Context DubNameChange / MarioParty

Go To

1Keeping up with ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros'' franchise history of {{Dub Name Change}}s for Woolseyism purposes, the ''VideoGame/MarioParty'' series abounds with name changes.
2
3Some general notes:
4* Several Party Mode boards across the series have ThemeNaming after various Japanese onomatopoeias or similarly snappy reduplicated words in the Japanese versions. [[LostInTranslation Since these terms do not translate very well abroad]], the localizations ignore these words and go with their own themes instead.
5* Name changes where the only change to the name is a term for a franchise mainstay (such as Koopa to Bowser and Jugemu to Lakitu) being replaced with a consistently used international name will not be listed here.

11* Onomatopoeia replacement:[[note]](the second term in each board's name is a plain Japanese word referring to roughly the same thing as the English version. The second portions of the Japanese names are thus given their official translations for comparison purposes.)[[/note]]
