4	* For as much crap we all like to give this series, I do have to give one very spoilerific kudos. The twist that Yui was adopted actually makes sense (albeit very cliched) considering how her father was a Catholic priest, who in real life '''cannot''' marry unlike [[NunsAreMikos in other anime]] thanks to the celibacy vow. Especially notice how her mother is never mentioned '''at all''', not even for a cliched "my mom's dead!" backstory. Sure in the process we have more [[UsefulNotes/OedipusComplex Oedipal symbolism]] than ''Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion'' and there are still bits of AnimeCatholicism ("Blood of Eve", anyone?), but still.
5	** Actually speaking of ''Evangelion''....they're both named Yui. I wonder if that was an intentional ShoutOut or not?...Or they could be ripping off Evangelion, that works too.
6	* Going with the game routes, the Sakamaki brothers have one of the SevenDeadlySins Motif going around. Given their backstories to [[FreudianExcuse how they act the way they are]].

15	* When I read about Karlheinz, I've discovered that he could rewind time back whenever he didn't the outcome of something. This mean that Yui and the boys are doom to repeat the events of the story. This also shows how powerful Karl is. What's even scary is that Yui is truly unable to escape from her abusers. Even if she ever does manages to leave, Karl could just rewind everything back to where she fails.
16	* In ''Dark Fate'', Cordelia reveals that she and Karl first meet at a ball when she was young. It's never stated how (by human standards) young was Cordelia when she met her husband. Karl also revealed that he wanted to marry her even before she was born due to the fact that she was a First Blood with his whole plan clearly sounds like he was grooming her to be his wife.
