Super Sentai Vs Power Rangers, full title Super Sentai vs Power Rangers: The Epic Crossover is a MassiveMultiplayerCrossover fic made by Sean Akizuki, a well-known blogger amongst the Sentai circle. It is basically a MassiveMultiplayerCrossover of Franchise/SuperSentai and Franchise/PowerRangers whereas the Super Sentai, now united to an older version of the Jetman must fight against a united evil forces led by Radiguet and several villains of Super Sentai that has been made to bow at him for some... reason as they try to wreak havoc against past Sentai teams...

This fanfic is quite notorious in a way that the author makes several changes in the continuity to fit what he sees to be 'his better way to execute things'. For instance, Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger in the fic is considered to be an AlternateUniverse, having defeated the Zangyack, Gai Yuuki is alive and has some explanation on how he ended up back in the living world (and also having married Ako Hayasaka to boot!), and some 'changes' have been made for the background of Series/PowerRangersSamurai characters due to the author not really liking how Saban takes the show. Also, the author is known to have a deep dislike towards Power Rangers series under Bruce Kalish (SPD, Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive (bolded for a reason), and Jungle Fury) to the point of sometimes making the fic more of a HateFic at times. With a large cast, one can know that this can be a bit troublesome and confusing to read, but still readable, if you can stomach the hate he got...

The fic was deleted from Fanfiction.net. However, it is saved via Internet Archive's Wayback Machine and can be read hereThe final chapter, "Voodoo on Zyu", can be read here.. A read through by Werezilla exists, although there is a strong disparity between the read-through and the one on the website. The read-through, however, is blocked by TOEI due to it using footage from shows, though only a few parts remain accessible to everyone . Segments of the fanfic, along with a summarizing/commentary of the events can also be accessed through [=ArcadiaRika's=] liveblog.

Also compare with a similar fic, FanFic/SuperSentaiVsSuperSentai, which kinda works in a smaller scale. Essentially, this fanfic is to Tokusatsu what Fanfic/MyImmortal and Webcomic/HowIBecameYours are to Franchise/HarryPotter and WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender. For a more subtle comparison, see Fanfic/MyBravePonyStarfleetMagic.

----
!Tropes associated to Super Sentai vs Power Rangers (at least the fair ones...)
* AbortedArc: Operation Suicide. In which Commander Ichijou ordered the Operation Overdrive Rangers in a suicide mission which had them brutally killed when in reality, it's just to project how the author hates Operation Overdrive and Bruce Kalish. This got so many backlash to even those who dislike OO that the author had to remove the episode.
** Ranger Key arc, which completely downplays the existence of Gokaigers, in which the team visits the past to make the PR team able to transform into Pre-Jetman teams by holding their respective Ranger Keys and shouting their ByThePowerOfGrayskull quotes... also deleted.
** A more direct example would be the first chapter hinting at Ryu and Kaori's daughter Mikiko/Mikoko possibly having the same powers as her parents. She remains in the background for the whole fic.
* ActionGirl: Being Super Sentai and Power Rangers, almost every major female ranger is considered this. Same goes for those in the United Alliance of Evil.
* AdaptationInducedPlotHole: With the author stealing other plots and not properly bothering to change them up to stand on their own, this crops up a lot.
** In Goseiger vs Shinkenger, Buredoran turns ShinkenRed evil as part of his master plan to destroy the Guardian Realm. In the story, he does this to Red Mask for no apparent reason.
** In the first of three chapters lifted from [=ChrisX=], the villain's scheme is exposed by photos taken by Jasmine, who has never before or since at any point shown any interest in photography. In the original source, the one taking photos was Chisato, who has photography as an established hobby. The only real reason for the change is the author's refusal to feature any teams other than Jetman prior to Gaoranger.
* AdaptationalJerkass: The United Super Sentai and Power Rangers alliance doesn't really become this until the Detention Center kicks in, where they subject their own heroes into ColdBloodedTorture through beating rock piles and forced consumption of awful cooking. Needless to say, it's a far cry from their mostly heroic activities.
* AdaptationalVillainy: Kaze no Shizuka didn't exactly commit to a HeelFaceTurn by the end of her series, though she's far less of a threat and more of a neutral force (if her appearance amongst the villains in Gokaiger VS Gavan suggests). Here, for some reason, she's a servant to the United Alliance of Evil forces and is more than willing to work for them.
