3	%% Saif Ali Khan (born Sajid Ali Khan, 16 August 1970) is an Indian actor in Bollywood films. He is the current Nawab[[note]]Viceroy[[/note]] of Pataudi, which he recently inherited from his father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. His mother is the actress Sharmila Tagore, herself a descendant of Creator/RabindranathTagore, a famous poet who wrote the lyrics to the Indian national anthem. Saif has two sisters; actress Saba Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan. He is the heir apparent to the headships of both the royal houses of Bhopal and Pataudi.

5	%% Khan made his debut in 1992 with ''Film/{{Parampara}}''. He had his first major successes with the 1994 films ''Film/MainKhiladiTuAnari'' and ''Film/YehDillagi''. After going through several years of decline in the 1990s, he rose into prominence with his performance in ''Film/DilChahtaHai'' (2001), which marked his professional turning point. His performance in Nikhil Advani's ''Film/KalHoNaaHo'' (2003) won him the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award, and he won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in ''Film/HumTum'' (2004). He then had commercial success with films like ''Film/SalaamNamaste'' (2005) and ''Film/TaRaRumPum'' (2007), and starred in critically acclaimed projects such as ''Film/{{Parineeta}}'' (2005) and ''Film/{{Omkara}}'' (2006). These successes put him among the most successful actors in the industry. Since 2009, Khan has branched out into film production.

He recently married Creator/KareenaKapoor, his frequent costar and live-in girlfriend of several years. He had been married once before, and his children from that marriage are now in their teens.

9	Saif Ali Khan Pataudi (born Sajid Ali Khan Pataudi, 16 August 1970) is an Indian actor and producer who primarily works in Hindi-language cinema. He is the son of actress Sharmila Tagore and Indian international cricketer and Nawab[[note]]King[[/note]] of the erstwhile princely state of Pataudi Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi[[note]]while Saif was crowned the Nawab of Pataudi following his father's death in 2011, this is purely symbolic; the Indian government has not recognized the rulers of the erstwhile princely states since 1971[[/note]]. He has two sisters: actress Soha Ali Khan and designer Saba Ali Khan.

11	Saif began his career with the film ''Parampara'' (1992), breaking through with the films ''Film/MainKhiladiTuAnari'' and ''Yeh Dillagi'' (both 1994). After a subsequent string of flops, he had a CareerResurrection with ''Film/DilChahtaHai'' (2001), following it up with success in ''Film/KalHoNaaHo'' (2003). He has been noted for his wide range of roles, ranging from light-hearted romantic comedy to much more serious fare, including playing an adaptation of Iago in Vishal Bharadwaj's ''Film/{{Omkara}}''. Saif has also acted in live-action series, making his debut headlining India's first Creator/{{Netflix}} original series, the critically acclaimed ''Series/SacredGames''.
