves just a little bit."
---> '''Hbomb:''' Basically, no one knows how to live your life. And you might not, either. But the only person who's gonna figure it out is you. And you won't find that by trying to be the next that person. You can only be the first of whoever it is that you are.
** Hbomb expressing his joy at the idea of being a creative inspiration to others.
---> '''Hbomb:''' People take inspiration from my work sometimes, and that is very cool. It's the ultimate flattery and let's be honest, the closest I'll ever come to having children. If you find any happiness or success making something creatively, and you think I helped... Thank you.
** In the comments, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDp3cB5fHXQ&lc=Ugze8Y5LFAlE-_cY0bl4AaABAg Sean Griffin himself made an appearance]], thanking Hbomb, and asking that his share of the ad revenue go to other creators, as he is doing fine financially and would rather others with less luck get the support instead.
