13	Taking place after ''[[Film/KamenRiderZeroOneRealXTime REAL×TIME]]'', ZAIA Enterprise American branch CEO Leon Arkland kidnaps Jin from [=MetsubouJinrai.net=]. In the chaos of losing him, the group encounters a large amount of new [=HumaGear=] models called "Solds," which are later revealed to also be a new generation of Magia. Leon intends to mass-produce these Solds and sell them worldwide, stirring up some WarForFunAndProfit. Naturally, Jin isn't having any of this, and resolves to free them together with his allies.

15	Yet still, things are not as they seem. Something has clearly happened to Jin while he was in captivity, and Leon plans to unleash a new threat to humanity in a most surprising fashion...

However, Japan's department of defense was never planning on using the Solds to stop whatever came out of the incident anyways, so half of his plans died with him]].
21	* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: With a heavy dose of EvilIsNotAToy and GoneHorriblyRight. Lyon's plan was creating a "villain" that will pose a threat to humanity once more in the form of Kamen Rider [=MetsubouJinrai=] and used that as an excuse to mass-produce Sold [=HumaGears=] for the sake of "unwavering justice" and [[WarForFunAndProfit gaining total dominance within the military market]]. Sure enough, it backfired spectacularly on him as not only is said "villain" ''too much'' for him to handle and [[spoiler: got him killed in the process]] but [[spoiler:will also be readily handled without him or the Solds, both doomed to be forgotten as failures]].
22	* BittersweetEnding: [[spoiler:Lyon is stopped and the Solds liberated. However, [=MetsubouJinrai.net=] is trapped inside the Massbrain network and their original bodies destroyed, being continuously tortured to power the Rider of the same name, and it plans to destroy everything related to them and ZAIA. Yet still, A.I.M.S., no longer being pressured by Lyon, will be ready to free them]].
23	* TheChainsOfCommanding: At the end of the film, it's revealed that [[spoiler:Japan's department of defense never wanted to use the Solds, but were essentially forced to do so by Lyon, who was using their relationship with the USA as leverage. With him out of the picture and the Solds freed, they're free to consult A.I.M.S. once more]].
24	* CreateYourOwnVillain: The creation of Kamen Rider [=MetsubouJinrai=] turns out to be a disaster as [[spoiler:rather than being a MindHive acting in unison, the Rider is instead an unrecognizable HiveMind that decides to kill its creators/users and completely and utterly obliterate both sides of the movie's conflict [[KnightTemplar no matter the cost]]]].
25	* DemotedToExtra: Gai only has two minutes of screentime in the film, asking Lyon why he had to steal the Thousandriver to make Kamen Rider Zaia. Before he can make any meaningful remarks towards him, though, [=Sold20=] chokes Gai out long enough for Lyon to make his leave.
26	* DeusExitMachina: It's convenient that Aruto is working on a new satellite the moment Lyon moves in.
27	* DualMeaningChorus: "S.O.S." in both the title and chorus (which serves as the page quote) can refer to both Jin being kidnapped by ZAIA to kickstart the film's plot [[spoiler:and [=MetsubouJinrai=] imprisoning its users within itself at the film's end]].
28	* EngineeredHeroics: Lyon's plan in a nutshell. [[spoiler: Expecting the Mass Brain Key to shackle Kamen Rider Metsubojinrai to his command, he planned to have it lose to a troupe of his Solds so the government will approve of using them in actual wars]]. Unfortunately for him, the Key was too effective and instead of creating a villain he could control, he [[spoiler: made a MechanicalAbomination that undergoes complete SanitySlippage and [[HoistByHisOwnPetard kills him with no effort]]]].
29	* FauxAffablyEvil: Compared to the other villains of ''Zero-One,'' Lyon is an upbeat socialite even as he openly taunts and mocks his opponents. This is the same man that [[spoiler: demolishes The Ark's MouthOfSauron and creates a scarier MechanicalAbomination in less than twenty minutes of real time]].
30	* ForcedIntoEvil: The government is only backing the Sold project because [[spoiler: they're helpless against ZAIA's connection overseas]].

35	* MakeWayForTheNewVillains: As is backing Lyon's Sold project in the hopes it damages Humanity. Lyon [[spoiler: calls The Ark (and by extension her) an "obsolete evil" and abruptly destroys her body]].
36	* LyricalDissonance: "S.O.S." is an upbeat and hopeful-sounding song, as is tradition with many Rider V-Cinemas ending themes. [[spoiler:It's really about [=MetsubouJinrai=].net crying out for help after being held hostage and presumed dead in the creation of Kamen Rider [=MetsubouJinrai=]]].
37	* PutOnABus: To remove Aruto from the movie's narrative, he's sent into space with Subaru to install a replacement satellite for Zea shortly before the story begins.
38	* ShooOutTheClowns: The more comical characters Aruto, Is and Gai have little to no screen time, the equally comical Fuwa is all business this time around and Fukuzoe and Sanzo (the show's comic relief duo) don't appear in the movie. Meanwhile despite being rather upbeat in comparison Lyon Arkland's shenanigans are not PlayedForLaughs. The tone of the movie is much more somber as a result.
39	* WhamLine: After [=MetsubouJinrai=] [[spoiler:[[MurderIsTheBestSolution kills Lyon]]]] despite protests from Fuwa, the latter angrily tries to reason with it. It doesn't seem to hear him, and simply says one line that immediately reveals its true agenda, much to Fuwa's shock:
