3Spangler Arlington Brugh, [[StageNames better known as]] Robert Taylor (August 5, 1911 – June 8, 1969) was an American film and television actor.

5He started his career during UsefulNotes/ThePreCodeEra and went on to become one the most popular leading men of UsefulNotes/TheGoldenAgeOfHollywood.

7He was married to Creator/BarbaraStanwyck from 1939 to 1951 then to German-born actress Ursula Thiess from 1954 to his death. Even though he appeared with her in ''Ivanhoe'', he had no family ties to Creator/ElizabethTaylor.
