* The characters SpeakingSimlish in the cutscenes of Guitar Hero III, especially here.
* World Tour: Music/JimiHendrix coming out and telling the band guitarist to get off the stage. The guitarist's reaction to Hendrix appearing before him is priceless.
* Second Game: The Spinal Tap reference where the drummer blows up after the end of Tonight, I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight (Depending on what console you're playing on in career mode; Specifically the Platform/PS2 or the Platform/XBox360 UpdatedRerelease).
* Guitar Hero 5 doesn't assign gender roles to its lead singers for career mode, meaning that male singer character can sing a song with a female singer and vice-versa... leading to some rather hilarious moments like Axel Steel, with his buff arms and general manly-man appearance singing Music/NoDoubt's Ex-Girlfriend. Sadly, this was fixed in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.
** Also, check out Music/CarlosSantana singing "Low" by Music/FloRida.
* Fail 'Rag Doll' on Guitar Hero: Music/Aerosmith and Joe Perry will kick his slide guitar over.
* Starting Through the Fire and Flames in the third game on expert replaces the usual loading screen message with "Good Luck"
* Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. Bohemian Rhapsody. That is all.
* Four sections in Warriors of Rocks "Fury of the Storm" are called "OMGWTFBBQ?!!?" A, B, C, and D.
* One more from the [=WoR=] setlist: Wish very prominently has "BAD LUCK, FIST FUCK" as part of its lyrics. Standard protocol for censorship is to simply remove the offending word from the song entirely. Here, the word's excision means the static-y sound effect under it takes prominence - making it seem like the word was outright bleeped out.
* The LoadingScreen message for "Trogdor" in Guitar Hero 2 is written in typical WebAnimation/HomestarRunner fashion.
-->For squeadlies, mash on the trembalo. For meadlies, tone up on your chord surpassers. Oh, and I'm awesome.
* Guitar Hero 2 has this CreditsGag:
-->No pitchers were harmed in the making of this game. Except for one. Joel Zumaya. He had it coming.Explaining: Zumaya allegedly hurt his wrist with the first game and, for that, he was left out of the Tigers team that played on ALCS '06. While Zumaya says that's not true, he allows people to think it is, preferring not to tell his own side of the story.
* The fact that, in GH Metallica, your band is called (at least in the cutscenes) "Metallica Jr." It's either the least creative name one could give a tribute band, or the most creative one, depending on how you look at it. Either way, it's so ridiculous it's hilarious.
* Also from Metallica, Lars Ulrich trying and failing miserably to play "The Shortest Straw" like he did in ...And Justice for All. By the end of it, he's feeling completely defeated.
-->(whimpering) The day Guitar Hero broke Lars... (Crew: Lars, what just happened?) I'm sorry... I'm sorry for all the bad things I've done in my life.
