| 1 | * The movie builds very well to Florence's first singing lesson. Even if you know what's coming, it's still hysterically funny, made even funnier with Cosme's deer-in-headlights face. Hell, Cosme bursts into hysterical giggles as soon as he's in the elevator. |
| 2 | ** Everyone else in the elevator, not knowing why he's laughing, simply see a weird little giggling guy. The last bit with the elevator operator (who looks like Boris Karloff or a stone golem) glaring at him after he steps off the elevator is also a comedic touch. |
