1	* Episode 1 "The Legendary Hero", poor Shugo's encounter with an overtly "friendly" [[{{Gonk}} male player]] when he first enters The World.
2	** After that, Shugo runs screaming from the man in terror. Straight into the [[MarshmallowHell chest]] of a female player. Who briefly teases him for his "rudeness", before idly brushing him off and walking away.
3	** While fishing, Sanjuro finds a helmet that looks suspiciously like it belonged to a member of the [[Anime/DotHackSign Crimson Knights]]. He immediately throws the helm away dismissively.
4	** Shugo's first attempt at attacking a monster. Which involves him running at the creature while yelling and flailing his arms about. [[EpicFail It ends about as well as could be expected]].
5	* In episode 2 "Kite's Bracelet", Rena and Shugo attend an event. They start the event, but an irregular monster appears and this time the 'Data Drain' doesn't work right. Mireille can't cast spells, Balmung is paralyzed and Rena... [[BrotherSisterIncest starts acting strange around Shugo...]]

21	* Episode 4 "Tanabata Night", begins with Shugo being trained by Sanjuro. Which mostly involves Shugo getting beat up by monsters, repeatedly.
22	** The introduction of the pompous [[ButtMonkey Komiyan III]], an old classmate of Shugo and Rena.
23	** Komiyan's wish for the Tanabata event? A pair of, Rena's socks... Needless to say, [[BigBrotherInstinct Shugo]] was not amused.
24	** When Shugo successfully manages to hit the corrupted monster with Data Drain. Komiyan is accidentally hit by the attack as well, both he and the monster are then [[ForcedTransformation transformed into a two harmless little fish]].
25	* Episode 9 "Footsteps of Collapse". Shugo and Mireille realize with so many Knights patrolling the town. It will be next to impossible for him to move around safely. So Mireille goes digging into her stash of rare items, pulling out a frog costume and forces poor Shugo into it. Of course despite the disguise, the Knights recognize him anyway.
26	** Later, the frog costume is given to Komiyan III, so Shugo and the others can use him as a decoy. It doesn't take long for the Cobalt Knights spot him, and mistake him for Shugo. Oh, and who came up with this particular plan? [[BewareTheNiceOnes Hotaru]], by giving the costume to Komiyan. Claiming it was a gift from Rena.