* AdaptationalWimp:
** Flurious. Big Time. He's the one who outlasts all the other factions in his home series, serving as the FinalBoss. Aside from that, he's also a decent strategist. Here though, he's simply reduced to being such a loser amongst the villains for no reason, acting so much like a goofball which is a far cry from his canonical iteration.
** To an extent, the existing Power Rangers villains. Most notable are Trakeena and Mesogog, who, similar to Flurious, end up as standard villain generals who can't really do their job in this story despite their canonical depictions demonstrating how much of a threat they can be.
* AdaptedOut:
** Subverted with the Zone Empire. When the prologue lists off the various Super Sentai villain factions, they're oddly left out, probably due to the author's rather ignorant typing. They do, however, make a proper appearance in the Fiveman arc.
** None of the Disney Era Power Rangers appear [[spoiler:except for the Ninja Storm team]]. This was double subverted by the Overdrive team appearing in the now-deleted Operation Suicide arc.
** The Mega Mode for the Samurai Rangers isn't featured in any way or form throughout their appearances in the fic.
* ArtisticLicenseLinguistics: During the fight against the [[spoiler:corrupted Samurai Rangers]], the Shinkengers utilize a Mojikara for "Freedom", which utilizes the complete word. The actual Japanese word is jiyuu, written with two kanji自由, when all Mojikara is written with just one.
* AuthorAppeal:
** Shipping, hot girls, Cole Evans, and bashing hated characters.
** Any time a Sentai would be pointed out for his appeal, it's Jetman. It's why Radiguet and Tranza serve as the key main villains, but that would also apply to other characters as well, most notably Shizuka acting more like Jetmans Maria rather than being herself.
* AuthorAvatar: According to Werezilla, Takeru and Takeru are this, given that the author seems to hold Mako and Momoko in high regard because of their actresses.
** In a particularly egregious example, Radiguet, most notably in Chapter 32 where
* AuthorTract: The fanfic consistently proclaims how Super Sentai characters are far superior (and how their villains are worse) to those of Power Rangers, despite little evidence in-story.
* BackFromTheDead: Most villains. And Gai.
* BigBad: The United Alliance of Evil, led by Radiguet.
* ButNotTooForeign: Aside of Eiji Takaoka, Jayden becomes one as the author's liberal 'retool'
* ButtMonkey: Oh, let's see... There's Ban, Sosuke, Houka... basically, if you frequent the 'detention center', you're usually treated as this by the author. And outside that, poor Gai Ikari.
* CharacterShilling: Pretty much anyone related to Cole, notably Houka and Jasmine.
** To an extent, the entire Super Sentai universe, with the narration and dialogue from the Power Rangers characters shill the characters and villains.
* ChickMagnet: Apparently, Cole Evans.
* DemotedToDragon: Little reason is given why the likes of Flurious, Long and Buredoran, along with a few others, are serving Radiguet, a villain with no real power over them.
* DemotedToExtra: Often due to the author's personal bias towards characters, some of the many Power Rangers and Sentai warriors get shafted out.
* DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment: Oh, so much. One of the many examples:
-->Doggie Kruger: Now you see one now.
* EvilOverlord: Radiguet.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Make no mistake, the author has a lot of problems in his writing, but even he thinks this fic is a poorly written, incredibly blatant HateFic.
* FlatCharacter: Pretty much everyone, even the villains. None of them receive even the most remote points of CharacterDevelopment, nor are they expanded upon.
* Flanderization: Almost all the characters, often even with the wrong character traits. Ranru Itsuki in particular, since while she is the team's devoted techie, she does have a lot more going for her given her pacifistic desires. Here, that's literally the only basis of her character throughout the story (and part of why she gets paired with Billy Cranston).
* FullNameBasis: In narration, it's always with full names, just so they don't confuse those with similar names. Which is to say... a lot.
* HateFic: This fic is almost this, if you notice how much the author bashes the hell out of Kalish seasons. Aside of the AbortedArc above, there's also one tiny detail where the author had Marah and Kapri get killed off because he thinks they're so dumb.
* Homage: A generous interpretation of Akizuki's stories is that he takes inspiration from other works, such as Fanfic/SuperSentaiVsSuperSentai, Film/TensouSentaiGoseigerVsShinkengerEpicOnGinmaku and other works. A less generous interpretation is that he has no ideas for plots of his own, and so he rips them off.
* HopelessSuitor: Oh so much. And sometimes, in a pairing that you wouldn't even think of. There's Spike to Kaoru Shiba and Cole to Sakura Nishihori... to name a few.
* Hypocrite: The author comes across as this with his writing.
** Despite claiming he wants to stop people insisting that Sentai/Rangers is better than Rangers/Sentai, the fic blatantly prefers Super Sentai and does nothing to hide it.
** The author retconned Gokaiger because he didn't like that they confirmed Gai Youki was dead... and yet he rips off the "Wings Are Forever" episode for Shurikenger (a character who is canonically BackFromTheDead). Similarly, a lot of the plot elements that are plagiarised are from works the author hates.
* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: Flurious. Dear God, FLURIOUS. He might not be a competent villain from the weakest Power Rangers series, but the treatment he got from the villains AND the author makes him look pitiful than annoying as the author intended.
* InformedAbility: The new United Alliance of Evil are said to be much worse than the previous one. For comparison’s sake, the original conquered the entire universe and were only stopped due to a HeroicSacrifice from Zordon. The new one only controls Western Europe and hasn’t been thwarted because they insist on repeating the MakeWrongWhatOnceWentRight plan closer and closer to the present.
* InterchangeableAsianCultures: At one point, the kanji drawn by the Shinkengers is referred to as “Chinese”. While the characters do hail from China, many of them have different meanings in Japanese.
* LastDisrespects: spoiler:The now-deleted Operation Suicide chapter, where the United Super Sentai and Power Rangers Alliance openly mock the now deceased Operation Overdrive team, merely because the author hates their home series.
* LethalChef: The author never makes you forget that Mako and Mia are horrible cooks and they weaponized their horrid cooks for... other things.
* LighterAndSofter: What the author intended... sometimes it makes the already sadistic Radiguet look silly.
* LikeParentLikeSpouse: Shiba Takeru's mother apparently looked exactly like his now-girlfriend Mako.
* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: The fight scenes are very bare-bones, occasionally being described as “awesome” or the like, if even that. As such, most fights come off as this.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: Radiguet, despite being very pragmatic in his home series, spends most of his time in this fic on his throne, berating his minions and drinking wine.
* OutOfCharacter: Most of the cast. It's easier to count the ones who are in character (Genta, Akumaro, Hanto, Agent Abrella, Ichijo (who is incredibly one-note anyway) and Basco.
* OriginalGeneration: Chiharu Tanaka, long lost daughter of Aya Odagiri, and now forming a relationship with Hoji Tomasu.
* ProductPlacement: The [=iPod=] is used by several characters throughout the fanfic, from Tommy using it to obtain information about the remaining Maskmen to Kimberly listening to one of Teresa's songs with it.
* RapeAsDrama: Chapter 32 has Radiguet violating Kimberly.
* RunningGag: There's always something with regards to bad cooking every now and then. It's most notable with Mako, although it's evident with Yukito and strangely, Momoko, who didn't even display such a trait in her original show.
* ShipperOnDeck: Jasmine seems to be shipping Cole with Sakura.
* ShoutOut: The sons of the Jetmen are named after the Gatchamen (Ken, Joe and... Ryo, just to avoid the same name with Red Hawk)
** A ShoutOut to other fic: One of the chapters is based on a chapter in FanFic/SuperSentaiVsSuperSentai... and makes it LighterAndSofter
* SkewedPriorities: Big time. No character can focus on any one thing, focusing on trivial matters like shipping, shilling, and many others. It's especially noted since the story states that Europe has fallen into the hands of the United Alliance of Evil...and they continue their time battles rather than try and save the continent.
* SpotlightStealingSquad:
** Cole Evans for the Franchise/PowerRangers side. The author seems really fixated on him and can't even understand how the fans actually react about Cole. Tommy, Kimberly, and Billy (alongside Ranru from Abaranger) get this to a lesser extent.
** More generally, the Shinkengers, the Boukengers, the Dekarangers and the Jetman (plus, to a lesser extent, the Maskman) get a disproportionate amount of focus compared to other Sentai teams.
*** The biggest Maskman example is during the Liveman two-parter where they (notably Takeru and Momoko) steal the spotlight over the supposed tribute characters. Helps that in Werezilla's reading, he growls at the mention of their names.
*** Even if the characters are definitely the author's favorite, their portrayal is somehow very incorrect.
* SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute: The author has implied that Chiharu is intended to be this for Jasmine and that Jasmine will quit the Dekarangers to raise a family with Tetsu.
* ViewersAreGoldfish: The author tends to reiterate points that were made at least in the same paragraph.
* VillainDecay: And... how? The author also made justifications such as how Radiguet got some mental damages in process... YMMV on how it makes sense or not.
* VillainousCrush: Radiguet to Kimberly. Kiros to Mako.
